I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2080: 24.341 Sixth Violet Star - Take their place

As the barrier at the ancient forest was further enhanced thanks to the cosmos stone they got from the two Mythical Dragons, the situation at the borders and barren land had gotten strange. When the two Mythical Dragons had been exposed on the surface all those who possessed the beast bloodline were suppressed by their existence alone. All the beasts were terrified and all the beastmen felt their strengths were temporarily amplified. As for the Beast God, Lord Mo Minkong, and the Evil Beast God Ouroboros, they instantly sense that these mythical dragons are not of this world. They were not born from here, yet they are connected to someone born here. The Evil Beast God didn’t know about the existence of these two dragon gods and felt that these might be another card left by the God of Destruction to the Beastmen race and was worrying about it.

After all, if these two dragon gods appeared at the borders, he would not be able to protect Pei Jin properly on his own. He still wanted to live with Pei Jin a bit longer in this life. As for the Beast God, Mo Minkong, he immediately realized that these two dragons might be the ones their children had left behind in the ancient forest to defend their homes. For them to suddenly appear like this, he is afraid that the situation at the ancient forest had gotten dangerous. Though he was also a bit confused as the presence of the dragon only lasted for a while before once again fading.

The two systems, Zhi Yue and Zhi Yang, were also confused and immediately contacted the two wardens at the ancient forest and asked what the situation was over there.

[Connection to the subsystem of the Chief Warden. Connection had .]

[Now issuing requests for communication. Request approved!]

As the system successfully made a connection, a video holographic call appeared before the two systems. On the opposite side are the two wardens, Lou Wuye and Yun Ming.

The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye said, [Are you going to ask about the two presences? Don’t worry, they didn’t openly wake up and only appeared temporarily because Vega had summoned them.]

[Why would the son-in-law summon them? Did something happen? Did that monster escape from the Dream Realm? That’s impossible! The God of Dreams is not easy to defeat.] System Yue said.

Warden Yun Ming said, [Lord Wanyi is not directly involved of course his partner wouldn’t as well. They only locked the World Destroyer in the Dream Realm to let the mortals of this world buy some time. That’s why Lord Vega seeks the dragons. They’ve received the broken Cosmos Stone.]

[Isn’t it not possible for one to touch the cosmos stone? Would they be alright? If something happened to the Lord Guardian then the situation there will not end simply.] System Yang said.

The Chief Warden, Lou Wuye said, [Nothing happened to him. Also that cosmos stone, like an ordinary stone after it was broken, had leaking energy which cannot be absorbed but only used. They used it to enhance the barrier. Though it wasn’t as strong as the original barrier created by Lord Hei, it should be able to block a few hits from the World Destroyer.]

[How is the situation there? Any news about the Divine realm? We can only defeat the main villain with their support. So we need the exact time they will arrive,] said Warden Yun Ming.

System Yue said, [According to Uncle Huzi, he had contacted his mother and said that they are on the way. The Ninetailed Fox Goddess and her husband, the Tiger God might descend ahead of time then they will be followed by the other gods of the Divine realm.]

[There is no exact day but it should be within the month or so. If they didn’t arrive on time just force the main villain to use the original energy in his control. That way, the heavens will allow our lords to directly interfere. His existence is considered worse than an ordinary World Destroyer as he is from the cosmos beyond.] System Yang said.

Warden Yun Ming said, [Thank you. We will keep that in mind. Ah, right. Some people from the ancient forest were sent to the borders and mostly only soldiers remained at the forest for the final confrontation. Inform the leaders there to accept them. Mostly children and women. Some were young warriors as reinforcement. Please report it to your side.]

[Leave it to me. I will pass the message. That’s all we need to know. See you later,] said System Yang.

The communication connection between the two pairs ended after they finished sharing the situation of both sides. Now they had to report to the two commanders on this side about the situation in the ancient forest. Though it cannot be considered dire at the moment, the fact that the danger from the main villain lingers still remains.

At the borders...

In the commanders’ office, Lord Huzi and Beast God Mo Minkong were talking about battle strategy for the next beast wave. Since they already knew what kind of beasts would most likely compose the next beast wave, they started planning how to defend the walls. Moreover, the beast this time is even more enhanced than the usual beasts they fought against all these years. There is also the fact that the soldiers under them were not elite ones like the one under Long Juedi even so they must try to keep most of them alive while keeping the walls unharmed.

Beast God Mo Minkong said, ”With the next beast wave comprising some beasts with troll regeneration, our current soldiers will not be much of help for the next round.”

”Haerin told me how to differentiate those with troll ability and those that don’t have it. It’s their skin and hair color. Those with pale green color would most likely be beasts who inherited a troll ability. While Long Juedi and his group focused on this kind of beast, we will handle the ordinary ones mixed among it.” Lord Huzi said. ”But if this is the case, we must drag those beasts away from the main force so they can just focus on their targets as for cleaning up the rest we can handle it.”

”Dragged it to the side. We can use ropes to drag the ordinary beasts away while making sure they will not be in the way of the Main force,” Beast God Mo Minkong said. ”Also... Hm?”

He suddenly felt a movement behind his mate and halted his words. Sensing his partner’s changes, Lord Huzi also turned his head where they saw the two systems appearing before them once again. These two young men look the same as always, the tall one with a serious look and the smaller one looking silly as always. They are System Yang and System Yue in their human form.

Lord Huzi smiled and said, ”It’s you guys. What’s wrong? Did something happen again?”

”Is it about the aura that appeared a few hours ago?” Beast God Mo Minkong asked.

The two systems nod their heads.

Zhi Yang said, ”The two dragons were awakened by the Lord Guardian Vega. It seems he is seeking to find something to strengthen the new barrier created by the beast race around your tribe. They helped him with it and returned to sleep.”

”They’ve returned to sleep. Then our tribe...” Lord Huzi said.

Zhi Yue said, ”Only when the tribe is on the brink of extermination would those two make a move. Going back to sleep is normal. They are also gods, though not as powerful as the Princes, they are stronger than the Spirit God.”

”The Prophet and the Guardian are also sending the children, women and young warriors to the borders. Please be ready to accept them,” said Zhi Yang.

The two commanders turned serious. They understand the implication of this action. The moment the weakest within the tribe was sent away, it meant that the danger in the city had gone beyond the danger in the borders. That’s why they are being sent here. Well, a place with a protagonist is considered a safer place than the others as they were born with the blessing of the world and the heavens.

”Then Heri and Vega are...” Lord Huzi, the leader of the beastmen asked.

Zhi Yang answers, ”They need to stay. Without them there the warriors would lose their courage.”

Hearing this, Lord Huzi was stunned and felt helpless for the first time. He covers his face thinking why things have gotten to this point and feels frustrated that he can’t do anything about it.

”Can I just take Heri’s place?” Lord Huzi asked.

Zhi Yue lost his smile and said, ”No. The moment you were the one placed in danger, it’s no different than dragging Lord Hei and Lord Ye with you. Once something happens to these two you can say goodbye to your world!”

”Once the world is destroyed, forget about your brothers, everyone on it will be gone,” said Zhi Yang.
