I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1675: 22.61 Third Red Star - Gods of Current Era

After the world eater declared that the God of Void had become his disciple, the God of Sea in front of him didnʼt seem surprised. He realized that even though the God of Void had appeared together with the God of Destruction, the latter never treated Ye Xiajie as the prepared vessel for the World Eater. It can be said that Hei Anjing treats the God of Void in a pampering manner and is overprotective of the man, making it not hard for everyone to know that he is instead his other half and not a prepared vessel.

The God of Sea, the Mermaid Emperor, Lan Hao, said, ”I do not have any plans to harm any outside gods, much less your children. I only want to kill all those resentful souls from the ancient era, the annoying ones whom you freed from their soul prison.”

Just thinking that it was because of this manʼs arrival that caused the situation they have right now pissed off the God of Sea. Though this had long been prophesied, failing to prevent it annoyed him so much that it is why he is in a bad mood, seeing the World Eater before him.

Seeing the expressionless and coldly cool beauty in front of him made An Shizhe a bit guilty. Maybe because he looks too much like Hunluan, he felt a bit moved, but that is all. After all, a soul fragment is not truly the same as the original.

The mermaid emperor, Lan Hao, asked, ”Do you think your child will like it if you keep interfering with his fun? You get angry when people take away your prey. What would happen if you took his fun? Will you get beaten up?”

The world eater recalled the calm God of Destruction and his battle prowess that can almost match his own. Thinking that if there is ever a fight between the two of them and the young one is in rage, he feels that things will not be easily resolved with him just getting beaten up, and his disciple will definitely not be on his side. He couldnʼt help but turn his head and look in the direction where his children were and accidentally met the cold eyes of the God of Destruction. He immediately stopped blocking the mermaid emperor.

Moving away from the path, ”That was a wrong move from me. Go ahead~” said An Shizhe.

The Mermaid Emperorʼs thought at this reaction was, ʼI never expected that the feared World Eater had this kind of side to him. But to be afraid of the child of the original is normal. If I had no plans on returning to the original, that child would most likely forcibly capture me and overpower me.ʼ

Seeing that the World Eater no longer blocks them, the God of the Sea finally issued a command that started the apocalypse of this world.

{My brethren, listen to this emperorʼs command. Kill all humans you can see, and do not attack anyone within the barrier of the mermaid king!}

ROAAAR~

Countless roars from the sea were heard. Behind the Mermaid Emperor, the sea monsters had all gathered. They will finally have a feast of the kind where they can eat as much as they want from the land until the land no longer exists.

—

On the other hand, on land, no humans knew about the situation in the sea area.

The God of Destruction, after getting scolded by the human race, didnʼt really care about their words. He had observed a few of them during the confrontation and found the ones that could be saved and those he chose to ignore. Of course, he also noticed within the crowd who possessed the ancient godʼs souls.

Hei Anjing spoke, ”Am I not welcome on the land? Look behind you! Will this place still be called a land after it was swallowed by the seas~”

Everyone heard the words of the mermaid king, and they all collectively turned around, including the human king and all others whose bodies were taken over by an ancient god. Looming not far away from them is a tsunami ten times larger than the first one, and it is large enough to cover the skies. Everyone from the human race, whether they are inside the barrier or outside, looks at the sky full of water and turns pale from fright as they witness the end of the world.

”How can there be a tsunami this big?!”

”Is it still possible to run away?”

”I can believe this! Why is the sea appearing in the skies!?”

”Run! Run away!”

A few of them had run away while the others despaired and knelt down, waiting for death. Only the ancient gods calmly used the chaos within the crowd and approached the barrier. It seems there are more or fewer than ten among the crowd that is possessed by an ancient godʼs soul. The general was still commanding the soldiers under him when he noticed that the federation king made a move and came near the barrier. They used the chaos to kill as much as they could while approaching the barrier, feeling hungry all over.

In their eyes, the mermaid king within the barrier is a delicacy that is full of chaos energy capable of bringing them back to their peak and regenerating their whole body. They finally couldnʼt hold themselves back. The current general noticed the strangeness of the federation king right from the very beginning. However, seeing the scene of them killing humans as they approached the barrier left them with a terrified feeling.

The current general couldnʼt help but shout, ”Be careful! There is something strange about the federationʼs king and others moving with him! Lord Ye, watch out!!”

His loud voice was heard as the people in the crowd instinctively looked for the federation king and saw that he had turned his head in anger.

”Humans! We have tolerated you for too long! KILL!” The federation king commanded.

The other ancient gods made a move to kill as much as they could in the area, ignoring the tsunami above their heads. In their mind, as long as they can eat that one who smells so good and is full of chaos energy, they will be able to return to their peak. Unfortunately for them, they are simply dreaming. The God of Void and the God of Destruction watch the scene of chaos in front of their eyes.

Pfft! Hahaha~

”There are only less than twenty of them alive. How come they still act like they are the top of the world?” said Hei Anjing.

Hearing laughter within the chaos, everyone, regardless of their race or what they were, looked at the beautiful man laughing while leaning against the same handsome man staring at him with a doting gaze.

The God of Void helped rub his loverʼs tummy and said, ”They are the typical kind of gods. Maybe they believe that they are still the strongest in the world.”

”Indeed~ I wonder how powerful they truly are~” said the God of Destruction as his silver eyes filled with madness stared at the ancient gods before them.

Those who know those eyes too well couldnʼt help but shiver instinctively before these eyes. They finally realized what was wrong. This is not an ordinary mortal. He wasnʼt even a mermaid king that the humans called upon. This is a pureblood ruler, god of the current era of gods. What made him even more terrifying was that this young god possessed the power of both chaos and gluttony. In the whole existence of this cosmos, there is only one like that. However, that is a being that is supposed to be dead for a very long time.

All humans and ancient gods, as well as the sea monsters that were falling from the sky as the tsunami got closer, looked at the supposed mermaid king. Holding the hand of the man with a dark aura, the couple came out hand in hand, and both of them returned to their original form. This time, the God of the Sea no longer interfered with their transformation; after all, he had long decided to destroy this small world.

Two men whose presence overwhelmed all the beings around them. Both are wearing a couple of ancient robes. One wears a pure white robe with a black snowflake pattern at the edge, and the other wears a pure black robe with a white mist pattern on it. The man in the white robe possesses exquisite features that are almost androgynous: thin cerise lips, a pair of phoenix-shaped eyes, and a tall nose on a small face. He looks eerily seductive yet feels extremely dangerous.

Especially those pairs of silver eyes with crimson rims that only emit emotions of coldness and madness within. His long light brown hair had been braided halfway with a hairpin made from ice elements itself. Adding a mischievous expression to his face, he looks like a seductive little immortal fairy. This is the God of Destruction, Hei Anjing.

Beside him is a man a head taller than he is. He is almost expressionless, and his downcast eyes are always on the man beside him. His features are sharp and fierce, even though he is so handsome. He cannot be called a beauty like the little devil he held beside him; instead, he looks completely like an evil god. His long black hair cascaded on his back, and those pairs of inhuman vertical crimson irises were like rubies made from blood, adding to the dangerous darkness that surrounded him. He is definitely a powerful god that can match the menace in notoriety, at least in the eyes of these ancient gods, the World Eater. This is the God of Void and Darkness, Ye Xiajie.

Upon seeing the gods hiding among the humans transform, even the two wardens had returned to their original form and taken the position as guardians within the barrier with however little moon and little sun over them.

”You are… Gods of the current era!?”

The federation king, whose soul was replaced, looked at the young gods who possessed an aura that overwhelmed them. In the past, the only ones who possessed this kind of aura were the Ancient God of Chaos, Hunluan, and his partner, the World Eater, An Shizhe. Now, seeing the gods of the current era made them feel that things had completely changed after their deaths. The gods are now stronger than they are. Moreover, the Gods of righteousness and the Evil Gods live together in balance. This had never happened before.
