I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1079: 17.6 Fourth Violet Star - Sentient Plants

When the flower vines had finished knocking the intruder and his gorilla quantum beast unconscious, they wrapped them up and threw them in the corner of the room. Except for the soft vines covering his eyes, the cage that protects Yara von Chrysalis slowly retracts. These soft vines were the last to fade as the pink astilbe flower plant reverted to its normal shape as if it hadnʼt been it who destroyed the pair that had attempted to harm its master.

Yara von Chrysalis, who was holding a pot, looked at the ruined laboratory in front of him as well as the stunned expression on his face. His face was expressionless, and he looked down at his flower pot without saying anything. He doesnʼt have any expressions on his face. He even appeared innocent because he thought what he had witnessed was surprising, but that was all. His face remained emotionless at all times.

Jace Green, who had awoken from a state of shock like everyone else in the room, had gone to check on his friendʼs condition. He, like the others in the ruined laboratory, had witnessed what they were witnessing now. He was surprised, but not surprised because he had already witnessed what his little friend had done to his rose plant. The rose plant, which was on the verge of dying, had bloomed beautifully as a result of his gentle touch.

”Are you alright, Yara?” Jace Green asked.

Yara von Chrysalis just nods his head in answer.

As he grabbed his wrist to leave, Jace Green hurriedly took his bag and plant, even helping Yara carry his bag. The teachers were all staring at the pot in the embrace of Yara von Chrysalis. Their eyes were glistening with excitement. As they witnessed, that pot of flowers is definitely alive.

A teacher spoke up and said, ”Ah! Wait, Students! That flower plant can you give it to the teachers?”

”But this is my Agriculture Classʼs Homework.” Yara von Chrysalis mumbled as he tightened his grip on the plant.

Dean Frey von Gregory reprimands, ”Stop! What are you doing taking the childʼs thing with you!? Students, go back to your dormitories. Classes for the rest of the day are canceled.”

Under the greedy gaze of the teachers, Jace Green and Yara von Chrysalis hurriedly left the class. They genuinely desired Yaraʼs pink flower pot. Unfortunately, the dean had already spoken and had received a reprimand for it. The two students overheard their teachersʼ departure conversation.

”Dean, why didnʼt you take that pot of plant to study? Thatʼs a plant with intelligence!”

”Moreover, we should also check on that student fully. How was he able to make such a plant or maybe he is not an ordinary person after all.”

”We should find the connection between the two of them. You know how important plants are in the Imperium.”

”Enough! Think twice before you speak. Since that plant made a move to protect the child. Once it was away from the child would it still live? Or do you think you can fight against it, a plant that smashed an A-ranked Adjudicator and its Quantum Beast like a piece of rug to the floor!” Dean Frey von Gregory stated, making the rest of the teachers mute.

”Donʼt touch Student Yara and Student Jace. Iʼve already warned you. Have someone clean up this place.”

The Dean walked away, taking the intruders with him. These two would be handed over to the Black Dragon Troop, from which the Dean had come. He didnʼt know if these people remembered his warning. But he is now certain that Yara von Chrysalis is Lord Heiʼs soul fragment. Such a strange scene that shouldnʼt exist in this world. It can only be caused by Lord Hei. He had no idea how that plant became sentient, but for God, giving sentience to something is as simple as breathing.

If these teachers did make a move, they would undoubtedly be affected by those plants. He heard that Yara von Chrysalis keeps a lot of plants in his room, so he brought those plants to school from home. In short, plants gain intelligence and life for an extended period of time. He wouldnʼt be surprised if those plants turned into fairies.

Meanwhile, Jace Green dragged Yara von Chrysalis to their dormitory building, carrying their bags and plants. They only came to a halt when they entered Yaraʼs dormitory room.

Panting~ ”Hah~ Iʼm so tired~ that just now was scary. Yara, Yara, please give me a glass of water. Iʼm so thirsty~” Jace Green said as he sat down on the couch in the room.

He looked around and noticed how clean the room is despite the fact that it is only big enough for one person. There are also numerous plants and flowers on the veranda, swaying in the breeze and soaking in the sunlight. The floral scent in this room came from the flowers that Yara was caring for. He saw him place the pink astilbe flower on the veranda with the other plants and water them gently with a shower pail. He only served Jace Green a glass of cold water after he finished this.

Jace Green stares at his friend before asking, ”Yara, did you know that your plants are alive?”

”I didnʼt know that I could do such a thing. But I would hear a few voices sometimes. Asking for water or sunlight, even warning me if there will be rain. Aside from that, I didnʼt know they could fight like that.” Yara von Chrysalis said.

Jace Green asked, ”Do all the plants have voices?”

”Yes, unless it is dead or artificial.” Yara von Chrysalis said. Then he pointed at Jace Greenʼs rose plant and said, ”Your Rose Plant said, you gave him too much fertilizer that he feels nauseous. Also donʼt forget to bring him in the middle of the day, itʼs too hot and his petals are drying. Also just water him once in the morning and a little bit in the evening. It said you almost drowned him last night.”

Jace Green glared at his friend when he saw he was about to say more things and picked up his rose plant and placed it on the table in front of him. He crossed his arms and said,

”Okay, Iʼm listening now. Tell me what you want with Yara here to translate. Donʼt you dare spread bad things about me? Or Iʼll turn you bald!”

He lightly pulled on one of the red rose petals only to get hit by a thin vine making him let go. Jace Green pulled away his hands as he saw the thorns on the vine.

”Watch it! Donʼt prick me. Or Iʼll trim off your thorns!” Jace Green said as the Rose Plant in front of him started wiggling as if showing its temper like its owner.

Yara von Chrysalis said, ”He said you shouldnʼt throw your dirty clothes on the floor and gather it in one place. You shouldnʼt play with your socks and change your maid. He said he saw it talking to someone called the crown prince?”

”Really?!” Jace Green was startled to hear that his half-elder brother was suddenly mentioned. If that manʼs people had come to the First Military Imperial School, then he can no longer hide his identity.

”Yara, is there a way for me to hear his voice?” Jace Green asked as he pointed at his little rose.

Yara didnʼt respond right away and looked at the wiggling rose plant as if listening to its words. He watched as his friend spoke with his rose plant for a while before his friend turned to look at him.

”He said he can sign a soul contract with you. But in exchange, you must give him premium fertilizer, premium nutrients, and sunlight morning and night as well as protect him from being taken away by the other people. After all, he still hasnʼt grown enough to match the plants in my house.” Yara von Chrysalis said.

Jace Green grinned and said, ”Deal!”

”Then you must give him a drop of blood. Unlike me who can converse without a need for a contract, you need this soul contract to hear his voice.” Yara von Chrysalis explained.

Jace Green nods his head and pricks his thumb a bit and drops blood on his rose plant. The red rose as if he was alive sucked on the blood and glowed for a bit. Jace Green felt something else was growing in his quantum world while the rose plant in front of him had disappeared.

A young boyʼs voice can be heard in Jace Grenʼs consciousness saying, ”Master, there is a scary beast in your head. Tell him not to eat me. Iʼm not delicious! QWQ”

”There is a voice in my head but... Itʼs not my Xiao Li.” Jace Green said.

Yara von Chrysalis said, ”Check your Quantum World, your rose should be there. You can call him out anytime but like your quantum beast you must name him.”

”You know that I am not an ordinary person.”

”There is a qi concealed in your body. I can see through most energy even if it was hidden. I know that you are hiding it, so I never asked you about it. Like how you donʼt ask why I asked you to be my friend on the first day.” Yara von Chrysalis said.

Jace Green said, ”Then continue to be friends?”

Yara von Chrysalis agrees with a nod of his head. The two talked until Jace Green decided to go home and rest. He brought out his rose plant, Rozen. This is to ensure that anyone watching the building knows he didnʼt leave anything behind. At the very least, he didnʼt want those greedy people to know that Yara had given him an intelligent plant like his previous Pink Astilbe. Jace Green noticed multiple presences hiding nearby as soon as he exited the Dormitory Building where Yara von Chrysalis lives. He gave his shadow guards a command in hushed tones.

Jace Green commanded, ”Capture them all. Tell their master not to bother my friend or they would suffer consequences for it.”

”Yes, Your Highness!”

On the same day, news of the commotion at the First Military Imperial School reached those who were involved in it. The Crown Prince, who had received a warning letter from his Imperial Uncle, was enraged by his subordinateʼs stupidity. He instructed him to conduct a covert investigation into Student Jace Green rather than abducting him. He was even unlucky to run into the Dean while attempting to kidnap Jace Green.

Not only that, but he also assaulted a regular student. Most ordinary people were protected by the law, particularly from the violence of those in power. His subordinates had not only preyed on a young man as an Adjudicator, but they had also attempted to harm an ordinary student. No surprise he was apprehended and punished by the Grand Marshal for breaking the rule.

”That useless thing! I told him to investigate it secretly. What did he do for the Dean of the First Military Imperial School to capture him and surrender him to my Imperial Uncle.”

Crown Prince Cain Nova von Imperlian slammed his fist against his table, severing it in half. As he received a summons from the Main Palace, his face was filled with rage. He will be punished as a result of his subordinateʼs ineptitude. The complaint was made by the Grand Marshal himself. It was something his Imperial Father could overlook.

The Old Butler couldnʼt help but inform his Master about the Main Palaceʼs special guests.

”Master, Royal Knight Rosegard had come to pick you up under the orders of the crown.”

Tsk!

”He is here already. The Imperial Father is so protective of that brat. It wasnʼt even him who also got attacked anyway. Forget it, letʼs go.” The Crown Prince said as he left his Palace to heed the summons of the Crown.
