I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1076: 17.3 Fourth Violet Star - There is something wrong with this world.

The Crown Prince and the Second Princeʼs conversation continues. Each was speaking in a way that allowed one to guess what the other person meant. But itʼs clear that both are anticipating the otherʼs next words.

The Second Prince, Christopher Klein von Imperlian spoke, ”Regardless of Elder Brotherʼs meaning I will first tell you what I wanted as a favor. Support my marriage with the Second son of the Rosegard Family, in exchange I will tell you the news that the Imperial father didnʼt want others to know.”

”You truly like that little kitty from the Rosegard Clan. You want me to side with you as the Imperial Father doesnʼt support a prince marrying a mere countʼs son isnʼt it?” The Crown Prince said with a sneer.

The Second Prince, Christopher Klein von Imperlian, speaks with politeness but hidden within his words is a threat no one can turn a blind eye to, ”Your Highness, the Crown Prince, I hope you donʼt look down on this Second Princeʼs Fiance.”

”Okay. My bad. I give you a promise with our Quantum Beast as witnesses.” The Crown Prince, Cain Nova von Imperlian said.

They summoned their Quantum Beasts, and two adult lions, one with a golden mane and the other with a black mane, appeared in the living room. The Crown Prince owns the Golden one, while the Second Prince is the owner of the Black one. They both have Quantum Beasts that are similar. This is due to their Royal Family ancestry. However, legend has it that the original royal family was descended from dragons. Nobody knows how it becomes a Lion Bloodline.

A vow made in front of their Quantum Beasts is a serious promise. Because breaking it allows the party who was betrayed to kill the other personʼs Quantum Beast while the other personʼs Quantum Beast is defenseless. Because it is regarded as laws of the world.

The Crown Prince, Cain Nova von Imperlian pledged, ”I, the Crown Prince of the Imperlian Royal Clan, Cain Nova von Imperlian vows to keep fulfill my promise to help the Second Prince, Christopher Klein von Imperlian, with his engagement and make sure his partner to be Silvan von Rosegard.”

”Is that enough for you?”

The Second Prince responded, ”Yes, it was enough. Then to fulfill the part of my deal.” Christopher Klein von Imperlian stood up and whispered something to his elder brother.

Whatever he had told him left the crown prince in shock and was unable to react for quite a few seconds. On the other hand, the Second Prince after finishing his business was about to take his leave with a smirk at the corner of his lips. He obviously enjoyed the changes in expressions on his brotherʼs face.

Christopher Klein von Imperlian stood up, ”Iʼve finished my business. Keep your promise, Elder Brother.”

Only after the Second Prince had left did the Crown Prince respond? He directed his subordinates to conduct an investigation into a student from the First Military Imperial School. His face was filled with shock and disbelief. It seems the secret the Second Prince had told him was too important for him to ignore.

”Investigate someone from the First Military Imperial School. An ordinary student named Jace Green. Do it discreetly. If my Imperial Father already knew of his existence, he might have received people to protect him.” Cain Nova von Imperlian ordered.

In the Grand Dukeʼs Palace...

The Grand Marshal Caesar Mitchell von Imperlian was searching for traces of his beloved soulʼs aura. Unfortunately, no matter what he tried, he couldnʼt find any traces of his soul. He can only wait for his two subordinates to return with the items he delegated to them. He decided to return to his room and take a nap in preparation for his duties as Grand Marshal, knowing that his original self would finish it on time. So thereʼs nothing to do for the time being.

On his way, he tasked the butler, ”Butler, once Adjutant Kir returns. Tell him to wait for me to wake up. Iʼm going to take a nap first.”

”As you wish, Grand Marshal!” The old butler said as he respectfully escorted his master to his bedroom worriedly.

Inside the bedroom of the Grand Duke, everything is in black leaving a feeling of simple luxury, elegance, and gloominess. For normal people, it wouldnʼt take long for one to be depressed staying in such an eerie room. Even the lights in the room were dimmed as if this whole place were made just for sleeping and nothing more.

There isnʼt a single luxury in the world that a God of Void hasnʼt seen, walking through the room with an apathetic gaze. He takes his coat off and hangs it nearby. As he walks to the bed and sits in lotus position. Instead, he attempts to activate the so-called mental riot that the world fears. As expected, peopleʼs mania in this world is simply the reverse flow of qi in the body, causing an illusion similar to the demon in the mind. But for a God who has ruled the abyss for a long time, there is only one mind demon who can affect his soul.

When the Grand Marshal opened his eyes, his sapphire eyes had turned completely crimson, and his mental riot had begun. The only difference is that Caesar Mitchell von Imperlian is no longer insane, but rather calm. Only the depths of his eyes, gleaming with the color of blood, reveal his insanity. This man was currently smiling, gazing at the Illusions created by his mind. The appearance of his life was alive and smiling mischievously at him. But this Hei Anjing, as well as his mental demons, was looking at him with affection. Like Hei Anjing before he fell into a deep sleep.

”Baby, I miss you so much. So very much that even a mental demon was something I am willing to accept. Wait for me. I will definitely wake you up.” The Grand Marshal whispered sweet nothing to the illusion of his beloved he intentionally caused himself.

This kind of negativity, as a God of Void, could never affect him like the rest. Similarly, the God of Light can easily dispatch these mental demons, which explains their high cultivation.

For these brothers, nothing stood in their way of their cultivation path.

Caesar Mitchell von Imperlian stood there for hours watching this illusion of his wife until he felt the presence of his subordinates who had returned from their missions. He summoned them with Divine Sense. When Adjutant Kir and System Yue enter the room, it appears that System Yang has left. After hearing the news from Warden Yun Ming, System Yang rushes to the First Military Imperial School to assist in the search for his Master, leaving only the two to return to their respective masters.

Adjutant Kir saluted and said, ”Reporting to the Lord, ”This is all the information about the Rosegard and Imperlian Royal Family. The Imperlian Royal Family remains the same and everything that happened to them was the same as the recorded timeline. But the Rosegard family had made great changes ever since the Second Son, the Protagonist Shou, had been reborn.”

He had passed the information he had gathered to the table of the Grand Marshal and let him check it himself.

Adjutant Kir von Giselle continues to report, ”He first called for Megan Shelley and made him drink a Soul Dispersion Potion thinking It was an Awakening Potion. The reason for this must be revenge. According to Yue, the one who caused him to die in his last life is this Megan Shelley. Additional news from Yun Ming, he seems to have awakened in the vessel called Frey von Gregory. The Dean of the First Military Imperial School. He found out that Megan Shelleyʼs body is now occupied by an outsiderʼs soul. Not a world hopper but a transmigrator.”

”As for the rest of what the Protagonist Shou had done after being reborn is that he solidified his standing in the noble society just to make it hard for the King of the Imperlian Royal Family to remove him from the position as the Second Princeʼs Fiance. Also....we found out that the king had an illegitimate child and... my Lord, he was hidden and supported by the former owner of your current vessel. Should we continue to keep an eye on him?” Asked Adjutant Kir von Giselle.

”No need. That stupid king will know soon. Whether itʼs from the Protagonists or someone else. Remove our traces from his side before the king finds out.” The Grand Marshal commanded while looking dazed somewhere and would somewhat smile from time to time.

System Yue and Adjutant Kir von Giselle found something was wrong with the Grand Marshal but couldnʼt make a shape out of it. He would look dazed for a while as he smiled and whispered voicelessly as if talking to someone.

System Yue asked, [My Lord, are you alright?] As the system was made from Hei Anjingʼs blood, his role was to make sure his Master was safe. This was the order of Lord Hei from a long time ago.

The Grand Marshal spoke, ”The Mental Riots of this world are like the Mental Demons in our world. It would show you who can influence you the most. Who you loved the most, cared for, and hurt the most. Mental Demons had no effects on an Evil God like me but this mental demon allowed me to see my wife which made it hard for me to destroy it.”

”Mental Demons. No wonder they say those who suffer from mania go crazy.” Adjutant Kir von Giselle said. He sighed in relief knowing that such things had no effect on his lord.

Caesar Mitchell von Imperlian asked, ”What happened to the things Iʼve asked you to investigate, Yue?”

[Answering to the Lord, the Heavenly Laws did meet anyone of Lord Heiʼs caliber but...for some reason the laws in his world were disrupted. Allowing things like rebirth and transmigration as something normal. The possibility of this world being corrupt is one.] System Yue said.

A frown appeared on the handsome face of the Grand Marshal, ”A corrupted world isnʼt enough reason for my memories to be used for such a thing as a mania. There is something else in this world that knows me enough to use my own memories. Find them! No matter who they are, bring them to me!”

System Yue and Adjutant Kir von Giselle fell on their knees and said, ”Yes, My Lord!”

Rosegard Clanʼs Mansion

After being kicked out of the Grand Dukeʼs Palace in such an embarrassing way, Silvan von Rosegard went directly home. He was in such a bad mood that he immediately locked himself in his room to throw tantrums. His family and brother were worried about him and stood outside the door of his room. They heard some sounds of something crashing and banging coming from inside his room.

”Sweetie, are you alright? Let Mom see you for a moment.”

”No, Mom, Iʼm in a bad mood. After I calm down, I will see you okay?” Silvan von Rosegard responded from inside his room.

His father, mother, and brother looked at one another and didnʼt directly say anything to each other, but they all had worries in their eyes.

The heir and firstborn of the Rosegard Clan is also a skilled Adjudicator. He works for the Imperlian Royal Family as a knight. He had no prince to serve, as he serves the crown itself, which is the king. Actually, he was the reason why the engagement between Silvan von Rosegard and the Second Prince, Christopher Klein von Imperlian, had been broken. This is because the King wanted to marry his eldest prince to this man and bring the Rosegard Clan to his side rather than to the Second Prince. The Royal Family members know about this, but Silvan von Rosegard, in his previous life, knew nothing of this. That is why the Second Prince asked the Crown Prince to be in his favor by supporting his marriage; he wanted to pressure the king using his elder brotherʼs power instead of getting involved in further farce. Christopher Klein von Imperlian had no intention of fighting for the crown in this life and wished to be by Silvanʼs side, nothing more.

”Silvie, brother is home. Donʼt you want to see the gifts your brother has brought home for you?” Stephen von Rosegard, the elder brother of Silvan, asked.

Silvan von Rosegard actually feels guilty for this elder brother of his for causing his death in his previous life. Because of this, he feels more attentive and caring toward him this second time around. After controlling his raging emotions, he chose to temporarily forget what happened in the Grand Dukeʼs Mansion.

The Protagonist Shouʼs thoughts at the moment are, ʼBrother? Big Brother is home. Right. Today is the weekend. He is indeed supposed to be home today. I canʼt ignore my brother because I am in a bad mood. Thatʼs right. I returned to make sure my family and brother would be safe in this life!ʼ

Seeing the destruction in his room, he didnʼt know how to clean it up. In the end, he had no choice but to not let his big brother in such a wild room and had to go out and meet with his brother and parents outside. He arranged his clothes properly before coming out of the room. He smiled at his brother and tackled him with a hug.

”Brother! Youʼre back! Welcome home!”
