I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1056: 16.102 First Red Star - Mateship Ceremony Vows

The final trial has concluded. The three couples in a group and another three pairs successfully completed the Trials and were granted the opportunity to participate in the Blessed Ceremony for Mateship. In this world, this Ceremony is considered a marriage ceremony, and only those who were approved by the Beast God and received his blessings are considered true mates. A destined union involving their souls and destiny.

The couples who passed the trials were all teleported outside the forest after picking a flower from the garden in the Illusionary Forest. The single flower in their hands transformed into a bouquet in the hands of the brides. The entire city then joyfully congratulates them.

Great Elder Tuya said, ”Congratulations to our couples for completing their trials. As you are willing to accept each otherʼs past and shortcomings you will be able to go on in this relationship. Mateship Ceremony is marriage for eternity. Even after death and reincarnation those who received the Blessing from the Beast God would receive an Imprint Crest shared by the couple; this is the connection of their soul and this would allow the couple to meet each other after death and reincarnation.”

”A connection between souls lasts forever which is why the couples who passed must accept the past, and shortcomings and know each other truly. Because cutting off a soul connection can only be done by God. The only way is death under the hands of a God. I hope everyone understands the meaning of mate. Either way, let us congratulate the couples once again. The blessing of two Gods would be given. During the ceremony.” Keylan Light said.

Great Elder Tuya announced, ”Normally it would take a whole day of preparation to complete the Ceremony but since it was already expected for couples to definitely pass we had made preparations ahead of time. Everyone helps our grooms to prepare for the Ceremony. Help them with their clothes. The Mateship Ceremony shall begin in the afternoon.”

”Leave it to us, Great Elder!”

The couples had to be separated by everyone in the city. Because the groom and bride wear different outfits, the couples were separated and required to make their own preparations.

Asher Light, Conri Lycaon, and Mayonaka Yoru were on the same side as the Dawn Siblings, who were on the opposite side. They are joined by three other grooms.

Although they were perplexed by what was going on, the Patrol Leader and a few warriors assisted with the groomʼs preparations and explained the situation to them.

”Come on, Brother Yoru! Get separated from your bride for a bit. Your mates need to change their clothes too for the Ceremony.”

”They are just next door. You are just separated by a curtain. So there is no need to worry too much. Kid, we know you can be too separated from your partner so we created this temporary dressing tent for you. Donʼt worry, with this much distance your partner is okay.”

”Thank you, Senior!” Conri Lycaon said.

”By the way, you need to prepare your vows. These vows will be an oath created by you guys. It is also an eternal promise towards your mate.”

”But we havenʼt thought of it yet, we didnʼt even know there was an oath during the ceremony.” Asher Light said.

”Just say whatʼs in your heart and your partner will answer your vows with another promise. That will complete an oath and the couples will receive their blessings. Be honest and speak what your heart desires.”

”What our heart desires~ I think I understand now. Thanks, Leader!” Mayonaka Yoru said.

”Just remember even though this is a ceremony to receive the blessing of the Beast God, it is also a ceremony of marriage between you and your beloved. Go change your clothes. Itʼs been prepared by your teacher for you. I heard in your world you wear a suit and your bride wears white. Itʼs been prepared you guys just had to walk on the carpet towards the statue of the Beast God. Once your oaths were made with the Great Elder as the witness you will receive an imprint shared by you, couples.”

Under Mayonaka Yoruʼs lead, Asher Light and Conri Lycaon bow their heads towards the people in the tent helping them with their clothes and even the whole ceremony.

”Thank you so much for your guidance and kindness. We shall never forget.”

The original inhabitants of this world were all grateful to these special visitors. They already have a feeling that these visitors are not from their worlds. After all, they knew almost nothing about their world, and the presence of the ferocious beasts surprised them. They clearly did not expect to see dinosaurs beyond the city limits. Nonetheless, no one in the city rejected them.

These people were not only friendly by nature, but they were also quite powerful. They become closer to this small group of visitors in this world where the strong are revered. They accepted them as they were and were accepting of them. So when the Great Elder Tuya asked them to assist with the preparations for the Visitorʼs Mateship Ceremony, a large number of people volunteered. These new friends were difficult to come by. They are also willing to assist with their ceremony.

”Hahaha~ donʼt worry about it. We will make sure your ceremony will be the greatest you can remember in this world. Everyone helps with it, the rest of the dinosaur meat we havenʼt finished would be cooked for the after-wedding banquet. Most of those were from your guys after all.”

The groomsʼ preparation is straightforward. They only need to dress appropriately for the ceremony. The worldʼs original inhabitants wear their traditional red ceremonial clothing made of beast fur and silk. They dressed in suits of various colors for the visitors. Mayonaka Yoru is dressed in a black suit with silver lining. Conri Lycaon was given a silver suit with a similar design to his elder brother, while Asher Light was given a white suit with gold lining. The groomsʼ preparation was completed simply by wearing these clothes, and they were all kicked out of the tent to await the arrival of their grooms.

Meanwhile, at the brideʼs section...

The other male counterparts were also required to dress in a suit and traditional ceremonial garb. The only distinction between them and the groom was the veil and crown that would be placed over their heads. Esther Dawn was dressed in a white suit and cloak, with a silver crown on his head. Carnelian Dawn, on the other hand, was dressed in a silver suit with emerald lining and a white veil. This emerald hue is inspired by the color of his groomʼs eyes. The other brides had also finished their preparations.

Everyone in the tent was staring at Amber Dawn, who was the only one dressed in a white wedding gown. Everyone couldnʼt help but stare at the only female bride in this yearʼs ceremony. This is an actual bride in a white wedding gown. Today is Amber Dawnʼs most beautiful day.

Carnelian Dawn mumbled, ”Wow~ youʼre so pretty, Sister!”

”Not bad. The clothes fit you well. Instructor Keylan had chosen this piece quite well.” Esther Dawn said. ”Tsk! Ash picked a bargain. We should have made it harder for him to pick his bride at your office wedding in our world.”

”Big brother, Car, does it not look weird? The only skirt and dress I wore before is my school uniform. Maybe I should wear a suit and pants to match everyone.” Amber Dawn said.

”NO!”

Carnelian Dawn said, ”You are so pretty in that dress. No need to change it sister!”

Everyone in the tent is divided. Itʼs a shame that everyone didnʼt get to see this stunning bride. Furthermore, this is a cloth provided by Godʼs messenger, Keylan Light. It would be impolite not to wear it. Amber Dawn finally agrees to wear the wedding gown after a long period of convincing. When all of the preparations were completed. The grooms were tasked with accompanying their brides to the carpet, where they would walk.

Each couple was given a carpet to walk on, and the grooms were told to walk alongside their partners the entire time. When the groomsʼ partners emerged from the tent one by one, they were greeted with smiles by their grooms. This is the most joyful time in their lives. When Amber Dawn walked out, all eyes were drawn to her stunning white gown. Unlike traditional red clothing made of beast fur, this pure white gown is stunning and one-of-a-kind. In this world, there is no concept of a modern wedding gown.

Many female beastmen fell in love with the white gown. Though females in this world are rare, there are still some unmarried females in the audience. They all fell in love with Amber Dawnʼs wedding gown the moment they saw it. They also wanted to wear such a lovely gown to their Mateship Ceremony.

The ceremony had finally started. Those who came to watch were asked to stand on either side of the stage. The six couples walk as a pair on their designated carpet, but the goal is only one. The two Godsʼ messengers awaited them at the statue of the Beast God. They have come to bear witness to the six couplesʼ union. The six couples stood before the statue respectfully.

Keylan Light spoke, ”You guys finally made it here. May your love continue for eternity. I give you my blessing.”

”Your love may be eternal and everlasting. I also give my blessings to all the couples. Please say your vows one by one.” Great Elder Tuya said.

Asher Light and the rest of their group almost didnʼt know what to say while the other three pairs had no problem voicing their oaths.

Unexpectedly the first one to speak was Carnelian Dawn,

”With the Gods above as the witness, I, Carnelian Dawn, swear here. To love and care for my partner. My love transcends time and space. No matter where I am, no matter what I shall be. Whether this vessel perishes as long as this soul exists, I only have Conri Lycaon in my heart.”

”In the lost and forgotten timeline. Whether our lives transect or not. Regardless of being born in a different timeline or world, as long as we can meet I, Conri Lycaon, promise to love and recognize Carnelian Dawn as my one and only Luna. Stay by his side whether in heaven or hell.” Conri Lycaon responded.

Once the oath between the couple was made a pillar of light would fall on the couples and hear the voice of the Beast God and Elemental Light God giving them their blessings.

Asher Light follows suit and kneels in front of Amber Dawn kissing her hand,

”I, Asher Light, Holy Son of the church of God Keylan Light. Make this oath with my soul and everything of me, to care and love for Amber Dawn for this lifetime and all other future lives. My princess, I offer everything for you including this soul. Do you accept it?”

”I will accept it gladly. With the world as the witness, I, Amber Dawn, transmigrator from the other world. Willingly come to this world only to meet you here as my destiny and soulmate. I promise to give you my heart and my everything. I shall be with you until the end of our life to the next and thereafter.”

The two kissed as they finalized their vows. Finally, Esther Dawn and Mayonaka Yoru looked at each other while holding each otherʼs hands. They vow as one, completing the sentences one had said.

”Regardless of race, standing, and authority. With our past as a catalyst for our meeting, our future will be a sanctuary. All the contradictions and conflicts were a part of our lives. Our fate is our beginning and our end will be our destiny. As long as our souls exist, we will share our love and everything with one another. I, Esther Dawn, and I, Mayonaka Yoru, give our vows to the heavens and Gods above. If we fail to meet these promises, let our souls perish forever to nothingness.”
