Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

I’m controlling the magic spell. Tom Doyle has become a bloodied figure. If he doesn’t do anything right now, he might be crippled.

Quiet!

Everyone outside is watching quietly. No one is making any sound. They thought that the duel was going to end now.

Tom Doyle, who has consciousness, finally gives up. The inhuman pain is intolerable for him. He hasn’t suffered such a serious injury before.

“I give up,” his voice sounds in a low tone.

Hearing that, I immediately cancel the magic spell. Tom Doyle takes a deep gasp for breath before fainting on the platform.

“Vincent Carey is the winner!”

Manager Garrett’s voice sounds.

Cheers!

The crowd erupts with a cheer. Hereafter, the name of Vincent Carey is going to be famous. The Silver Tower was already famous to begin with.

Now, because of Vincent Carey, people are going to praise the Silver Tower once again. No one would doubt the identity of Vincent Carey hereafter.

With this win, Vincent Carey has registered the identity of the Sub-Taboo Wizard. Hereafter, even the hostile forces must agree with Vincent Carey’s identity.

Buzz!

The barrier begins to retract. The next second, I’m hearing the deafening noise from the crowd. They are chanting my name.

My mouth curves into an arc. I have clearly established myself here. Though the plan of being low-key won’t work hereafter, I’m glad with this win.

Not only will it deter Tom Doyle and the Black Tower’s other Wizard seeds, but this win will also deter the Silver Tower’s Wizard seeds.

Hereafter, they will think twice before scheming against me. I casually wave at the crowd, which receives an even stronger response.

Meanwhile,

The wizard seeds from the Red Tower and other towers begin to leave as well. They have come here to confirm something.

After knowing that the newcomer of the Silver Tower is the real deal, they have to reevaluate their relationships with the Silver Tower.

The wizard seeds might not be official members, but the Mage Union uses them for special resource distribution. When there is a scarce or special resource, the Mage Union conducts competitions to select the Magic Tower.

The wizard seeds play a vital role in that event. Now that the Silver Tower has Vincent Carey, their chances of winning have become higher.

Now, the other Magic Towers won’t accept it. They will do something to strengthen their Magic Towers as well.

At the same time, the forbidden wizard of the Black Tower’s eyes flash with killing intent. He made a mistake by not eliminating Vincent Carey that day.

Now, because of Tom Doyle’s defeat, the reputation of the Black Tower would hit rock bottom. He can’t be angry at Tom Doyle.

Because he was the one who first gave him the order. Besides, Corrosion Magic is still rare magic in their Black Tower, and Tom Doyle is still one of the strongest among the other wizard seeds. They are not going to punish him like that.

He is looking at Vincent Carey. He then thinks of something before leaving quickly.

Meanwhile,

After waving at the crowd on all sides, I turn around to leave. I want to know about the bets. Hereafter, I can’t stop thinking about the mana stones.

Then I start walking towards the office.

Seeing that, the crowd starts to leave as well. They are getting up to leave one by one.

I reach the office and enter.

Clap!

The staff greets me with a round of applause. I nod to everyone.

“Wizard Seed Vincent, you have shocked everyone with your magic power,” Manager Garrett says with a flattering smile.

His attitude has changed 180°. He is more polite than before.

I notice it, but I don’t care. I immediately ask about the bet.

“Manager Lara has already asked me. I will give it to her,” Garrett says.

Hearing that, I relax. Then I nod to him before leaving.

Garrett then sends a team to bring Tom Doyle to the infirmary. They have to give him immediate treatment so that his mana core is not damaged.

After walking out of the office, I decided to wait outside for Manager Lara. She will surely come to pick me up. I can’t walk among the crowd.

Now that everyone has seen my face, they will surround me if I go outside.

I start waiting for her.

Not long after,

[Ding! Extreme Killing Intentions detected.]

[Ding! Host is advised not to confront the wizard.]

Suddenly, the system gives me a warning in my mind. The next second, I feel goosebumps all over my body. I am just standing outside the office; who would target me?

I am a little flustered and start to look around. Then I spot a man wearing a black mage robe. He is wearing a black hoodie as well. It’s hard to see his face.

But he is staring at me. Then he must be the one showing killing intentions towards me.

“What to do now?” I ask myself.

I stand in the same spot, not even moving an inch. This place behind the office is the right place for me. If I try to run, then this guy might kill me.

[Ding! Extreme Killing Intentions detected again.]

[Ding! Host is advised not to move from the spot.]

A mechanical voice sounds in my mind. Hearing that, I know this is the guy; apart from him, there is no one else here.

“Who will come to save me right now?” I ask myself.

If it were outside, I could use the Gregor Mansion to hide. But I can’t do anything here. I calm down my turbulent heart and continue to stare at him.

The Black Tower’s forbidden wizard continues to stare. He wants to scare that kid so that he would be afraid to go outside. He is giving mental pressure.

If it were anyone else, they would have collapsed from sensing his killing intention. At least they would run away, but he is surprised by the kid’s calmness.
