Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

Nicholson Family:

Jason Nicholson was in his room. He was about to go to sleep, but he received a call from Wilfred Cox. Seeing the contact name, he was stunned.

“What’s with him?” Jason uttered.

He thought Wilfred Cox might have come up with another plan. If Wilfred decided to use him again, then he wouldn’t allow it. He had his own plans to defeat Vincent Carey.

After collecting his thoughts, he answered the call.

“Jason, I have invited Vincent Carey tomorrow. I’m going to arrange a banquet for him at Rosewood Cafe. You should come as well,” Wilfred Cox’s voice sounded on the other side.

Hearing that, Jason Nicholson was stunned. His eyes widened in disbelief. He couldn’t believe what was happening.

“Did you meet him?” Jason asked.

He was surprised that Wilfred Cox was able to meet the newcomer. He knew Manager Lara was protecting that kid.

“Yes, I saw and spoke to him. He is not ordinary. So I’m going to test him tomorrow,” Wilfred Cox said on the call.

Jason’s eyes turned icy. He didn’t expect to hear that from Wilfred. He was angry, but considering Wilfred’s plan, he chose to agree.

If Wilfred didn’t do anything, he would try to target Vincent Carey.

From MC’s Perspective:

The following day,

After getting out of bed, I started my morning routine. I spent an hour before completing it. Then I walked out of the room and went to the mana essence chamber.

In the mana chamber, I turned on the switch. The next moment, the pure, rich mana started to fill the chamber. I stepped onto the platform and sat cross-legged on the ground.

Then I closed my eyes and started to run the Gravity Ark Mental Method. The mental method was attracting the gravity mana from the pure, rich mana in the chamber.

The gravity mana particles started to come out. Slowly, the gravity mana entered my body. I guided the gravity mana according to the mental method.

I could see the gravity mana start to go through my veins. After circulation, the gravity mana entered the mana core space. The gravity mana core immediately absorbed the incoming mana inside the mana core space.

The mana core space walls were covered with golden runes. These golden runes made the mana core space sacred and safe.

Seeing the gravity mana core absorbs the incoming mana, I continued to repeat the process.

Time went by.

At one point, I felt the limit. My veins were under stress. After that, I stopped practicing the mental method. Instead, I changed my attention to the inheritance. I chose to comprehend the runes hidden in the bones.

Time passed.

It was because of my supreme aptitude that I could easily solve the doubts. Now my understanding of gravity was getting deeper and deeper.

The increase in the Gravity Rule power would also increase the power of the magic spell.

Meanwhile,

Lara started her new day. At the same time, she was thinking about Vincent Carey and Wilfred Cox. She thought another incident could possibly occur today.

She didn’t know whom else Wilfred Cox had invited. If people decided to bully Vincent Carey, then it would be difficult for him to handle.

She had already given her warning, so she looked forward to seeing Vincent’s response.

Rosewood Cafe:

Wilfred Cox announced that the shop was closed for the day because there was going to be a private celebration. Wilfred Cox had not only invited Jason Nicholson but Susan Park as well.

He had tried to invite other wizard seeds, but they were on a mission. Even if they were here, he doubted whether they would agree to come.

There was also rivalry among the wizard seeds. If other wizard seeds didn’t want to give him face, then nothing could be done.

Wilfred Cox didn’t care about that. All he cared about was testing the newcomer. He was going to arrange the perfect stage for that.

Not only had he invited the other two wizard seeds, but he had leaked information to the Black Tower as well. He thought Tom Doyle was going to make a surprise appearance.

If he came here uninvited, he would directly challenge Vincent Carey next. Everyone would then witness the truth.

If a fight broke out, they could witness who was the strongest among them. If Vincent Carey managed to defeat Tom Doyle, then it could be said that Jason Nicholson’s defeat was not unjust.

Even if Tom Doyle didn’t make any appearance, he had arranged wizards privately to cause problems. So today there was going to be entertainment.

He wanted to see how the newcomer would react to all of the chaos.

Inside the mana essence chamber:

Time passed.

An hour before noon, my concentration shattered. I opened my eyes. I could feel the increase in gravity rule power, but it was not enough to increase the percentage.

If I could practice all day and night, then my gravity rule percentage would increase. My understanding was better than before. I understood every small detail about Gravity Magic.

It had huge potential to uncover. If my understanding reached its peak, then I could alter the shape of terrain with gravity magic.

But then I had a long way to go. Then I called up the status panel. When it appeared before my eyes, I started to go through the stats information.

Seeing that there was small progression in strength, I nodded my head in satisfaction before closing the status panel.

Then I immediately thought about Wilfred’s invite.

My mouth curved into an arc. Last time, Jason Nicholson had tricked him at the blue stone auction house. Wilfred Cox was even more cunning.

I knew his scheme was going to be more dangerous than Jason Nicholson’s. But I would not fall into his trap. If the situation was against me, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave or hide in the Gregor Mansion.

I was looking forward to seeing his tricks against me. Then I stood up and went to the console to turn it off. The mana inside the room disappeared.
