Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective:

The following day,

In the Gregor Mansion, I saw that the magical creature had gone. I had waited the whole night for this. I still don’t know whether it’s truly gone or not.

So I decided to wait a few more hours.

Time passed.

When it was past noon, I checked the control mirror once again. The magical creature was nowhere to be seen. I felt that the magical creature had really left.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared outside, looking at the lush green surroundings. My expression was solemn.

“Anderson Family,” my eyes flickered.

The skeleton must be related to their family. He could be one of their ancestors. After pushing down these thoughts, I resumed my journey.

I began to fly low above the surface. If anything dangerous appeared, the system would warn me. Next, I couldn’t wait to get inside the core area.

Time passed.

I had successfully crossed a few miles before reaching the vast barren land. Seeing the vast barren land devoid of any vegetation, my eyes flashed with doubt.

“How could this be?” I asked myself.

My eyes were searching for any weeds or grass. Not a single thing could be found on the ground. I’m sure that it’s the border for the core area.

If I cross the barren land, I might reach the real core area.

[Ding! Warning!]

[Magic Golem has been detected!]

[Magic Golem is trying to scan the host!]

The system’s voice sounded in my mind. Hearing that, I felt goosebumps all over my body.

[Ding! Whether to allow it or not?]

The system asked in my mind. Hearing that, I allowed it. I had a feeling that it must be a trial ground, like the one similar to the Star Puppet Inheritance Trial Ground.

[Ding! Magic Golem is scanning the host’s mana core!]

Hearing the system voice again, my expression turned serious. At the same time, I was filled with expectation.

“After a long time, a Gravity Magic Seed has entered the Trial Ground.”

I heard a deep male voice coming from the barren land in front of me.

“Magic Golem,” my eyes flickered.

Now, I understand. The Magic Golem is the protector of the Trial Ground.

Boom!

The land in front of me changed. The barren land split. The next second, a humongous magic earth golem appeared above the ground.

My pupils shrink. If not for the earlier voice, I would have escaped from the spot because my senses were screaming at me.

The Earth Magic Golem stood over 50 ft tall with a rounded body structure. Its two oval eyes flickered before it saw the Gravity Magic Seed.

“You are the 1001st visitor here!”

“There will be trials according to your magic level.”

“If you pass the trial, you will receive the inheritance of the Forbidden Gravity Wizard, Esther Edwards.”

The Golem said in a deep voice.

“Forbidden Wizard?”

“What’s that?” I uttered in surprise.

Before I could ask anything, the ground beneath me collapsed all of a sudden. I went inside.

Thud!

I landed on solid ground. My eyes scanned the surroundings. The place was pitch black except for a lamp lit with a blue flame in the middle of the room.

[Trial 1: Cast a Gravity Magic Spell.]

[Time: 1 hour.]

A Golem’s voice sounded again. Hearing that, I started to focus. The first trial was about casting a magic spell. The assessment might be related to instant casting and the power of the gravity magic spell.

But I didn’t have to worry at all. The system solved the instant casting trouble. For the magic power, I had the amplification to begin with.

“Gravity Domain.”

I cast the 4th stage of the Gravity Domain magic. The next second, a gravity domain appeared around me. Everything inside the domain experienced the pressure of gravitational force.

At the same time, a magical intelligence was assessing the trial, starting from the magic spell type to the power of the magic spell.

About 10 minutes later,

[Trial 1: Passed.]

[Enter the next trial through the door.]

Hearing that, my mouth curved into an arc. I immediately dismissed the magic spell.

Creak!

Then I noticed a door opening automatically.

Seeing that, I walked towards the door to enter the next trial. As I entered the second room, I noticed that the room size was the same as the previous one.

The familiar blue lamp was in the middle of the room as well.

[Trial 2: Withstand the power of gravity.]

[Time limit: 1 hour.]

The Golem’s voice sounded. The next second, gravity pressure appeared. But this pressure was something I was able to handle.

Just as I thought it would be an easy round, I found the gravity pressure increasing as time passed. I furrowed my eyebrows.

So far, I have been the one inflicting damage on others. But this time, I was experiencing the same thing. Yet the pressure was manageable so far.

Time passed.

The power of gravity increased. After 20 minutes, for the first time, I was feeling uncomfortable. This pressure—I didn’t know how many tons it was.

The pressure was enough to squash down average level-6 wizards.

At the same time, magical intelligence was assessing the body of the inheritor. In the previous trial, I had tested the magic spell of the inheritor.

Now, it was assessing the body. The inheritance of the Forbidden Gravity Wizard, Esther Edwards, was not easy to obtain.

About 30 minutes later,

“Argh!”

A muffled grunt escaped my mouth. I was feeling extreme pressure similar to coercion released by a level-9 wizard.

My skin cracked. Flesh was torn apart. If this continued, I was going to become a bloody figure. But the idea of obtaining the Forbidden Gravity Wizard’s inheritance made me not give up.

I had never heard the term “Forbidden Wizard” before. So far, the only powerful magical existence that I knew was the Magic Lord.

But why did I feel that the Forbidden Wizard title was more powerful than the Magic Lord title?

Pfff!

Blood splattered on the ground. I ignored the bloody scene and continued to ponder over the Forbidden Wizard title.
