Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

From MC’s Perspective: Stay connected through My Virtual Library Empire

Special Mage Department,

I was in the classroom listening to a boring lecture. I felt it would be better for the organization to allow us to have field experience.

For example, the information about the different monsters. Ever since I came to the Ancient Redwood Country, I haven’t come across any powerful monsters.

I remember fighting low-level monsters back in my hometown. Later, my encounters with monsters decreased. The last thing I could recall was the experiences in the Lawless Land and the forbidden zones near it.

Meanwhile,

A red crow reaches the True Elements Society. Its appearance was not seen by others as it was using the void. The magical creature circles around the magic formations.

The magic formations are hidden from normal eyes. But the red crow can see several runes and chains covering the sky of the True Elements Society.

The magical creature is an intelligent being. It didn’t find any loopholes, so it uses the magic of the void to enter the True Elements Society.

Swoosh!

It disappears from the spot. The next second, the red crow is inside the True Elements Society. The red crow’s intelligent eyes flicker.

It’s using the void mana to cover its presence. The red crow then starts to search for its target. It’s recalling the images shown to it earlier.

Shortly afterward,

It arrives at the floating tower building. It’s the building of the Special Mage Department. The red crow’s intelligent eyes flicker again.

Swoosh!

The red crow disappears from the spot. In the blink of an eye, the red crow enters the Special Mage Department Building.

When it appears inside, the red crow sees the wizards going about their business. It’s trying to recognize their faces, but the faces are unfamiliar.

The red crow knows that the target’s location is here, so it decides to stay at the entrance.

Time passed,

When the classes were over, the students left their classes. One by one, they walked out of the Special Mage Department.

But they don’t know that they are being watched by the red crow. As the wizards left, the red crow continued to remember their faces.

Meanwhile,

I left the class and went to the library to study. As time passed, the red crow, the magical creature, was unable to find the target.

The red crow’s eyes flickered. If it moves away from the place, there is a chance the target could escape. At one point, it realizes that most of the wizards have left.

Not many are inside the Special Mage Department. The red crow decides to search the rooms one after another.

Time passed,

Nighttime comes. I left the library and returned to my room. The past few days have been boring. But I still haven’t decided to step out of the Special Mage Department.

Elder Paul Lin is refusing to tell me when the Head of the Organization would return. If Head Howard were here, then I could freely move inside the organization.

At the same time, the red crow moves. The Special Mage Department is empty. Even the Elders have returned to their rooms. It’s a good chance for the red crow to find the target.

…

The Perry Family:

“Why is it taking so long?” Old man Callen muttered to himself.

But he didn’t dare to question the person in front of him. Senior Caleb won’t lie to him. If that magical creature was powerful enough to bypass the restrictions, then it can surely find that kid.

But if it’s taking time, then it means there is a situation. Old man Callen glanced at Senior Caleb.

Normally, the Magic Lord won’t need food to consume. But Senior Caleb is devouring the mana meat food like crazy. He is having a feast.

Seeing that, Callen’s eyelids jumped. He is not going to disturb him. If he unintentionally offends Senior Caleb, it won’t end well for him.

It took a great deal of effort to invite him, so he was ready to wait.

…

Room:

I was in my room, lying in bed. Just as I’m getting to sleep, I heard the system voice in my mind.

[Ding! Warning]

[Host, a magical creature is coming to the host’s room.]

“Magical creature?” I woke up abruptly.

Swoosh!

The next second, I appeared inside the Gregor Mansion and rushed toward the control room.

Outside,

A small void appears, and the red crow walks out of it. It started to look for the target. But it found nothing but an empty room.

The red crow continued to search the room, but it failed to find the target.

Inside the Gregor Mansion, I broke out in a cold sweat.

“What is this?” I asked myself.

Looking at the red crow moving around my room, I felt goosebumps all over my body. My mind went blank.

It’s the first time for me to see such a creepy bird. Just as I continued to watch, under my gaze, a small void appeared like a hole. The red crow went inside.

The next second, the red crow disappears along with the void. After a long time, I feel powerless. I had only seen the Magic Lord using space magic.

But a red crow is doing that. Was it a red crow or a Transformation Wizard? A lot of questions appeared in my mind. But I was sure of one thing: that thing came for me.

It can open the void to go outside. It’s not something that I can defeat. I touched my forehead in frustration.

A couple of minutes later,

My heart returned to calmness. But I’m still not ready to go outside. What if that thing appears again? What the heck is wrong with the Organization?

Many questions appear in my mind.

“I have to make a decision,” I said to myself.

I can’t wait for Head Howard to return. Who knows what might come next? This True Elements Society is messed up. There is no saving it.

A firm gleam flashed in my eyes.

I should have left the organization earlier. It’s not a safe place anymore. I’m not getting any gravity resources here. On top of it, I have been caught up in the mess.

The internal politics won’t be ending in a day or two.

Phew!

I took a deep breath before making the final decision. I have the black token with me. The system told me that it had sensed the space magic from it.

Maybe I should travel and go to other places. But before that, I should enter the forbidden Pinewood Forest. If I could raise my strength to level-8, then I can confidently travel.

After gaining some clarity in my thoughts, I decided to leave the organization the next morning.

Meanwhile,

The red crow returned to the entrance after a thorough search of the place.

…

The Perry Family:

Old man Callen finally lost his patience and asked Senior Caleb.

“Senior, what’s going on?”

“Why is it taking so long to capture that kid?”

Caleb, who was resting, opened his eyes. He looked at Callen before communicating with his magical creature.

Shortly afterward,

He furrowed his eyebrows. He learned what happened from the magical creature.

“Are you sure that kid is staying inside the Special Mage Department?” Caleb asked.

He was confident in his magical creature’s ability. It would be difficult for even the Magic Lord to sense its presence. Under such circumstances, it’s hard to believe that his magical creature would make any mistake.

So he thinks that the target is not in that building.

Old man Callen was taken aback. Before he could answer, he heard Senior Caleb say,

“The target is not in that building. My magical creature has searched the entire place.”

“This?” Callen was shocked.

“Senior, that kid is definitely in that building. We heard from his classmates that he is attending classes daily,” Callen said in a serious tone.

Caleb frowned. He thinks Callen is not lying. If the target is attending classes, then someone must have taken him away after class.

“It appears someone is protecting the kid all the time,” Caleb said in a grave tone.

He then looked at Callen and said, “Don’t worry. I’ll tell the magical creature to kill anyone protecting that kid and then bring that kid here.”

Callen was relieved. At least, he was able to confirm that someone is protecting that kid. If they had taken action directly themselves, then it would have ended badly for them.

“Don’t worry. That kid Vincent Carey will be captured tomorrow,” Caleb said in a cold tone. He has become serious. Now it has become a matter of face-saving for him.

If he doesn’t capture that kid, then Callen won’t respect him.

So he decides to wait until tomorrow. Even if it doesn’t work out, he will go there to capture that kid in person.

…

Outside the Perry Family:

A figure is monitoring the movements of the Perry Family wizards. The person is none other than Milo.
