Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

True Elements Society:

A few days passed in the blink of an eye, but there is an undercurrent surging. Only the elders are aware of it. The wizard students are living as usual, but they don’t know the Perry Family’s plan.

At this time, in one of the Magic Palaces, a middle-aged man appearing to be around forty years old ended his retreat. His name is Gibson, the Supreme Bloodline Wizard. His bloodline is one of the ancient monsters.

He is also the Master of Leona Perry and is supported by quite a few other Aristocratic Families, but the Perry Family’s contribution is larger.

His hair and eyes are gold, and his skin tone is fair. He is wearing a robe of white and gold design. The bloodline running in his body has the luster of gold color as well. It’s the power of the ancient monster.

Gibson then enters the living room to see what’s going on in the outside world. When he got there, he saw one of his disciples.

The disciple is none other than Leona Perry.

“Leona, what happened?” he asked.

Leona Perry was shocked, but she calmed down her heart quickly. Her master ended the retreat later than she thought.

But she is happy right now. She then recovered her thoughts and started to explain.

Gibson listened while sitting in his seat, his eyes closed.

About 25 minutes later,

Gibson opened his eyes. His eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

“So many things have happened?” he uttered in a solemn tone, but in his heart, he was happy.

The reason he ended his retreat was that he exhausted his resources. There were no more resources available to conduct experiments on his bloodline.

He had reached Supreme status long ago, but his bloodline stayed there without any improvement. So he has been doing experiments for decades.

It had cost him huge resources, but thanks to his deal with many Aristocratic Families, he was doing well. One such family was the Perry Family.

The reason he accepted Leona Perry was because of the old monster in the Perry Family. He is an ant in front of the Magic Lord.

Now that the Perry Family has encountered trouble, even the old monster sought his help. He thinks he can reap huge benefits this time.

“Leona, tell Lord Callen that I’m ready to help,” he said to her.

Hearing that, Leona felt happy. She is under pressure because of her family situation as well, but now she feels good.

Then they spoke about other things before she left the Magic Palace.

When she was gone, Gibson’s eyes twinkled.

“To think someone dared to kill that old monster’s grandson. Who could it be?” Gibson said to himself.

At first, he thought it was about killing a Supreme Wizard, but he was surprised to learn he has to capture a level-6 Wizard.

He knows that things are not that simple. So he quickly summons his assistant. He wanted him to collect information about Vincent Carey so that he can be better prepared.

…

The Perry Family Estate:

Old man Callen was in his room. He was thinking about his son’s disappearance. It’s been a couple of days since Rhys Perry has gone. Not only did he not return, but the whereabouts of Aaron Perry were unknown.

The family has been searching for them, but there were no clues whatsoever. He strongly suspects the True Elements Society.

His son has been trying to find out his grandson’s killer. He thinks something has happened in that process.

“I don’t know whether Gibson has ended his retreat or not,” he said in his heart.

It’s been a few days since he told Cooper to ask for help from Supreme Wizard Gibson. He thinks that as long as they capture that kid, they could get some news.

Even if they don’t, they can focus on other things.

Just as the old man was lost in his thoughts, he received a message from Cooper.

“My granddaughter has returned with news,” he stood up with a smile.

Swoosh!

With hope in his eyes, he disappeared from his place. In the blink of an eye, he appeared in the study room.

Cooper was speaking to his daughter Leona.

Creak!

Old man Callen walked inside the room.

“What happened?”

“Did that Gibson end his retreat?” he asked.

“Grandfather, master has returned. I told him about our problems. He has agreed to help us,” Leona explained.

“Good, at least one good thing has happened,” old man Callen said with a smile.

“Cooper, did you get any news about Rhys?” he asked.

Cooper hesitated before saying, “Father, there is no news about brother. But he has visited our private house in the main city a couple of times.”

“At that time, Aaron Perry accompanied him as well. These two were up to something,” he replied.

Callen frowned. He was sure of one fact: his son and Aaron Perry were alive. The life artifacts of the two of them showed no life-threatening situations.

But their connection was lost. They can’t contact him anymore.

“I hope it’s nothing serious,” Callen muttered.

….

The following day,

Bloodline Magic Palace,

Gibson’s return was not made public. Since he has agreed to help the Perry Family, he was collecting information. He was able to learn from the assistant that the target was not an ordinary kid.

The Perry Family was sure to throw him into pitfalls. Since he had no resources to experiment with, he could only help them.

When it comes to the threat of the Mage Union, the Mage Union invests in hundreds of talented wizard seeds. Not all of them grow and live up to their expectations.

He thinks that if he helps the Perry Family in this matter, he won’t be targeted. People would first target the old monster.

He heard from the assistant that the kid is living in the special mage department, not in the dorm building. It was because his dorm building had an accident not long ago.

“If that kid refuses to come out of the special mage department, how am I going to capture him?” Gibson said to himself.

From MC’s Perspective:

The following day:

I entered the mana chamber to cultivate. The past few days have been rewarding. I could feel that I’m not far away from improving my stats.

It might happen today. So after activating the mana chamber, I sat cross-legged on the ground to practice.

Boom!

I started running the Gravity Ark Mental Method. The gravity mana particles entered my body. I started guiding the mana particles according to the method.

When the circulation was done, my mana core quickly absorbed the refined mana.

As time passed, I continued to repeat the process. At one point, my mana core began to vibrate. Instead of enlarging, the core became smaller in size, but the gravity power within it increased.

Inside the mana core, the Gravity Rule Power Mark is developing. Once the Gravity Rule Power Mark is formed, it’s a sign of a Supreme Wizard. All the Supreme Wizards have their rule power mark in their mana core.

On the other hand, the bones, flesh, meridians, and inner organs are getting strengthened as well.

A few hours later,

I stopped practicing after feeling the limit.

Then I opened my eyes, and with a thought, the status panel appeared in front of my eyes.

My gaze fell on the mana core progression and stats. Seeing that they increased, my eyes flashed with satisfaction. At the end of the day, my own strength is important.

Usually, I fight across ranks to kill the wizards. But this time my enemies are much stronger. A wry smile appeared on my face. Then I saw that my understanding of the Gravity Rule Power has touched 30% as well.

Even without resources, I could touch the peak of the wizard path. But that would take time. Only by fighting for resources can you achieve faster growth and go outside to explore the wider world.
