God's Imitator

Han Mengying also walked over, staring at Sun De with a dark expression, saying sternly, ”Sun De, come back right now, and we’ll still consider taking you...”

But before she could finish, Sun De had already interrupted her.

This person who had always been treated as a puppet and waste looked at Han Mengying with a half-smile, saying seriously, ”You know what? I’ve always wanted to say that you’re just an old, ugly monster.”

Han Mengying’s face instantly turned livid. She suppressed her anger, ”Sun De! Don’t let me meet you in future games, I will definitely kill you!”

Unfortunately, such threats seemed more like empty bluster.

On the other side, Community 12’s players had also run over.

Zhou Rong was completely panicked, tears glimmering in her eyes.

”Aunt Zhou! How could you abandon us!

”Mr. Lin, you’ve already earned so much visa time. We’re all Civilians, there’s no need to be so heartless!

”This brings you no additional benefits at all!”At least let Aunt Zhou back so we can reach the 500,000 goal, okay?

”Please!”

Hearing Zhou Rong’s pleading, Zhou Guifen sighed and silently turned away, no longer looking.

Fan Zehui also ran over, pounding on the glass barrier, ”Aunt Zhou! You knew about Community 17’s plan very early on. Why didn’t you advise me?

”If I had known we could turn things around, we wouldn’t have...”

Zhou Guifen shook her head silently, ”When you were going to press the buttons, didn’t I try to dissuade you?”

Lin Sizhi stepped forward, blocking everyone.

”I’m also sorry this result occurred.

”But as I told Luo Wei: when did you get the illusion that I would be tolerant enough to forgive betrayers?

”Obviously, your Community 12 hasn’t established sufficiently effective punishment mechanisms for betrayers. Many people openly violated the community’s collective decisions without worrying about accountability upon returning to the community.

”If that’s the case, then let me teach you a lesson on behalf of your community’s managers.

”Betrayers, regardless of their reasons, must suffer the severest punishment.

”If I let any of you off this time, then next time when our Community 17 cooperates with other communities, they’ll also betray without psychological burden. Do you think I would allow such things to happen?

”We want to tell everyone through this game:

”In games, you can choose not to cooperate with Community 17 and solve problems with your own strength. But if you decide to cooperate and then betray, what awaits you will be the severest punishment within game rules.

”Reflect well, and be more careful next time.”

Zhou Rong had completely broken down. She wiped her tears, saying, ”But with so much visa time deducted, we might not have a next chance!”

Lin Sizhi turned to look at her, saying gently, ”Oh, is that so?

”Then be more careful in your next life.”

...

In the final four rounds, the 7 players abandoned in the game venue displayed two completely different states.

Han Mengying’s three Conglomerate players had basically given up resistance.

They had seized the management room, but Han Mengying only adjusted all taxes to 0% without further taxing Civilians.

Then she sat down leaning against the management room’s glass wall, waiting for the game to end.

Qi Fan was still unwillingly thinking of countermeasures.

”Thinking about it now, should we have also hoarded investment vouchers in round 11? Though the losses would still be huge, at least we could hoard some vouchers to use before round 20 settlement, avoiding some taxation and wealth shrinkage.

”Moreover, we now occupy management. Shouldn’t we really do something?

”We could also maximize Civilian taxes, then take some investment returns...”

Han Mengying shook her head, ”It’s meaningless.

”I indeed couldn’t figure out Community 17’s voucher hoarding plan details in the shortest time. When I did figure it out, it was already somewhat late.

”But even if I had thought of it, I couldn’t have salvaged much loss.

”At the end of round 12, my 150,000+ wealth would be wiped clean by inheritance tax. Before that, there were only 2 rounds, and I could only invest once each in you three, hoarding at most 6 vouchers.

”If we invested in other Civilians, they would definitely directly refuse our investments and wouldn’t cooperate with our voucher hoarding plan.

”You can survive two more rounds than me, but your initial funds were too little, with insufficient subsequent supplements.

”Even not considering Sun De’s escape, no matter how we struggle, we could hoard at most a dozen vouchers, just 20,000-30,000.

”That’s not very meaningful.

”Now we control the management room and could raise Civilian tax rates, but in rounds 17-18, only one Conglomerate player dies, while in rounds 19-20, because the game will settle, no one will die anymore.

”Inheritance tax would naturally be useless.

”As for work tax and investment tax, as soon as we raise them, Civilians definitely won’t conduct any economic activities. This would harm others without benefiting ourselves, still meaningless.

”With total wealth unable to reach 500,000 no matter what, all our death struggles will only become Community 17’s entertainment. The more elaborate our struggles, the more interesting it is for them.

”If you want to cooperate with those people to earn visa time and salvage losses as much as possible, then go ahead. Struggling desperately might indeed save a few thousand visa time.

”But I don’t lack this little visa time, and I don’t want to be watched like a clown for entertainment.”

Qi Fan silently sighed and could only sit down beside Han Mengying, giving up together.

These three people from Community 4 didn’t lack these few thousand visa time.

Their original expected returns were over 100,000, but now it became a deduction of 50,000. Such enormous disparity was enough to make them lose all fighting spirit.

At this moment, Luo Wei ran over quickly.

”Don’t be dejected yet. I just calculated carefully. Even though current total wealth is only around 260,000, we can still concentrate this wealth and send two people to departure!”

Qi Fan was stunned, ”Oh? Did you consider the wealth shrinkage problem? Did you consider the problem of being unable to transfer wealth through inheritance in the final 4 rounds?”

Luo Wei hurriedly nodded, ”Of course, how could I make such mistakes! I’ve already considered all the details!

”Actually, relying solely on investment can also concentrate wealth.

”This game only limits one investment between two people per round, but doesn’t limit simultaneously investing in multiple people or being invested in by multiple people.

”Lin Sizhi and the others used this method to rapidly concentrate wealth before.

”We have 7 people total and can completely select 2 people to concentrate wealth on.

”As long as all investment and investee returns are concentrated on these 2 people, in rounds 19 and 20, having each of them maximize investment return limits once will definitely ensure 2 people have 100,000 wealth to depart.

”For us 7 people, this is the optimal solution!”

Obviously, after calculating this plan, Luo Wei temporarily escaped her previous dejected state. She had found the final self-rescue plan.

However, Han Mengying showed no happy expression.

”Your plan is good, but it’s impossible to achieve.”
