God's Imitator

Yang Yuting also didn’t want to meet with Lu Xinyi. After all, everyone knew that although this girl looked very sweet, she actually had countless schemes, and no one knew when they might be calculated against.

”Let’s split the bill?” Yang Yuting suggested.

Lu Xinyi smiled and pressed [I’ll pay], ”It’s fine, I like beautiful women, I’ll pay.”

Yang Yuting had no choice but to press [You pay].

”It seems like you people from Community 17 discussed strategy from the beginning? When encountering me, it’s best not to say a single word?”

Lu Xinyi observed Yang Yuting’s expression with great interest.

Yang Yuting was silent for a moment, then shook her head, ”Not really, I just purely feel that you’re too formidable. Saying the wrong thing might lead to being tricked, so I’m taking some necessary self-protection measures.”

Lu Xinyi helplessly spread her hands, ”Alright, alright, it seems my credibility can’t be salvaged.

”But since you acknowledge that I’m smart, would you be willing to listen if I tell you the optimal solution for this game?”

Yang Yuting was stunned, ”Optimal solution?”Would you really be so kind? I’m afraid you have ulterior motives.”

Lu Xinyi smiled, ”Of course I have ulterior motives, but it just so happens that in this game, our interests align.

”So you can listen to my analysis first. If you think it makes sense, then do it. If you think it’s a trap, then don’t believe it. How about that?”

Yang Yuting remained noncommittal, not giving a clear response.

Lu Xinyi didn’t mind and just started analyzing on her own.

”By now I’ve basically figured out the mechanism of this game.

”The ’Blind Date Game,’ as the name suggests, isn’t a confrontation between communities, but between male and female players.

”The method to win as much visa time as possible is also simple, which is... to squeeze as much as possible from every male player you meet.”

Yang Yuting was somewhat helpless, ”I knew it, you definitely weren’t thinking of anything good.”

Lu Xinyi was very frank, ”Think whatever you want. If you want to criticize me with those boring morals, go ahead.

”This is just the optimal solution I analyzed based on the game rules.

”First, this game is unfair to male and female players from the start. Male players get extra visa time, while female players have visa time randomly deducted.

”Although we know that actually very little is deducted, it’s still being deducted nonetheless.

”Assuming we play completely within the game rules, then male players’ earnings will always be 30,000 more than ours.

”If we really want to talk about fairness, then we should at least balance those 30,000 minutes of visa time, with each of us taking 15,000.”

Yang Yuting thought about it and nodded slightly, ”If you had said to split the 30,000 from the beginning, I would find that understandable.”

Lu Xinyi leaned forward slightly, staring into her eyes, ”My question is, since this is already an unfair game, why should I rack my brains only to get a barely fair result?

”Do you think this process itself is fair?

”In other words, this is the Gallery’s game, where bets are final and life and death are left to fate. It’s inherently an unfair game. What’s wrong with me using my skills to create even greater unfairness?”

Yang Yuting fell into silence.

Lu Xinyi continued, ”As for how exactly to do it? It’s actually very simple.

”You can propose to every male player from other communities that you match with the requirement of ’splitting 30,000 minutes of visa time equally.’

”They take out 10,000 or 15,000 minutes worth of exchange vouchers as a deposit, while you promise to exchange likes with them in the final meeting.

”As for how exactly to trick these vouchers out of them, that depends on individual skill.

”Deceive those who are easy to deceive, and appropriately give some likes to those who are harder to deceive, giving them some sweetness. Anyway, keeping these ’Likes’ is useless, they’ll have to be given out eventually.

”I believe for a young, beautiful, and elegant girl like you, as long as you’re willing to do it, it would be as simple as eating and drinking.

”In any case, after getting the vouchers, refuse all meeting invitations from them and continue looking for the next target.

”Until the final meeting, choose someone you find most pleasing to exchange likes with.

”Of course, if you’re more greedy, you can also take the opportunity to deceive some more likes in this process.

”Let’s assume that in 8 hours of gaming you can match with a dozen or so male players, and five or six of them accept your proposal. That’s a solid 60,000 minutes of visa time.

”Plus the final 30,000, you could get a total of 90,000 minutes. That’s quite substantial, isn’t it?

”You know, in many judgment games, even risking your life, you might not earn this much.”

Yang Yuting was somewhat shocked, ”But wouldn’t this lead to social death?”

Lu Xinyi looked at her somewhat helplessly, as if mocking her stupidity.

”How would this lead to social death?

”First, you’re deceiving people from other communities. After this game, everyone goes their separate ways. Who can hold you accountable?

”Second, in this game, information is completely non-transparent. Even if you make promises to several male players simultaneously, they can’t verify with each other.

”Finally, even if some of them get on the talent show and denounce you, it would be meaningless.

”Because the promise you made to them was ’exchange likes in the final meeting.’ This can’t be verified until the final meeting actually happens. How can they determine whether you changed your mind or are waiting for the final meeting?

”Even if they really get on the talent show to denounce you, they’ll quickly be voted ‘Boring’ and eliminated. After all, who wants to see a grown man crying and whining on screen?

”That would only disgust people.

”As for players from your own community, what does it have to do with them? Your earning as much visa time as possible from the game is your skill. If you’ve established some proposals to share benefits, they can even profit from it.

”Blood is thicker than water. Would they really distance themselves from you because male players from other communities got deceived?

”So, from a game mechanism perspective, this is the optimal solution for us to earn visa time.”

Yang Yuting fell into deep thought.

Soon, she looked up and asked somewhat puzzledly, ”Since this plan is so perfect, why don’t you execute it yourself? Why do you need to involve me?”

Lu Xinyi smiled meaningfully, ”Aren’t you asking the obvious? Of course it’s because the more people who execute this strategy, the more and faster everyone profits.

”You might think that fewer swindlers means less chance of being exposed. Wrong, more swindlers means the law can’t punish everyone.

”If many people execute this strategy together, then for male players, they’ll have no choice. Either give me the voucher, or give you the voucher.

”Otherwise, they can forget about getting the final 30,000 reward from exchanging likes.

”After we meet other female players in meetings, we share this concept with them, making ’male players should give vouchers’ a consensus, so all female players can benefit.

”Moreover, taking a step back, assuming this game really has some targeted punishment mechanism, having only one swindler would be dangerous, but having many swindlers would reduce everyone’s risk.”
