God's Imitator

Lin Sizhi handed over a 1000-minute exchange voucher, ”Very good, this is a reward for your cleverness.

”Next, you just need to give me a like when you leave.”

Zhao Duo happily accepted the exchange voucher, but was somewhat puzzled, ”But the query machine only refreshes once per hour, how can you be sure I gave you a like?

”Do you want to use the broadcast function to verify? But if you do that, the like would be consumed.”

Lin Sizhi explained, ”Of course there’s no way to distinguish, and I won’t waste extra energy thinking about those problems.

”As long as I don’t receive 3 likes during the three meetings in one hour, that means someone didn’t keep their promise.

”In that case, I won’t send invitations to those three people again, but will re-match three new players instead.

”Until a certain hour when I receive all 3 likes, then I’ll send invitations to these three players in order on a rotation basis, maintaining this cooperative relationship until the game ends.”

Zhao Duo was somewhat surprised, ”Doesn’t that mean if the other two people don’t keep their agreement, I’ll also be eliminated?”

Lin Sizhi nodded, ”Yes, you’d better pray that doesn’t happen.”Zhao Duo thought for a moment, then asked, ”So when the time comes, will you invite me or will I invite you? And what about the time when I’m not meeting with you?”

Lin Sizhi had obviously already made plans, ”I’ll invite you. You just need to decline other people’s invitations after seeing mine and immediately agree.

”Of course, I’ll generally invite in a fixed order. For example, if you’re the third person in this hour, then I’ll invite you for the third meeting of every subsequent hour.

”As for the other two meetings within an hour, you can arrange them as you please, I won’t interfere.

”Oh, by the way, if we can establish a stable cooperative relationship for more than three times, then I’ll consider increasing the reward amount.

”I’ll raise the price for purchasing 1 like to 2000 minutes.”

Zhao Duo imperceptibly swallowed, finding it hard not to be tempted by this condition.

Although Zhao Duo knew that if she was lucky, she might be able to squeeze 10,000 minutes of visa time from some foolish male player, that hope was slim after all.

Such fools were hard to find. Many male players, although holding a 10,000-minute exchange voucher, were just empty promises and wouldn’t easily give it away.

Of course, even if she really found such a fool who readily gave her 10,000 minutes, the optimal choice afterward wouldn’t be to keep the promise, but to directly take the voucher and run, continuing to look for the next fool.

Lin Sizhi’s plan looked much more attractive.

Because this was a stable income strategy. Although each individual amount wasn’t much, accumulated it would be a considerable sum. Moreover, the price for one like could double later, increasing to 2000 minutes.

Zhao Duo could completely use one-third of her upcoming meetings to match with Lin Sizhi, steadily earning visa time, and use the remaining two-thirds of meetings to execute other schemes.

Like deceiving people.

No matter how she thought about it, this was an irresistible proposal.

Zhao Duo smiled, ”Alright, then let’s celebrate our pleasant cooperation in advance!”

...

On the other side, Yang Yuting, who had just finished her third meeting, checked her current number of “Likes” and “Dislikes” in the rest area.

[Community 17 - Yang Yuting]

[Current ’Thumbs-ups’ owned: 2]

[Current ’Thumbs-downs’ owned: 2]

[Current ‘Likes’ received: 3]

[Current ‘Dislikes’ received: 0]

”All three people really gave me likes?

”And someone even wants to give me visa time exchange vouchers...

”This is so hard to choose.”

Yang Yuting fell into some distress.

Unlike Zheng Jie, her three meetings in the first hour had all gone very smoothly.

The first meeting was with a male player from Community 9, who proactively chose to pay the room usage fee from the start and kept trying to find topics throughout, with both sides having a fairly good conversation.

But when leaving at the end, Yang Yuting politely declined the other party’s proposal to exchange likes.

After all, she could only exchange one like per hour, and Yang Yuting wasn’t sure if there would be more suitable candidates for likes later.

Of course, she also didn’t ask the other party to like her, but the other party still claimed to have liked first to show sincerity, hoping that after Yang Yuting confirmed receiving the like, she could accept his invitation to meet again and start exchanging likes from the next meeting.

The second meeting was with a male player from Community 3.

Yang Yuting had initially been wary because he was from the same community as Lu Xinyi, but this male player was very generous, immediately taking out a 1000-minute visa time exchange voucher to give to Yang Yuting unconditionally, which caught Yang Yuting off guard.

The other party said this was compensation for female players having visa time randomly deducted in the game.

But Yang Yuting quickly clarified that while she would indeed have visa time deducted in this game, it was only 3 minutes per hour, which wasn’t much.

Moreover, even if compensation was needed, it shouldn’t come from other players.

This made the other party admire her honesty even more, and he proposed hoping Yang Yuting would agree to exchange likes at the final meeting, so both could get an additional 30,000 minutes of visa time.

After consideration, Yang Yuting still declined and didn’t accept the voucher.

Although she could have chosen to accept it first and then change her mind, Yang Yuting ultimately couldn’t make such a decision.

The other party also felt it was a pity, but still very gentlemanly expressed that if Yang Yuting changed her mind, she could invite him to meet anytime.

”You will always be my highest priority choice,” he had said.

The third meeting’s gentleman performed adequately, bringing two bottles of mineral water and a plate of snacks. Yang Yuting felt a bit embarrassed and wanted to split the visa time with him, but the other party was also very generous, saying it wasn’t necessary and proactively pressed [I’ll pay].

Yang Yuting naturally couldn’t press other options. They didn’t have particularly great chemistry, but it was still decent.

Originally, if any of these three people had lied and not given likes, Yang Yuting actually wouldn’t have been able to tell at all.

As it turned out, all three people had given likes, which made it very difficult for Yang Yuting to choose.

Who should she invite for the next meeting?

She was certain that whoever she invited would definitely agree, but it was really hard to choose.

In this dilemma, a new meeting began.

Yang Yuting walked into the meeting room and was stunned for a moment.

Because sitting across from her was a young, pretty, short-haired girl, not the opposite sex.

Moreover, the name on the nameplate made Yang Yuting instantly wary.

[Community 3 - Lu Xinyi].

Yang Yuting hadn’t expected to encounter players from Community 3 twice in four meetings.

But upon reflection, it made sense.

Although this game had 6 communities participating, players from the same community didn’t seem to be matched together, and different communities had different numbers of participants.

If Community 3 had a maximum of 8 people participating, then encountering multiple players from it would be normal.

Lu Xinyi saw Yang Yuting’s reaction and community number and immediately understood what was happening.

She somewhat helplessly spread her hands, ”Am I so destined to meet people from Community 17? Sigh, now there are no free drinks and snacks to mooch.”
