“A Sentient Artifact is used for attack, but if it’s for proving or protecting the Dao, then it’s a Dao-Protecting Artifact… and this one…” Seemingly grasping at something, Yu Zi Yu could not help but murmur.

At the same time, the flying blades suddenly trembled before turning into streaks of light, drawing closer to Yu Zi Yu.

The Willow Leaves remained the same as before. Their appearance had not changed even just a bit.

However, compared to before, their quality had changed. They were not harder, stronger, and had a unique metallic texture.

This was Yu Zi Yu’s current Sentient Artifact. No, it should be more apt to call it a Dao-Protecting Artifact, a weapon forged by Yu Zi Yu to defend his Dao.

In the future, if Yu Zi Yu were to achieve enlightenment, this weapon could also rise to become a true Dao-Protecting Imperial Artifact along with him.

The Imperial Artifact should not be underestimated, as it referred to the personal weapon of each Hegemon.

Only a Hegemon could truly wield an Imperial Artifact and unleash its immense divine might.

As for Extreme Dao Imperial Artifacts, they were a class of equipment above Imperial Artifacts, even rarer than rare. Even in the last era, there were not that many Extreme Dao Imperial Artifacts.

They represented the pinnacle of equipment. Each Extreme Dao Imperial Artifact was like a deity walking among mortals. They were equipment that could only be forged by Eternals, existing only in myths and legends.

All this because Extreme Dao Imperial Artifacts carried the Penultimate Dao of a Great Perfection Stage Eternal. They held the limitless power and boundless divine might.

Some even said, ‘Eternal was easier to achieve, but Extreme Dao was hard to seek.”

This sentence spoke volumes for the difficulty of Extreme Dao.

A true Extreme Dao Imperial Artifact might not even be forged by an Eternal. However, those who wielded an Extreme Dao Imperial Artifact must be exceptional among the Eternals, able to dominate an era and overlook the Universe.

*Hmmm…* Yu Zi Yu’s lips rose into a smile as his gaze grew deeper and profounder. Faintly, an expectant look appeared in them.

[If I can become a Hegemon, or even an Eternal, that would be really wonderful. At that time…] Lifting his gaze, Yu Zi Yu looked at the five Flying Willow Leaf Blades before him.

The Flying Willow Leaf Blades featured long, hilt-like leaf stalks adorned with numerous criss-crossing silver-gray patterns. Spiritual Energy flowed through them, casting a dazzling halo. Their edges were exceptionally sharp, and their silver-white surfaces radiated a cold, sharp aura. This chilling aura extended towards the edges and dispersed in all directions, evoking a sense of unease.

“Are you willing to be my Dao-Protecting Artifact?” Asking this, Yu Zi Yu’s voice was unusually serious.

A Dao-Protecting Artifact was forged to protect the Dao. It was far more important than an Innate Divine Artifact. It was a piece of equipment that could possibly bear the Dao or even Principle.

One could even say that when Yu Zi Yu asked this question, he was unavoidably a bit nervous. It was not anxiety or fear, but the doubt about the future: Whether he could really confirm his Dao.

Just then…

*Hummmmm…* With the blade’s cry, a burst of sharp aura suddenly fleeted past. As if something had shattered, Yu Zi Yu’s mind tightened for a split second. However, the next moment, he felt the unease in his heart suddenly dissipating.

Vaguely, he saw an ethereal flying blade slicing through his mind, severing all his anxious thoughts.

“I… am willing… to protect the Dao for Master…” A faint voice, carrying a hint of awkwardness, echoed in Yu Zi Yu’s mind.

What surprised Yu Zi Yu even more was that the five Willow Leaves gently trembled, and countless flying daggers slowly emerged, forming a silver galaxy that surrounded Yu Zi Yu.

It was as if they were guarding or accompanying him.

*Hahaha…* Yu Zi Yu broke into a rare laughter, his leaves and branches shaking. His branches danced in the Void Space like mystical divine chains, and his trunk shimmered with a hint of prismatic glow.

For a moment, Yu Zi Yu’s location was filled with a radiant glow of Spiritual Energy and a dazzling galaxy.

The entire sight gave an indescribable sense of divinity and magnificence.

“From now on, you will be my Dao-Protecting Weapon, and shall be called Radiant Galaxy.’”

As the drop of these words, the flying blades transformed into a silver sea, growing even more radiant, as if competing with the rising sun. They kept continuously orbiting around him, truly becoming a Radiant Galaxy, soaring upwards around Yu Zi Yu’s form.

“You will cut through all enemies on my path. And also sever the troubles in my heart… All my unease, hesitation, and wavering thoughts, you shall cut through them all!”

…

The voice was vast and carried an unspeakable firmness.

Yu Zi Yu’s gaze was as firm as iron, and his mind was unified and steadfast. He had complete confidence that he would confirm his Dao.

This intense thought arose spontaneously, and without a shred of doubt.

At the same time…

*Boooooom…* Accompanied by a thunderous roar, within the Radiant Galaxy, five ethereal blade shadows emerged. These five blade shadows immediately surged into Yu Zi Yu’s heart, quietly hovering around it.

These were the Blade Souls, an indescribable, mysterious thing. Like Weapon Spirits, but even more profound.

This was the strongest proof of loyalty from Yu Zi Yu’s Dao-Protecting Artifact—Radiant Galaxy. They would transform into unrivaled sharpness, guarding Yu Zi Yu’s heart and mind, cutting out all uneasiness as well as hesitation.

A heart of Dao enlightenment had no room for doubt. And this was the marvel of Dao-Protecting Equipment.

Moreover, what was even more frightening was that they could also shield Yu Zi Yu from most Soul attacks.

The sharp aura would sever everything within their reach.

If Yu Zi Yu’s Dao-Protecting Artifact—the Radiant Galaxy, was meant to cut through all tangible things, then the Blade Souls of the Radiant Galaxy cut through all intangible things.

Not just Souls, but they could even severe the so-called ‘thoughts.’

At this time, if one looked at Yu Zi Yu’s status screen, they would see his comprehension of the Dao of Sharpness rising linearly.

In just a few breaths, it had already reached 10%. And this comprehension continued to increase at a visibly rapid rate.

[In the future, I will entrust the protection of my Dao Heart to you…] Murmuring in his heart, as Yu Zi Yu reopened his eyes, a glimmer of sharpness flickered in the depths of his eyes.

Suddenly, like a glaring sun, a sharp aura suddenly erupted from his eyes, accompanied by a sharp ripping sound.

Consequently, the direction Yu Zi Yu was looking at was already covered with cracks, as if the space had been torn apart.
