“This power…” Yu Zi Yu’s eye suddenly sparkled with an unusual glint, seemingly sensing something.

At this moment, an indescribable energy was continuously flowing into his body through the body of this purple monster.

It was a very strange power.

However, it was precisely because of this energy that Yu Zi Yu felt this particular secondary root — the body of the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon — Ophis undergoing mysterious changes.

At the same time, the text on the status screen began to writhe.

Extreme Absorption — Absorbing the ‘Hunger’ ability from the Void Behemoth, and combining it with the Nutrient Absorption, the Nutrient Absorption has undergone a qualitative transformation. The ‘Extreme Absorption’ ability allows you to perfectly absorb all food and can also eliminate impurities.
Witnessing the evolution of the ability — Nutrient Absorption, a slight smile appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s face.

Yu Zi Yu was extremely pleased with this, for this further enhanced his ability to digest food.

Although this transformation was only for this particular secondary root — Cosmic Root, it was sufficient for Yu Zi Yu.

In Yu Zi Yu’s opinion, the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon transformed from his secondary root, the Azure Dragon transformed from the primary root, and the Immortal Tree — his tree form, were three separate but mutually dependent entities.

The paths they took were different.

Their directions were different.

But their essence was centered around ‘Yu Zi Yu’, bearing his ‘Soul’.

It was somewhat similar to the famous Divine Ability from the previous era—One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones.

However, compared to the mysteriousness of the Divine Ability — One Qi Transforms into Three Pure One’s, Yu Zi Yu was not yet capable of simultaneously controlling these three bodies. Even if he tried to force it, he could not fully unleash their true power.

“If I have the fortune of witnessing a Divine Ability like the ‘One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones’, I might experience a real transformation,” murmuring, a trace of anticipation flickered in Yu Zi Yu’s eyes.

According to the legends, the Divine Ability — One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones consisted of three entities that were one but also independent, each following their own path.

However, as long as one of them was alive, the other two would be truly ‘immortal’.

Even powers that cut through fate, time, and causality would struggle to sever their connection.

In other words, anyone who had successfully practiced the Divine Ability — One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones, they would become a terrifying existence that was Immortal and Indestructible.

There was even a rumor that just a Transcendent who was just at Tier-7 managed to fight with a Tier-8 Eternal Transcendent for 10,000 years thanks to this ability by hiding one of his true forms.

This spoke volumes of the terror of this Divine Ability.

And now, Yu Zi Yu was following a similar trend: The Soaring Purple Flood Dragon, Azure Dragon, and even the Immortal Tree were each walking their own paths.

The Soaring Purple Flood Dragon sought to bear the Supreme Principle—Infinite Principle, aspiring to become the most terrifying existence in the depths of the Void Space, dominating the entire Void World, and transforming into the ‘Infinite Dragon God’.

The Azure Dragon was a naturally born Sacred Being, the Master of Wood, and the Ruler of Vitality Principle.

The Immortal Tree was a Heaven and Earth Spirit Tree, Immortal and Indestructible… bearing the Immortality Principle.

If all three entities managed to make breakthroughs, Yu Zi Yu would almost be able to leave this Star System.

Of course, mastering the Divine Ability — One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones would only serve as a cherry on the cake. At that time, Yu Zi Yu’s Soaring Purple Flood Dragon and Azure Dragon would not only be freed from the constraints of the Immortal Tree but would also be able to grow individually.

As they grew, their connection would become increasingly close, until they achieved ‘Three-in-One Body,’ At that point, so long as one was alive, the other would be Immortal.

At that point, not only would Yu Zi Yu be able to leave this Star System, but even ruling the entire universe would not be difficult.

This was the Path to Tier-8 that Yu Zi Yu was about to follow.

[I must find the Divine Ability—One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones at all costs. Otherwise, the Azure Dragon and Soaring Purple Flood Dragon can never break free from my main body…] A look of determination appeared on Yu Zi Yu’s face.

The Divine Ability—One Qi Transforms into Three Pure Ones had become indispensable to Yu Zi Yu. Yu Zi Yu would not hesitate to travel to stars at a mere whiff of it.

This was no longer just a Divine Ability, it concerned his Path to Tier-8, the possibility of becoming an Eternal.

*Haaaaaa…* Taking a deep breath, Yu Zi Yu’s senses returned to the body of the Soaring Purple Flood Dragon — Ophis.

At this moment, the Void Behemoth’s body appeared to be somewhat wilted, yet its aura remained undiminished. Even though Yu Zi Yu was continuously absorbing its energy, and even though Zi Lian was relentlessly attacking its body, the beast continued to roar with a touch of madness.

In the face of doom, it still maintained the dignity of the 17th Void King.

“What a pity…” With a sigh, a sense of helplessness washed over Yu Zi Yu.

The Void Behemoth was indeed powerful. Unfortunately, it rang into monsters like Yu Zi Yu and Zi Lian. In terms of physical strength, Yu Zi Yu’s Soaring Purple Flood Dragon was on par with it. In terms of attack, Zi Lian’s slashes that could ignore defenses could inflict harm, and his ability — Bleeding that was continuously evolving could prevent its healing.

One could say that this behemoth, if nothing unforeseen occurred, would be dragged to death by Yu Zi Yu and Zi Lian.

Though the process might be lengthy, Yu Zi Yu and Zi Lian had the patience to endure it for years.

Just then, Yu Zi Yu suddenly squinted his eyes as if struck by a thought.

“Is it possible to subdue it?” A murmur escaped Yu Zi Yu as he became lost in thought.

[The Void Behemoth may become the best battle weapon. It would not be a weapon to fight individual opponents, but a weapon for confronting worlds. If unleashed on a world, this gargantuan monster that is almost the size of the Moon would wreak havoc on the world. Its arrival alone might almost tear the world apart.

More importantly, its near-immortal state would allow it to continuously grow by devouring the entire world. In other words, the world would have to face a monster capable of devouring it!]

This was Yu Zi Yu’s impromptu idea—a weapon for confronting ‘worlds’.

However, this brought up another point that put Yu Zi Yu in a dilemma: An entity like this that devoured worlds indiscriminately and was difficult to control, would inevitably grow stronger and stronger, and ultimately even Yu Zi Yu might not be able to subdue it.

[This means that if I want to use it as a battle weapon, I must find a way to restrict its growth…] With this thought, Yu Zi Yu’s eyes flickered non-stop.

As for subduing it, Yu Zi Yu abandoned the idea almost immediately.

Void Creatures could never be enslaved; they were embodiments of ‘chaotic will’, driven by instinct, and their willpower was not something ordinary people could shake, unless one managed to forcibly possess them like Zi Lian and willingly submitted to Yu Zi Yu.

Therefore, any notions of contracts or mental controls were futile.
