Dragon Monarch System

N0v3lRealm was the platform where this chapter was initially revealed on N0v3l.B1n.

Under everyone’s gaze, the Emperor of the Istarin Empire slowly came out. As the Emperor made his entrance, everyone in the stadium went crazy. The whole stadium was vibrating because of the massive amount of cheers and Applause that Aditya received from the crowd. After all, for more than 95% of the people in the Starlight Coliseum, this was the first time seeing their Emperor. Today, there was no doubt that Aditya looked really handsome. Compared to his usual self, this Aditya was dressed perfectly. Seeing how the crowd reacted Aditya, Julia, and Alicia could not help but smile; feeling proud of their man. Both of them had witnessed just how far Aditya had come. From being an alcohol addict to being the greatest Emperor in the whole world, they had witnessed it all. Aditya began by shaking hands with all the participants. Regardless of who won and lost, these participants have trained really hard and have kept them entertained. They deserve some appreciation. Aditya shook hands with the generals who won. “Congratulations on winning this tournament…..!!!” In the end, Aditya shook hands with Amber. “Thank you, Your Majesty……!!!” Amber slightly blushed looking at Aditya. Aditya was especially looking very handsome today. She could not stop staring at him. Even though there were many other words that Aditya wanted to say to his generals, he couldn’t forget that they were in public. As Aditya prepared to address the crowd, he froze!!!

Amber noticed Aditya’s eyes widening slightly. Around the same time, Riya also felt something and looked up. The next second, under everyone’s confused gazes, the Emperor raised his head and glanced up, towards the sky. This left everyone confused. But as they raised their heads to glance at the sky, they finally understood what was happening. Right above the Starlight Coliseum, a portal was slowly beginning to open. Seeing this everyone was shocked. From the portal, Aditya sensed a familiar Aura. “Watson, activate the Azure City’s Defensive Array…!!!” Aditya shouted loudly. Crimson dragon wings appeared on his back. “You all stay here and protect this city. I will deal with this thing.” Aditya made sure that his words were heard by everyone. Without waiting for anyone, Aditya flew up towards the giant portal. ‘I have to stop it before it crosses the portal.’ With that thought, Aditya hurriedly flew towards the portal.

It was because if they fought here, then the Azure City and the surrounding cities would be completely wrecked. The damages would be irreversible. For this reason, Aditya was willing to do anything and everything in his power to stop this monster from crossing the portal. The portal started with a size of a few meters and began to expand. Everyone could see that the portal was opening up like a huge eye in the sky. At first, it was just a small circle, but it grew bigger and bigger, spreading wide until it stretched over 2000 meters across the heavens. From the ground in Azure City, people stared up in shock and fear. The giant portal looked as if it was going to swallow the whole world.

It spun slowly, with blues and purples mixing together like paint in water. Stars and distant galaxies could be seen in the dark patch in the middle, making it look like a piece of the night sky was stuck in the day. Lightning-like energy crackled around the edges, casting bright flashes that made it hard to look at for too long.

As the portal reached the size of over 2000 meters, it was a terrifying sight. The edges were clear and sharp against the clouds. The blue and purple colors were deep and bright, and they seemed to pulse with power. The center of the portal was so dark, it was like looking into a deep hole that had no end.

People in Azure City couldn’t believe their eyes. They pointed up, their faces pale and their eyes wide. Some screamed, some cried, and some just stood there, as they were too scared to move.

Some felt that this was the end of the world.

They all felt tiny and helpless under the massive portal that hung over them as if at any moment, it could suck up their whole city into the sky.

Meanwhile, Aditya directly invested over [4000+] of his Mana into making a giant Crimson flame ball. The Crimson ball was so massive that it seemed like a second sun had parked itself right above Azure City. This huge ball of Crimson flame stretched 2000 meters wide, a glowing red sphere dominating the sky. The heat it gave off was so intense that even with the city’s Defensive array, everyone felt as if they were standing next to a blazing furnace.

The trees, crops, bugs, grass, and houses outside the city caught fire without the flames even touching them, all because of the awful heat. It was as if the giant Crimson flame ball had a reach far beyond its fiery surface, setting the world ablaze with just its presence.

To the people, the Crimson ball looked like it was ready to crash down upon them. It burned brighter than anything they’d ever seen, a red sun hanging in their world, throwing out tongues of fire like solar flares but without the harmful radiation. Lakes, rivers, and ponds started to dry up as the water turned into steam. People’s sweat didn’t have a chance to cool them down—it disappeared from their skin in seconds.

Staring up at this massive ball of flames, people truly believed it was the end of their world. The sight was terrifying and powerful, a fiery globe that could incinerate their city in an instant if it descended upon them. The sheer power and the ferocious heat had everyone frozen in horror, watching the sky with a mix of awe and dread.

This giant, massive Crimson flame ball could be seen from all corners of the Eastern Region. No matter where people were when they looked up, they saw the red glow coloring the sky. It made everyone feel as if the world could end at any moment. The sight was so scary and unusual that it stopped everyone in their tracks. It was like a warning that something big and dangerous was happening, and it made people’s hearts beat fast with worry.

Just as the Hydra was about to cross through the portal, Aditya hit it with an enormous Crimson flame ball. The Hydra was already prepared for the attack as it was able to see it through the portal. However, the Hydra had seriously underestimated the power of the Crimson Flame Ball. Booooooom…!!!!!

Everyone saw that the enormous Crimson Flame Hall had disappeared. Once everything calmed down, Aditya noticed that the 9-headed Hydra was seriously injured. Its whole body was seriously burned. Its whole body had turned black. However, the Hydra wasn’t dead. If anything, the behemoth looked more angry than ever.

The next second, Aditya saw something that completely shocked him. Suddenly one of the nine heads of the Hydra turned into a golden light. The golden light was absorbed by the rest of its body. As soon as the golden light was absorbed, the Hydra’s injuries rapidly began healing. Its burned skin rapidly changed. It was as if Aditya was seeing a time reversal here. The skin of the Hydra was returning to its original color. ‘What is going on?’ Aditya couldn’t understand what he was seeing here. “This is one of the powers of Hydra.” Aditya found Amelia standing behind him and looking at the 9-Headed Hydra. “This move is known as the Forbidden Sacrifice. The Hydra has the ability to sacrifice one of its heads in exchange for healing. By sacrificing one of its heads, it managed to completely heal.”

“This 9-headed Hydra will not die until it hasn’t sacrificed its 7 remaining heads.” Except for the main Head. “That’s definitely a bad news,” Aditya said out loud. “Well, the good thing is that now that the Hydra has used Forbidden Sacrifice once if it wants to use the same move again, then it is going to cost it two of its heads. If the Hydra wants to use Forbidden Sacrifice for a third time, then it is going to cost it 4 of its heads. In simple words, every time this monster wants to use Forbidden Sacrifice, the cost doubles.” Hearing this Aditya felt slightly bit relieved. At least, there was some hope for them. “So this Hydra can use Forbidden Sacrifice only two more times. To use Forbidden Sacrifice for the 4th time, it would need 8 heads which it does not have.” Aditya was saying this for Amelia’s confirmation since she knew so much about Hydras. “Exactly….!!!” “However, the Hydra won’t use Forbidden Sacrifice unless its Health does not drop dangerously low. Meaning, you will need to kill this Hydra 3 times.” Even Amelia looked worried when saying these words. Aditya did not notice this because he was looking at the Hydra.

She was so nervous, that she was sweating. —————-
