Dragon Monarch System

『Ding!! All of your stats have been increased by 50% for the duration of 15 minutes.』

‘My Soul Blaze skill has evolved into Soul Inferno Ascension when I reached 4th order.’ Aditya purposely stopped and spent almost [1000+] of his Mana just to activate the Soul Inferno Ascension skill. 『 Soul Inferno Ascension 』

『 4th-order Passive skill 』

『 Description 』 – An evolved form of the Soul Blaze skill. This skill does not have any prerequisites for learning. As a passive skill, it enhances the user’s stats significantly after a specific threshold is met.

『 Function 』- Soul Inferno Ascension operates without requiring any mana expenditure from the user. It functions by absorbing a fragment of the soul from enemies defeated by the user. Upon accumulating a sufficient amount of soul energy, this skill boosts the user’s stats by 50% for a duration of 15 minutes. This is an automatic process and does not require any active effort or decision from the user to activate.

Note: To prevent overloading the user’s soul, once Soul Inferno Ascension has been activated, it cannot be used again for a period of 24 hours. This skill is entirely passive and activates on its own without user intervention.』

Without paying any attention to what he had done, Aditya flew towards the man that he was after. –

Scene change_____

“Welcome….!!!” As Aditya lands 20 meters away, Harrison greets him with a smile. “I cannot believe it. I am standing in front of the myth, the legend, and the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. This is like a dream come true.” Harrison says with a casual smile. He wasn’t afraid of Aditya. So what if he was the Dragon Monarch, so what if he was the Emperor of the Istarin Empire, those things did not matter in front of his powers. Once he was done it Aditya, if the Istarin Empire and its allies tried to look for vengeance then he was going to end them as well. “Who are you?” Aditya asked if this was his first time meeting him or if this was their first meeting. He wanted to know what his purpose was. This man was the reason that he returned instead of going back to the Dragon Palace with everyone else.

When he was leaving with his women he felt his cold and hideous aura. “I am Harrison. I am the Vampire King. I am the king of the Red Moon Empire. It’s nice to meet you.” Hearing this Aditya’s frowned. From what he remembered the Red Moon Empire was a very small Empire. The Empire was politically and militarily weak. The Empire was located on the edge of the beast continent. Red Moon Empire used to be one of the strongest forces in the beast continent but all of that changed after the continental war. When the continental war ended the Empire was in decline even though their king managed to survive the war. It was rumored that the king was seriously injured during the continental war which is the reason why the Empire was on decline. The Red Moon Empire is considered a small and weak empire. Some would even argue that this was the weakest empire in the beast continent. In the past nine centuries, the Empire has never fought any wars or had conflicts with any other Empires or Beast clans. “It’s nice to meet you too. I wonder what do you want?” Aditya cautiously asked. “You and I have a bit of history. Do you remember the black wood think that you dag out in Lionrock city?” Harrison asked with a smile. “So that was you?” Aditya asked without changing his expression. “My plan was perfect. Everything should have gone according to my plan but I never expected that you become an unexpected factor in my grand scheme.” If it was someone else in his place then by now Harrison already would have ended his life. But this is Aditya. “I think we have wasted enough time.” The smile on his face disappeared and he became serious. “Now give me the Dragon Grass.” He seriously said. “Why I should do that?” Aditya asked while frowning. This guy was asking for the Dragon Grass as if it was his property. “You know, I really like you as a king and as a genius cultivator. I really admire you and I really respect you.”

“I really wanted to avoid having any conflicts with you since I respect you so much. Even though you have messed up my plan not once, not twice but multiple times, I was still willing to avoid having a conflict with you. But now that you have the Dragon grass, things have changed. My stance towards you also has changed.” “Because of conflict of our interests, we will need to fight. Both of us want the Dragon address for our own interests and benefits. Without the Dragon Grass, I cannot cultivate to a higher order. I will be forever stuck in Peak 5th-order.” Aditya was listening to his words while preparing himself to fight. His intuition was telling him that this guy wasn’t weak. “For this very moment, I have been planning for my long centuries. And I have run out of patience. I refuse to wait for another long century.” Harrison removed the black cloak that he had been wearing this whole time. Beneath his black cloak, he was wearing red full body armor. “Even if I will have to kill you for the Dragon grass I will not show any hesitation while doing it.” He said while taking a step forward while also releasing a trace of killing intent. “As I said earlier this is nothing personal. I only have to do this because of conflicts between our interests.” “Same here…!!! Though once I am done killing you Your empire will pay the price.” Aditya said in a cold tone. Since the other party was seeking a conflict with him, obviously just killing him would not be enough. This whole matter is going to end when he personally conquers the Red Moon empire and then annexes it as a part of his Empire. “Hahaha…..!!!” Harrison laughed out loud. He did not laugh to mock his opponent but rather he laughed because he also had the exact same thoughts in his mind.

“I guess both of us have a similar way of thinking. You could have been a good ally, it’s a shame that you are not on the same side of a coin.” “There is no way that I would ally myself with someone like you.” This guy was very scheming. There was some level of honesty in him that Aditya found admirable but his heart was rotten. He was the type of hypocrite who only did things for himself and for his own interest.

Swoosh….!!!

Crack…!!!

As both of them disappeared, the ground beneath their feet cracked like spider webs because of the strength that they exerted on their legs.

Clang….!!!

The Adamantite Doomblade and the red dagger of the Vampire King clashed, leaving sparks in the air. “Impressive…..!! You are powerful. You deserve the title of the Dragon Monarch.” Harrison said while grinning madly. His killing intent was leaking out uncontrollably. It was as if a dam had been broken and the water in the dam had gushed out uncontrollably.

This killing intent affected everyone in the desert including Eldric. Everyone’s faces turned pale and their bodies started shivering. Sweats rolled down their pale faces. The one who was most affected by the killing intent was Eldric who was closest to them. However, Aditya remained completely unfazed by Harrison’s killing intent. Clang…..!!!

Clang…..!!!

Clang….!!!

Aditya and Harrison exchanged moves for 30 seconds before. After that Aditya started to feel his hands becoming a little bit numb. ‘What a strength this guy has…..!!’ Each time they clashed, Aditya’s arms could feel the shockwave that traveled through his black sword. In the end, his arms were beginning to feel numb. After another 10 seconds, Aditya understood that Harrison wasn’t that skillful in close combat. At least he wasn’t on Aditya’s level. But he is overwhelming strength makes up for his lack of skills. Aditya has fought opponents who were way more skilled in close combat than him. ‘If that’s the case.’ Suddenly, when Harrison attacked Aditya moved one step back and changed the direction of his attack with his sword. This instantly left Aditya with an opening that he was looking for. Bang…!!!

Harrison received a kick in his stomach. The kick forced him to take a few steps back. “Not bad…!!!” Harrison barely felt any pain from this kick. It had been such a long time since he had fought like this with anyone. Harrison was really excited. This whole time he couldn’t stop grinning.

As an experienced cultivator, he quickly understood that given the gap between their skills close combat wasn’t an option. ‘I guess it’s time to spice things up.’ —————-
