———-

In the Southern region of the Beast Continent____

The second strongest Beast King was currently watching everything that was happening in the Beast Continent from her home. She was currently lying on her bed and was watching everything while eating fried chicken and fried chips.

Unlike the previous time, this time, Lady Eleanor did not go to get the Dragon Grass. She had long understood that she won’t be able to get the Dragon Grass given how fierce the competition was. The strongest one always ended up getting the Dragon grass.

Last time while fighting for the dragon Grass, many of her troops died and she ended up wasting so much of her resources. In the end, it wasn’t worth it in her eyes. Besides, she had no real requirement for the Dragon Grass. She wasn’t desperate for this Grass.

“Idiots…..!!!” Lady Eleanor snorted seeing how many died because of the 9 headed Hydra.

Lady Eleanor was really surprised when she saw the 9-headed Hydra appearing out of the dragon. She never imagined that there would be a 9-headed hydra hiding in the desert.

Within such a short time, the Hydra already had taken the lives of more than 20 million. In this, many were magic animals as well.

Lady Eleanor could see that the 5 Beast Kings and their armies waiting slowly retreating. Seeing the fearful looks on their faces, she once again snorted.

“Arrogant fools…..!!! These guys thought that the world was under their feet just because they have allied themselves.” Lady Eleanor said in a cold tone.

This was the main reason why she did not join their pathetic alliance.

“It would be better if these fools died in the desert and never returned.” If the 5 Beast Kings died, then Lady Eleanor would gain many benefits. Without the Beast Kings, their clans would become weak and she would be able to expand her territory and her clan could become even stronger.

‘Still, I never expected the Istarin Emperor to be this fast and smart.’ Lady Eleanor stopped eating for a second and thought.

‘Instead of bringing his army to fight for the Dragon grass, he came to the desert with 3 powerful women. With the Goddess of Nature’s help, he found out exactly where the Dragon Grass was going to appear and then took the Dragon Grass before anyone could even have the chance to fight for it. And not only that before anyone could stop him, he mysteriously disappeared. Not even the 9-headed Hydra was able to stop it…..!!’

‘From the beginning, he had no plans of fighting or involving his army in this.’ Lady Eleanor found this really smart. The Istarin Empire gained the Dragon Grass without having any casualties.

Unlike other Emperors who sent their troops and their generals to get the Dragon Grass for them, the Dragon Monarch casually came and took away the Dragon Grass. Lady Eleanor found this really admirable.

Which emperor would have the guts to come and take the Dragon Grass in front of 300 million cultivators and just leave?

Lady Eleanor continued to observe the changes taking place in the desert.

She suddenly stopped eating when she saw a man in a black cloak approaching the retreating 5 beast kings and their army.

“Who is he?” Lady Eleanor could not recognize who this man was.

Scene change_____

“Who are you?” Asked the 4th strongest Beast King, Andrew.

The man did not speak.

“How dare you block our paths?” Asked the 6th strongest Beast King, Ethan.

Now that the Hydra had left, everyone was able to relax. While other Empires were still busy fighting the mindless Magic Animals, by now almost everyone was on their way to leave. Their purpose in the Beast Continent was finished. There was no reason to stay here.

With similar thoughts, the Beast Kings were also retreating.

The mysterious man’s face was hidden under a black cloak. “Eldric Thornehart, I am sure you remember me…” The man asked with a smile. His eyes dangerously glowed in red.

Eldric frowned at hearing this. “This tone…..!! It can’t be…” Eldric remembered who this mysterious man was. How can he not remember this person?

In the Continental War, this Man and his army were considered one of the strongest. At that time, everyone feared this man.

But after the continental war, this Man and his Empire became really quiet. They did not provoke anyone for centuries. This man did not fight for the Dragon Grass in all of these years.

Eldric thought that this man and his army wouldn’t come to fight for the Dragon Grass given that in the previous 8 to 9 times the Dragon Grass appeared he never took part in fighting for the Dragon Grass.

Although it nearly has been 1000 thousand years since the continental war, Eldric Thornehart has never forgotten what this man in front of him was capable of.

“What do you want?” Eldric asked with a dark face.

Since the other Beast Kings are way younger compared to Eldric, they don’t know much about the Vampire King and what things he had done in the past. Only Eleanor and Eldric remembered the fear that the Vampire King’s name put in people’s hearts.

“Why are you acting as if you don’t know what I want?” Removing the hood that was covering his face, the Vampire King asked Eldric with a smile.

The Vampire King slowly walked with his hands on his back.

“Do I want revenge for the death of my wife? No…..!!”

“Do I want revenge from you because you were my and Eleanor were my enemies during the Continental War? No…..!!!”

“Do I want revenge from you because you ended many Beast-

clans in the Continental War? No…!!”

“See it’s not about revenge!!! What I want is all of your lives. The original king has returned and the fake Kings of the Beast Continent now has to die.” Hearing this Eldric, John, and other Beast King’s expressions changed.

Eldric became serious. He frowned upon hearing the Vampire King’s words.

John on the other hand felt that this weak king was being too arrogant. ‘Calling us Fake Kings….!!! Who does he think he is…?’ John arrogantly thought in his mind.

Others also did not like the fact that they were called Fake Kings. The Vampire King’s words had hurt their pride.

The Vampire King is a young handsome-looking man. He had grey hair. His body was skinny and he was wearing a black suit under that cloak.

He had red eyes that seemed to glow. He was 5 feet 9 inches tall.

This ordinary and slightly handsome-looking young man was the Vampire King. He was a 1000+ years old ghost.

This young man had played a big and important role in the Continental War. In that war, this young man alone has killed several millions of innocent Beast-kins just for the sake of knowing where the World Treasure was.

“Eldric, do you know where the World Treasure is?” Harrison asked in a deep tone. He still had a small smile on the corner of his mouth.

Meanwhile hearing his question, Eldric frowned. The World Treasure is what started the Continental War in the Beast Continent. The continental war had killed half a billion beast-kin people. 1/3 of the entire Beast continent’s population was wiped out in that war.

Although the war happened 9 centuries ago, Eldric still clearly remembers every single detail from that time.

At that time, the World Treasure kept changing hand after hand. Everyone was after the World Treasure.

How can they not want the World Treasure? This treasure was created by the Mana of this world. Whoever had this treasure would stand at the very top of this world.

At that time, Eldric also had tried to take the World Treasure. For this reason, he even joined hands with many other forces. There were no friends or enemies. Everyone was fighting for the World Treasure.

But one day, the World Treasure simply vanished. No matter how they looked, the world’s treasure wasn’t found again.

Harrison was seriously injured while pursuing the World Treasure. From what Eldric remembers, a group of powerful Peak 5th-order Dark Mages put a really powerful curse on Harrison which caused his strength to decline and also prevented him from ever breaking into higher orders.

After the war, Eldric did heard rumors about Harrison madly looking for a way to lift that curse. But after some time, those rumors died down. And since then Eldric never has heard anything about Harrison recovering his strength or anything related to that ever again.

“What are you trying to say, Harrison?” Eldric frowned and asked.

“Hahaha….!!! Over the years most of my enemies have either mysteriously died or have been destroyed. But I still have one more enemy left.”

Harrison’s eyes dangerously began glowing in red as he started walking towards Eldric. “Today I’m going to end the person who initially gave the idea to put that curse on me.”

Hearing this Eldric’s face turned pale. He took a step back in fear. Drops of sweat began rolling down his face. His heartbeat quickened upon hearing his words.

“Did you really think that I wouldn’t know about this?” Harrison asked Eldric in a cold tone.

“I have known about this for nine long centuries. Why do you think that you’re still alive?” Unknown to Eldric, drops of blood slowly began to float within 500 meters range of Harrison. At first no one noticed this strange phenomenon.

“I have purposefully let you live for this long so that you can see as I ascend to the top once again. The rightful King will finally sit on his Throne and you’re going to be a witness of everything.” For some reason Eldric felt his heart suddenly beating irregularly. He felt his whole body burning from inside.

“He should be on his way here. So I am going to let you watch everything that I am going to do today and then I will kill you.” Harrison stood just a few meters away from Eldric.

Eldric’s face was frozen in fear. He couldn’t move. His whole body was shaking.

“Hmph….!!! Who do you think you’re? Disrespecting Lord Eldric like that…!!!” It was John who arrogantly stepped forward.

Following John’s lead other Beast Kings except for Eldric also stepped forward.

“Oh…..!!! I wonder what are you going to do?” There was no trace of anger or frustration in his voice. He simply sounded curious. His tone was still deep.

Before John could reply, suddenly the bodies of other Beast Kings except for Eldric exploded into like water balloons. Their bodies exploded into a bloody mist.

Booom…..!!!

John had a horrified look as his whole body was covered in the blood of other Beast Kings. Drops of their blood rolled down from his cheeks.

John did not move. But his legs were shaking violently. ‘What just happened?’
