623 Chapter 623:- The Dragon Grass [III]; Chase

“Something is preventing me from leaving this desert,” Aditya said with a surprised expression. Before he had put his bets on teleporting back to the Dragon Palace even before the fight could begin. He hadn’t calculated this scenario. If he had known that he was going to fight then he would have made preparations in the last month.

‘Dammit…!!! This time, it’s totally my fault…..!!!’ Aditya took the blame for his miscalculations.

This situation just went on to show that not everything in this world will go according to his calculations. Unexpected things can happen and can happen at any given moment.

Roar….!!!!

Around that time, the giant magic animals finally broke out of the ground. As it forcefully came out of the ground, everything around 2000 meters collapsed instantly.

However, before the ground beneath Aditya and his women could collapse, he instantly disappeared from everyone’s view. Seeing this once again everyone was super shocked.

As the body of the magic monster rose, it also took out thousands upon thousands of magic monsters, soldiers, and cultivators that were in 2000 meters range. Many of them instantly died from this while many many survived because of their high cultivator power.

At the same time, a giant 2000-meter hole in the ground. The hole was extremely large. Looking inside that hole, everyone could see a horde of magic animals hiding in the ground. And all of these magic animals looked extremely angry.

These magic animals were slowly flying out or walking out of the hole. In the process, they were attacking everything in front of them.

All of these magic animals had gathered here today for one and only one purpose. And that is to get the Dragon Grass. Although the chances of them actually getting the Dragon Grass were not even 1%, all of these powerful magic animals had gathered here just for the Dragon Grass.

ROAR….!!!!

“Captain, what should we do?” The troops from a certain Empire asked the general whose face had also turned pale seeing such a large army of magic animals. And given how these v were mindlessly attacking anyone in front of their own eyes, he knew that it was impossible for him and his army to avoid this fight. They won’t be able to outrun the magic animals. So fighting was their only option.

“We will fight to death…..!!!”

“But sire, what about the Dragon Grass? That young man took it with him and has completely disappeared?” One of the soldiers asked.

But hearing this other soldiers glared at the soldier who spoke just now. They were currently being attacked by a horde of powerful magic animals yet this guy was worrying about the Dragon Grass.

Some of the soldiers even wanted to slap some senses in this soldier’s brain.

In other parts of the desert. “Go after that man with his women. He has the Dragon Grass. We cannot let him escape. I will lead the army here.”

“Go after that man….!!!”

“I will handle everything here. Stop that man from fleeing….!!!” Someone said in a panicked tone. After all, given the speed of this young man, it won’t be long before he completely exits the Graveyard of Sand Dunes desert. Once that happens, then the Dragon Grass is lost for another 100 years. They would need to wait another 100 years for this.

“Take care of everything here…..!!!!” A dark voice was heard somewhere in the Graveyard of Sand Dunes desert before a black figure flew in Aditya’s direction.

“Just who is he?” Many in the desert wondered who this young man was. But they did not recognize who this young man was. This was normal since most of them had never met the Emperor of the Istarin Empire. But only very few managed to recognize him.

Even the ones who were secretly watching everything unfolding in The Graveyard of Sand Dunes did not recognize Aditya.

Meanwhile,

Aditya had used Crimson Wrap flash to teleport to more than 7 km away. Clearly teleporting with other persons wasn’t easy as he felt he had lost quite a bit of his Mana. But given how much Mana he had, this much consumption was nothing.

“Are you alright?” Aditya worriedly asked. Fortunately, Riya, Sasha, and Lilith were completely alright. For them, although they weren’t used to this they quickly got used to it because of their physiques as powerful 5th-order cultivators. Lower-order cultivators might have taken more time to adapt themselves to this. While normal normal humans might have vomitted by now.

“What just happened?” Lilith asked in a concerned tone. Usually, Lilith would joke in such situations but this time, the situation was very serious. She had no time for joking. Their lives were at stake.

“I don’t know. Something is stopping me from using a special teleportation skill that allows me to return back to the Dragon Palace whenever I want regardless of how far I am from the Dragon Palace. But I can use my other teleportation skill to teleport inside the Graveyard of Sand Dunes desert.”

Aditya widened his eyes, seeing a giant magic animal heading in his direction. It wasn’t just the powerful giant magic animal that was heading in his direction, but also a countless number of powerful cultivators. Each of them were 5th-order cultivators.

“Let’s get out of this desert….!!!!” Sasha could not even finish when they once again disappeared.

Fortunately in this situation, Aditya hadn’t got off their hands.

“Dammit…!!! They disappeared once again…..!!!” A few Peak 5th order cultivators arrived in Aditya’s place just when they disappeared in thin air.

“They are just too fast!!!”

“At this rate, we will never catch him…!!!”

While all the cultivators were looking for Aditya, the giant magic animal also appeared but finding that the target was long gone, it let out another powerful roar.

ROAR…!!!!

The roar of this monster was so strong that even the Peak 5th-

order cultivators near it were blown away.

Cough…..!!!

A Peak 5th-order cultivator coughed out a mouthful of blood. Just the loud roar of this monster was enough to make him cough out blood like a dying cancer patient. This made him just how powerful this monster was.

“Dammit…..!!! Cough….!! Cough…!!!”

“What kind of monster is this…..?” Many did not Recognise what kind of monster this was.

“I don’t know…!!!” Before everyone was preoccupied while chasing after Aditya but now their eyes had finally fallen on the gigantic monster that came out of the ground. If Aditya wasn’t a second faster, then this monster would have consumed the Dragon Grass even before anyone could have the chance to get it for themselves.

Whitfrost – capital city of Ethereal empire,

Alicia’s whole family was currently watching everything with the help of Transmission Artifact.

The whole family felt their heart nearly stopping when a giant mouth came out of the ground.

“Hubby, what kind of monster this is? I have never seen anything like this.” Lily, Noah’s wife hugged her husband’s right arm and asked in a frightened tone. Lily had never seen something so giant and scary-looking in her life.

“Father, what kind of monster is this?” Alicia’s brother Noah asked Ronnie.

Ronnie looked at this monster that was on the fly for a few seconds. “I don’t know. But I remember seeing a blurred drawing of this monster in a book that I read when I was really young.” Ronnie said with a serious look.

The whole family looked really serious and worried. Everyone was really worried about Aditya.

“It’s a Hydra….!!!” The one who answered this question was Alicia’s grandmother, Olivia.

“Hydra…!!! What’s that?” Alicia’s biological mother Bianca asked while staring at the screen before them. She was relieved to see that Aditya had managed to run away.

Even though they all knew that Aditya was really strong. He was the strongest cultivator on all 6 continents, but there is no way even he would be able to take on so many cultivators at once.

The number already had exceeded 300 million. If it was 1 million or 5 million, then they wouldn’t have been worried as this number this manageable for someone like Aditya. Even if the number was 30 million or 50 million, even then there were some chances for him to win. But 300 million is just too much even for the Dragon Monarch.

“Although I have never seen a Hydra before, but there is no mistaking it. This is a Hydra.” Olivia never thought she would even see one in her lifetime.

Hydras are so rare and mythical that the majority of the population does not even know the existence of this monster. The ones who only know about this monster think that this monster is nothing but a myth, a fictional monster created for children’s story books.

The storybooks that Ronnie read when he was young had tales of Hydras in them. But growing up even though he eventually forgot the name of this monster he still remembers the blurry drawings that outline the many heads of Hydra.

“Hydras are the most powerful variation of snakes. This Hydra has 9 heads. This means this is one of the most powerful types of Hydras. Just like how the number of tails represents how powerful a Kitsune is, the number of heads also symbolizes just how powerful a Hydra really is.”

“9-headed Hydras are said to be a sign of an impending doom. Hydras themselves are a sign of a huge calamity. While this one is 9-headed Hydras. I am not even sure what kind of dark age we are about to go through in the near future.” Olivia said in a worried tone.

Since ancient times it has been proven that whenever a hydra has appeared in this world, a Continental level catastrophic event has occurred in this world. A Hydra appeared just a few years before the invasion from the demons.

Aside from what Hydras symbolizes, a Hydra itself is a huge threat to the continent. And the fact that a Hydra that is over 2000 meters in size managed to keep itself completely hidden from 300 million cultivators was enough to show just how powerful this Hydra really was.

“The special thing about a Hydra is that if one of its heads is cut off, the head can grow back within a few seconds. This makes the Hydra extremely hard to defeat. Not to mention this is a 9-

headed Hydra, I am not even sure if this monster could be defeated.” Olivia said in a really worried tone.

Ronnie looked at his mother. Since growing up, he had never seen his mother looking this tense. But now his mother’s hands were slightly shaking. And her face looked slightly pale.

In the Celestial Terrain_____

Amelia could be seen walking back and forth while staring at the screen. The moment she saw the 9-headed Hydra, Amelia felt her heart-stopping.

‘Who would have expected that the Beast Continent has been hiding a 9-headed Hydra? I thought that all Hydras had long gone extinct from this world around millions of years back.’ Amelia thought.

‘But the real question is who could stop this monster…!!!’

‘Even if I used my full powers to fight it, I doubt I would be able to lower his health point even by one percent.’ The most annoying thing when fighting a Hydra was its ridiculously strong regenerative powers. The more heads a Hydra has, the more stronger its’ regenerative powers will be. And since this was a 9-headed Hydra, even Amelia could not estimate just how powerful the regenerative powers of the Hydra were going to be.

‘Maybe, killing this Hydra is absolutely impossible.’ A 7-headed Hydra would take around 10 seconds to heal even if its body is cut in half. But this was a 9 headed Hydra.

‘I have to tell Aditya to get out of that desert as soon as possible.’ Amelia was pacing back and forth. One time she was thinking of going to the desert to help Aditya and her daughter out. But other times, she held herself back deciding to observe the situation.

Amelia was feeling restless.

She never has felt this restless and tense in her life before.

Right now, the two most important people in her life were in danger.
