Divine Emperor of Death

Chapter 2437 Elliaʼs Progress

Davisʼs expression was blank. The more he heard from Elliaʼs mouth, the more the reputation of Aurora Cloud Gate preceded everything else in his mind. With Saintess Lunaria and the other six Guardians, wouldnʼt it be the strongest force in the First Haven World?

And yet, this information wasnʼt public or well spread, all because most of them were Divergents and preferred to live in a secluded manner all year long?

It was not only the higher-ups, but the Aurora Cloud Gate was also said to be low-key, rarely taking part in world events.

In their power that happened to own an entire Domain to themselves, consisting of many Prefectures, they mostly never felt the need to leave unless the resource they sought was somewhere else.

But when they were active, he also knew that they would bring about many changes in the world, like how the Blue Luan Immortal went ahead and offended the Fire Phoenix Clan, and yet, it didnʼt seem to be a major controversy as Mistress Zahara representing the Fire Phoenix Clan was willing to join it.

At least, that was what he had heard about the Aurora Cloud Gate so far.

From this, he could also see that the Aurora Cloud Gate held peace and stability foremost.

”Divergents or not. All the Aurora Cloud Gate requires for its strong disciples is not to be aligned with evil tendencies. In that case, we both pass, my prince. Come, Iʼll recommend you into Aurora Cloud Gate, and weʼll go get your loved ones here as well.”

Ellia came closer and held his hand, her voice sincere. It could be seen that she wanted him to join her power.

”You… are you both Saintess Lunariaʼs disciples then?” Davisʼs voice had some doubt.

It caused Ellia to giggle.

”Well, Iʼm not worthy as I lack the physique, but Saintess Lunaria still made an exception and made me an in-name disciple. Although it doesnʼt hold as much weight as a personal disciple, it still has the edge over core disciples and sometimes even true disciples and elders.”

Davis nodded, ”So since you got your own body and separated your soul, your prowess dropped?”

”Yes. I have a Heaven Immortal Vessel and a Heaven Immortal Vessel, courtesy of my master, who gifted me the resources to make them since I lack the physique to innately gain those vessels. My Supreme Immortal Runes, Crest, and Sigils allowed me to have some greater prowess. In total, I can battle five or six levels above me at the most. In short, Iʼm slightly above what the people would deem a heavenly genius.”

Davisʼs expression didnʼt turn happier at Ellia sounding happy. Instead, it was solemn. The fact that Ellia did not have the Eternal Life Soul Physique meant that…

”Can you still use life and death energy?”

To his grave question, Ellia became taken aback, her bright smile leaving her face. She pursed her lips before shaking her head lightly.

”The process of soul separation was just too risky. I couldʼve lost my life if anything went wrong, so I could take only one element out of my parentʼs soul physique. I chose life and retained its comprehension. I want to support you as I did before, my prince.”

”…”

Davis went momentarily at a loss for words, becoming moved. He had already asked Ellia to marry him once when she had gone through painstaking lengths to make the Supreme Ebbing Sigil Pill and gift him the beginning for his current soul superiority. His current self didnʼt have many reservations about this woman who was once his young personal maid, wanting to completely make her his, so her words were only a tacit approval to his proposal.

She wanted to live with him forever.

”I also have a selfish request. I donʼt want to abandon elder sister like this… she… sheʼs too fragile. That was why she had closed her heart, but you… I know you bonded with her even if that bond may be as brittle as a deteriorated web… so can I please look after her when I get the chance…?”

Elliaʼs voice was soft and imploring as possible, causing Davis to scoff, ”What are you saying? I know Myria, and you are quite literally the same person. Moreover, you sometimes call her mother, sometimes call her elder sister. If I canʼt tell that sheʼs a very important person in your life, I should probably stop courting you.”

”Moreover, even if it werenʼt for you, my fate is tied with her since I made an enemy out of that Fraser Herrion she likes to curse. Therefore, my only option is to work together with Myria and bring an end to this madness and free her of these flies as an end result.”

”Davis…” Elliaʼs eyes teared up as she bit her lips.

She knew that he had bonded slightly with Myria, but she was moved as he cared about that fragile soul as much as she did, although he made it seem like he was dragged into it.

”My prince is the best!”

She jumped and pounced at him, once again embracing him as she kissed him on his cheek as the veil lifted, revealing her gorgeous face.

*Chu!~*

She even made an adorable kissing sound while doing so, causing Davis to be taken aback before he wrapped his arm around her thin and soft waist.

”Ellia, you think you can get away with arousing me?”

”…” Elliaʼs gaze shook. However, she didnʼt shy away, her lovely black eyes narrowing as she leaned and kissed him on his cheek once again, her luscious lips moving.

”Iʼm willing~”

”…” This time, it was Davis who was stumped, not expecting a quick answer, ”Are you sure that nothing could go wrong with your new body?”

”Absolutely not. Myria and I were in a time chamber when creating this new body. It took ten years for this body to be nurtured from the splitting of soul, so it is as perfect as it could be, so much so that you could even consider me Myriaʼs body avatar, except it isnʼt as itʼs my soulʼs true body.”

Davisʼs brows raised. He was astonished to say the least, but what kind of number was that? It had been nothing more than a month since he came to the First Haven World, but Myria and Ellia had already spent around ten years in a time chamber.

It was faster than the temporal formation he possessed, causing him to laugh that the Aurora Cloud Gate sure was rich and bountiful. However, he also thought that this kind of resource could only be obtained by true disciples or that kind of people when considering the usage and expenditure of the temporal formation.

Saintess Lunaria sure did look after her new disciples with care.

The fact that Myria shouldʼve also experienced an Annihilative Immortal Tribulation when crossing didnʼt seem to be spread as it was for him, meaning that it was concealed within the confines of the Domain. He couldnʼt help but ask Ellia about it, and her answer was frustrating to hear.

”Oh, yes~ We traveled to a mountain peak secretly called the Divergent Peak to have our immortal tribulations. It is far beyond what the people of this world could see or sense, and the Divergents registered within the sect usually go through their tribulations there. I faced a powerful Destructive Immortal Tribulation there, and Myria went through an Annihilative Immortal Tribulation with six paragon beasts. What about you, my prince?”

”…” Davisʼs expression was blank.

Maybe he shouldʼve waited till he got here to undergo his Immortal Tribulation. What a scam. Now everyone knew that there was an Anarchic Divergent that was born in the Zyrus Family Prefecture.

Davis couldnʼt help but clench his teeth as he answered annoyingly, ”All twelve paragon magical beasts...”

”…!” Elliaʼs expression trembled, lips parting wide in shock.

Twelve paragon magical beasts? As she recalled how Myria almost died to the six paragon magical beasts, her eyes couldnʼt help but tear up.

”As expected of my man!”

She pounced on him, raining kisses on his cheek with passionate and prideful emotions when their lips slightly brushed.

Davis took that window of opportunity to hold Ellia in place as he grasped her nape, his fingers brushing her silky black hair as he pressed her face towards his lips. Their softness met as their lips pressed together, and he thoroughly devoured her essence as they shared a bountiful kiss, causing Elliaʼs cheeks to turn into a considerable shade of red as they spread to her ears.

”Mh~ mm~”

She squinted her eyes, joyful tears flowing down her face as she took part in sharing her love with him, the affection that she held in her heart finally becoming unbound and reciprocated.
