Destined Entwining: Capturing My Devoted Beau

Chapter 146: Chapter 91: Everyone Loves a Handsome Guy (Second Update)

But today, because she arrived early, she indeed has two hours of spare time.

She originally wanted to look at last quarter’s financial report, but now seeing a journalism student from Yen University wanting to interview her, she became interested and said with a smile, ”Are you really a student from Yen University’s journalism department? Have you checked their credentials?”

The CEO’s secretary thought since the front desk lady specifically came to ask, they must have checked.

As the CEO’s secretary, he cannot show a state of ”not knowing” or ”uncertainty” when the CEO asks him questions, because that would cause the CEO to doubt his work capability.

At all times, he maintains a confident demeanor.

Therefore, when Su Changfeng asked him whether the credentials were checked, he immediately replied with a smile, ”Of course they were checked, otherwise how would I report this to you?”

Su Changfeng nodded, ”Then let him in, but make sure it’s only fifteen minutes.”

”No problem!” The CEO’s secretary quickly nodded, ”I’ll go bring him in.”

After the CEO’s secretary went out, he said to the front desk lady waiting at the door, ”The CEO said there’s exactly fifteen minutes free, let him come quickly, the CEO has a meeting later.”

”Okay, I’ll go right away.” The front desk lady was also very happy, feeling very satisfied with today’s decision.

She not only obtained a good publicity opportunity for the CEO but also gained favorability points in front of the CEO and the CEO’s secretary.

The front desk lady jogged out and said to Blake Leaf waiting at the reception, ”Mr. Blake, please follow me, our CEO happens to have a fifteen-minute slot.”

Blake Leaf quietly let out a breath of relief, although his heart was pounding, on the surface he remained calm and composed, following the front desk lady inside.

This company, occupying half a floor on the eighth level, has a somewhat cramped layout inside.

Layer after layer of walls divide the inside into many different areas.

Su Changfeng’s CEO office is at the very end of the corridor.

The front desk lady led Blake Leaf to the door of the CEO’s office and said to the CEO’s secretary, ”This is Blake Leaf, a student from Yen University’s journalism department. He is here to interview our CEO.”

The CEO’s secretary shook hands enthusiastically with Blake Leaf, ”Blake Leaf, right? Pleasure to meet you! By the way, who’s your professor at Yen University? I have a good friend who’s also a graduate of Yen University’s journalism department!”

Blake Leaf calmly mentioned the name of a famous professor from Yen University’s journalism department.

This kind of professor is very high in status and, under normal circumstances, no one could ask him if he has a student named Blake Leaf...

The CEO’s secretary, upon hearing the name of this Yen University professor, can’t help but bow his waist a little.

That is a renowned figure in the journalism field, if he can establish a connection with such a person, future public relations costs could be saved a lot, but the news that can be reached would be a higher grade!

The CEO’s secretary almost respectfully ushered Blake Leaf into Su Changfeng’s CEO office.

As soon as Blake Leaf entered, before he could take in the luxurious decor of the office, his eyes were firmly attracted by the middle-aged woman sitting behind a huge desk.

According to the household registration information he found, this woman should be in her forties, but she maintains herself very well, so looking at her, she appears, at most, in her thirties.

Her fashionable short hair dyed chestnut color adds a youthful effect.

She wore an ash-gray suit that Blake Leaf couldn’t determine the brand, it just seemed very well-fitting, low-key yet subtly luxurious.

And then there’s the woman’s appearance.

Her features are very pronounced and, like Blake Leaf, have a somewhat western look.

When she looked up and made eye contact with Blake Leaf, his heart skipped a beat, feeling an inexplicable familiarity.

Clearly, looking at their features closely, they don’t resemble much, but there’s a similar aura.

When they both looked up and gazed at each other, even the CEO’s secretary nearby sensed that similarity.

He laughed and said, ”Who would have thought Blake looks a bit like our CEO... Hahaha... Truly a coincidence! Truly a coincidence!”

Su Changfeng and Blake both laughed simultaneously.

From the first sight of Blake, Su Changfeng felt a sort of inexplicable fondness for him.

It wasn’t until she heard the secretary’s comment that she understood why.

It turns out, they appeared somewhat alike.

No wonder.

Most people feel a sense of affinity when they meet strangers who have similar looks or vibes, because this is determined by human nature’s narcissism.

This admiration is actually towards oneself, and has little to do with the stranger.

Blake Leaf also felt an increasing sense of familiarity with Su Changfeng.

He couldn’t help but glance at the CEO’s secretary.

The secretary understood and quickly said, ”I’ll let you two chat first, I’ll go prepare some snacks and tea.”

He said as he walked out, casually closing the heavy soundproof oak door.

Su Changfeng walked out from behind the large desk and warmly extended her hand to Blake Leaf, ”Hello, I am Su Changfeng, the CEO of Ride Wind Real Estate Ltd.”

Blake Leaf’s palms were sweating with excitement.

He quickly spread his right hand in his pocket to dry it off before taking it out to shake hands with Su Changfeng, ”CEO Su, pleasure to meet you.”

”Have a seat, I actually have quite a flexible schedule today. If fifteen minutes isn’t enough, I can give you more time.” Su Changfeng increasingly liked this Yen University student named Blake Leaf.

Generally, everyone loves to see a handsome man, and if he’s a handsome guy from a prestigious university, who also shares a similar aura with oneself, then the fondness takes on a geometric growth.

Blake Leaf didn’t expect Su Changfeng to be so approachable in person.

He felt a bit awkward as he sat down on the sofa she directed, pretending to take out his phone to start recording while saying, ”CEO Su, thank you for taking the time to do the interview with me. Do you mind if I record our interview?”

”It’s fine, you’re too polite. I am a businesswoman who strongly believes in harmonious wealth. Ask whatever questions you like. As long as it doesn’t involve trade secrets, I’ll tell you everything.” Su Changfeng replied readily.
