Beneath the Red Dragon

Terrifying fissures opened within the layers of this domain, from which the Fire Elemental Plane overflowed with boiling sulfur fumes and surging lava flames.

Yet under the violent extraction by the Ancestral Red Dragon, the elemental power in vast areas of these elemental planes began to deplete massively, visibly thinning.

What flowed from the Fire Elemental Plane was no longer a torrent of lava and flames, but streams nearing exhaustion.

Thus, the elemental magic power deeper within the Fire Elemental Plane began to be stirred, absorbed, and extracted by a terrifying will, inexhaustibly.

The Fire Element Duke’s anxious figure watched from afar in the depths of the plane, yet remained silent.

The torrent of magical elements surging within the heavy domains visibly slowed, then in the next moment, surged again like a raging tide.

Karon Gogomola’s breath never ceased, the piercing light that reached across the sky and earth unwavering, with immense energy gradually melting the protective throat bone of Karon, starting to flow with drops of blood-like metallic liquid.

The endless smoke and sulfur scent permeated between the fangs of the Ancestral Red Dragon, like a dense fog in front of the sun, that destruction breath seemed to spew out from the abyssal rift.

Even the body of the Ancestral Red Dragon began to nearly melt under such intense output.

Karon’s will and power seemed endless, yet the naturally formidable body of the giant dragon had its limits.

Compared to the will and power of the Ancestral Red Dragon, even under the protection of a sub-divine artifact, the Divine-favored Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson appeared particularly insignificant.

In Erikson’s terrified pupils, the shield like platinum scales began to slowly soften in the breath that pierced the heavens and earth, with drops of liquid starting to fall.

This sound was incredibly faint, yet to Erikson, it resounded in his heart like a death knell.

Crack!

The next second, the scorching breath of disintegration and destruction rushed in, reducing the roar and divine breath of the Divine-favored Ancestral Golden Dragon Erikson to nothingness, turning flesh and blood to ash.

The Adult Silver Dragon hidden behind Erikson’s body also had its scales dissolve and flesh wither in this instant.

The waves of blazing destruction gradually subsided, yet imparted endless pain of dissolution and disintegration to these last two surviving giant dragons.

Until these legendary dragons and Titans consumed all their power of origin, unable to revive their bodies, leaving only residual soul wails and roars within the divine bones.

Until Karon Gogomola’s throat bone completely melted, scattering scorching destruction around him, did this terrifying giant dragon finally halt its breath.

Even the endless seawater from the deep ocean had to undergo a long journey before beginning to surge into this sea area completely evaporated by the Ancestral Red Dragon, igniting mountains and boiling the sea, right before one’s eyes.

The surging magical power around Karon Gogomola’s heavy domains quieted, with the weave of magic power manifesting densely complex runes, healing the organs around the Ancestral Red Dragon’s throat bone.

Two dragon hearts ensconced in energy protection layers resembling scales also quieted, their rapid beating finally calming to peace, pumping out the dragon’s true blood in one last fierce beat, causing Karon’s throat bone to rapidly grow.

The sky no longer dazzled, allowing other creatures to open their eyes.

Dong,

Karon’s massive and ferocious body tread the skies, its burning wings like evening fiery clouds, every step its powerful limbs and claws took on the sky seemed to resonate with a thundering drum, resounding continually.

His massive eyes, like the lava blood pool settled for thousands of eons in the deepest Abyssal Hell, gleamed with two dark golden wheels of light.

The projections of all living beings’ forms behind Karon’s head appeared like layers of illusory rings of light, projecting simultaneously with the sight of the Ancestral Red Dragon onto the carrion in the high sky.

The massive carrion still exuded a formidable aura, belonging to the two most formidable near-divine species in this mortal world.

Even at the brink of exhaustion and extinction, there remained an unattainable majesty for mortal beings.

Sensing the approach of the Ancestral Red Dragon, these remains burst with one last origin power, staining the white jade-like divine bones with patches of blood, strands of nerves, and flesh threads.

These bloodstains, nerves, and flesh threads began extracting the surging magical element energy to swiftly regrow and strengthen, to restore their bodies anew.

Karon Gogomola’s face no longer contorted, but grew indifferent.

He emitted no profound roar, just uttered softly yet clearly echoing through the heavens and earth, he said: ”Ants!”

”You regard other dragons, other races, and other creatures as ants, but before me, are you truly stronger and nobler than ants?”

He turned his head, querying in confusion: ”How dare you! How dare you not fear me, how dare you not tremble before me, how dare you not be terrified by me,”

”With such fragile will and power?”

This indifferent voice echoed across the sky, as if transmitted straight down from the heavens, then resonated complexly between the earth and sky.

No one could answer the Ancestral Red Dragon’s question, for those who could answer were striving to survive.

King of Dark Elves Anudale watched this, and coldly laughed.
