Beneath the Red Dragon

The Mage Tower high above is already bustling.

With the expansion of Space Skill, the interior of the Mage Tower is divided into several areas, everywhere are the hurried figures of Observatory inspectors and their urgent yet precise voices.

”The central brain has already received full authorization from Thunder Lord, Imperial Governor Lord Doss. Observatory Zero Mage Tower is about to fully interface with the Imperial Domain permissions,”

The model of Dune World’s human computer, the low-permission, high-intelligence trial main brain, transformed by Magic, transmitted the voice of the brain’s controller.

”Once the central brain finishes broadcasting the notice, it will immediately activate the energy core to fully operate all functionalities of Observatory Zero Mage Tower. Each department, please take note, immediately take your positions and go all out!”

The steady voice echoed through the Magic Rune Chain of the Mage Tower, resounding in every isolated space.

”All departments received, connecting to the Imperial Domain...”

Amidst the resounding firm responses, the Mage Tower standing high began to slowly descend until it landed at the lowest point of the sky orbit.

The color on the outer surface of the Mage Tower nearly stabilized immediately, the color of the Mage Tower without energy supply reflected only the natural optical changes of Magic Materials Science.

Buzz, buzz, buzz.

With a powerful vibrating hum, the entire Mage Tower appeared to suddenly come alive, the energy fully activated.

Energy chains of various colors intertwined and encircled, running along the walls and underground of the Mage Tower’s internal space in different directions. In the center of this surveillance area, were scenes of Magic Projection Screens flickering with a glow.

These Magic Projection Screens displayed columnar energy markers of various colors, tools used to monitor the unusual energy fluctuation responses in the Royal Capital.

At this moment, beside these Magic Projection Screens, emerged numerous new projection images, numbering over a hundred.

Under the energy transmission of the Mage Tower’s maximum power, these projection images were vividly detailed, revealing every major distribution area in the administrative zones of the vast city of the Royal Capital.

The sixteen administrative zones of the Royal Capital, expanding in a circular region from the Imperial Central Plaza as the midpoint, with other zones formed as irregular long rectangular blocks divided by the thirty-six main avenues intersecting through the city.

Among these, the figures of the citizens of the Golden Empire fleeing and resisting unitedly, and the frenzied beasts of the Dragons roaring, chasing, hunting, and slaughtering, all appeared one after another on the screens within the Mage Tower.

And some individuals who could not change their nature, taking advantage of the chaos in the Royal Capital, raised their arms and engaged in arson, murder, and plunder.

Among these people are adventurers and merchant forces from other regions, as well as bloodthirsty mercenaries and pirates who came to the Empire to trade.

Even among these people are some evil casters, such as liches and Dark Mages, who fish in troubled waters during slaughter and chaos, their heaven of turmoil which ordinary people avoid at all costs.

Some particularly conspicuous ones are some Dragon Descendants.

The desire of Evil Dragon Blood causes many Colorful Dragons upon reaching adolescence to seek targets to copulate with to satisfy their desires recklessly.

All intelligent species and species with reproductive organs are targets of these uncontrollable lust-driven giants.

Male Dragons, after venting their desires, may flap their wings and leave, and the dreadful male dragons often consider their targets for venting as food and swallow them.

The offspring of the surviving targets become the postnatal alternative Dragon Descendants.

Even so, the offspring of the Evil Dragons have not stirred any waves on the continent of Aikania.

On one hand, these weak Dragon Descendants, once discovered, are often captured and enslaved by many human kingdoms, becoming frequent guests in the gladiatorial arena, or the meat grinders in the slave army.

The surviving Dragon Descendants, whether in the wilderness or raised by intelligent species, will eventually realize their difference at a destined moment of bloodline awakening.

Summoned by the Evil Dragon Blood within their bodies, these Dragon Descendants will also embark on a quest to find their bloodline progenitor.

However, not every Dragon Descendant can accurately find the source of their bloodline, but the call of this blood source drives these Dragon Descendants to pursue the places where the influence of Evil Dragon Blood resonates the deepest in the Material World.

So, these Dragon Descendants coming to the Golden Empire are not the original Dragon Descendants of the Empire, but some outsiders.

Although the blood of Dragon Descendants is thin compared to Evil Dragon Blood, the environmental influence in the atmosphere allows these outsider Dragon Descendants to also unleash their vile blood nature, joining the chaotic revelry.

Even if the personnel of the Observatory wish to immediately destroy those dragons devolved into beasts and those worthy of death ten thousand times over, they forcibly suppress their agitation and begin to operate methodically according to the regulations.

Heavy and orderly footsteps mixed with the clash of steel approached, as the heavy shield and long spear of the Third Legion’s front formation passed by.

The roads several hundred meters away are ravaged with deep scars, as if swept repeatedly by enormous forces, even the thick basalt flooring ground into dust, leaving only a field of broken limbs and bones.

A young female Black Dragon lay greedily in the pool of blood around herself, her slender neck supporting her head as she sniffed around in the blood plasma. The fresh blood had dyed the scales of this beastly Giant Dragon a dark red, and her fourteen-meter-long body was terrifying like a monster that crawled out of Hell.
