Chapter 441, Breaking the Arrays

Translator: Silavin

The Arrays were like whirlpools, stacked upon each other, rolling with wind and clouds, covering the sky.

Within the Arrays, a figure constantly fled, with dozens of energy beams bombarding from behind. Each time, this figure narrowly avoided these terrifying beams.

“Huff huff… Zhiyi, haven’t you found it yet?” Qin Yichen breathlessly asked as he fled, although he could barely dodge these beam attacks using his Movement Technique.

However, the aftershocks from each beam’s explosion still struck him, making him uncomfortable. Nearly a quarter of an hour of fleeing had already exhausted him.

Logically, ordinary Arrays, even when launching attacks, should not be able to condense so quickly, and under wave after wave of attacks, the Arrays should gradually weaken.

But in this Array, after enduring for so long, Qin Yichen discovered that the Array showed absolutely no signs of weakening. It was as if the energy of these Arrays was infinite.

This meant that exhausting the Array’s energy was absolutely impossible. Only by finding the Array Core and breaking it would there be a way out.

“Brother Yichen, I’ve found the Array Core!” Just as Qin Yichen was pondering, Gongshu Zhiyi’s excited voice called out.

Hearing this, Qin Yichen’s eyes flashed with light, and Gongshu Zhiyi very sensibly pointed to a certain point of the Array before quickly retreating, afraid that the beams chasing after Qin Yichen might hit her.

“Break!” After several flashes, Qin Yichen arrived at where Gongshu Zhiyi had previously been. Then, he roared. With Yuan Energy flickering in his hand, he slammed his fist at a certain part of the Array.

*Bang!*

The entire Array violently trembled, and then the innermost whirlpool began to shake. As a crack spread out, it finally shattered into countless particles with a *bang*.

When the Array was broken, a strange feeling flashed through Qin Yichen’s heart. He wanted to grasp this feeling, but it escaped before he could.

Gongshu Zhiyi, as if she had also sensed something, momentarily lost focus at this instant.

However, this strange feeling quickly dissipated, and both regained their senses.

“Yay! We succeeded!” Seeing the Array shatter, Gongshu Zhiyi cheered, her bright eyes filled with joy.

“This is just the Array Core of one Array, quickly find the next Array Core!” Qin Yichen did not share Gongshu Zhiyi’s joy. He did not even have time to savour the previous feeling, and instead, with a solemn expression, shouted at Gongshu Zhiyi.

Qin Yichen clearly knew that at this pace, he probably would not be able to hold on until all the Array Cores of the ten to twenty Arrays were destroyed.

After about a quarter of an hour, with Gongshu Zhiyi’s excited call, Qin Yichen smashed another Array, and at the same time, that strange feeling flashed through his heart again as the Array shattered.

[This feeling again!] This time, Qin Yichen immersed his mind in this strange feeling for a moment, and in the next instant, his eyes suddenly sparkled with brilliance.

Qin Yichen raised his head, looking at the whirlpool like Arrays, and his heart suddenly became excited.

It was at this moment that he suddenly understood, to find an Array Core of an Array, he just needed to directly follow the energy flow of the Array!

“How stupid of me!” After realising this, Qin Yichen could not help but slap his forehead, cursing himself.

“Zhiyi, rest at the centre!” Qin Yichen shouted to Gongshu Zhiyi, his figure darting forward rapidly.

This time, he did not flee aimlessly as before but moved along the path of the energy flowing within the Array.

In just a short time, Qin Yichen’s eyes brightened, and he punched a certain point in the Array.

*Bang!* The third Array broke!

Five minutes later.

*Bang!*

Another Array Core was broken!

Seeing Qin Yichen locate the Array Cores so precisely, Gongshu Zhiyi’s eyes filled with admiration. She did not continue to rest, but also began to consciously sense the flow of energy in the Arrays.

*Bang!*

Under the joint efforts of the two, in less than half an hour, with a crisp sound, the final Array finally shattered before Qin Yichen and Gongshu Zhiyi.

Thus, the clouds parted to reveal the Sun.

A shower of light rained down, turning into stars, not falling to the ground, but like a galaxy, pouring into the tops of their heads.

A mysterious rhythm rippled through Qin Yichen’s heart.

This made him close his eyes involuntarily and began to carefully sense it.

Previously, he only had a slight, vague perception, but now it was very clear.

In his Knowledge Sea, points of starlight, each shining, seemed to be transmitting some special information.

Qin Yichen’s mind, at this moment, was as still as water.

Although his eyes were closed, strange scenes appeared before him.

A stubborn stone, as if being cut by small knives, split inch by inch, instantly transforming into a stone horse, and then began to run.

The ground, with soil rolling, as if kneaded by a pair of clever hands, instantly became a clay figure, then stood up to walk.

A tree branch, with its bark splitting, instantly became a spear, capable of piercing stone and splitting gold.

…

All sorts of scenes, with people, beasts, tools – various and vivid, incredibly ingenious.

Qin Yichen was immersed in them.

At some point, the ground around him began to move, the soil moved, just like in those scenes, forming shapes.

Failure, reform.

Failure, reform.

This repeated again and again.

It was in this almost half-dreaming, half-awake state that what should have been achievable only upon entering the Unity of Heart and Soul Realm. Or perhaps, at this moment, he was already in the state of Unity of Heart and Soul.

Perhaps, even Qin Yichen himself had not noticed his proficiency was rapidly increasing.

The ground, the soil moved faster and faster, the speed of formation also became faster, and more and more vivid, even approaching perfect replication of the images in his mind.

Not far from him, Gongshu Zhiyi was doing the same thing, but her speed was much slower than his, roughly for every four or five times Qin Yichen formed something, she could only form once.

This was the difference in Spiritual Energy mastery between the two.

And the fact that Gongshu Zhiyi was not too far behind Qin Yichen, technically an ancient monster, also proved that her reputation as the number one talent of the young generation in the Gongshu Clan was well-deserved.
