Chapter 1533: Chapter 527: Shirendil Plateau_3

.....

”Hahaha!”

Far away at the Tutkash School’s residence, Graham, having ended the call, couldn’t help but burst into joyful laughter.

”Rein, not bad, I originally thought he wouldn’t be coming back, but unexpectedly, he has returned.”

Suddenly, a voice as if coming from a great distance appeared abruptly in his mind, ’Eliminate this Rein... reward...’.

Compared to before, the distant voice was much smoother, no longer intermittent.

Apparently, some kind of bond between them seemed to have deepened.

”Of course, Your Majesty Demon Spider, that is exactly what I intended to do.”

”Incidentally, we can also eliminate Stuart, and before the Empire reacts, Nirheim will already have enough sacrifices to allow Your Excellency’s avatar to descend directly.”

Graham’s low yet joyful voice echoed in the deserted hall where he was the only one left, appearing particularly eerie.

....

In the evening.

The high-speed airship Rein was aboard began to gradually enter the Shirendil Plateau.

Standing at the airship’s railing, Rein gazed far into the distance, seeing the continuous chain of mountains appearing one after another. The once dense forest began to fade, and more coniferous woods started emerging on the ground.

As they continued flying, the vegetation on the ground became increasingly sparse and shorter, with shrubs and alpine meadows becoming more common, and snow-covered peaks visible on distant mountains.

The plateau’s scenery gradually unfolded before Rein’s eyes.

”I’ve heard that the Brighton tribes live here.” Rein recalled having once slain a Legendary Strongman among the Brighton people, ’Corpse Splitter’ Greg.

Numerous nomadic races lived on the Shirendil Plateau, but the Brighton tribe was an exception among them, said to have giant blood and living by hunting.

Moreover, they were known for hunting fierce creatures like highland wild bovines, thick-skinned mammoths, and giant mountain bears.

A while later.

Onboard the airship, Rein noticed a caravan below, consisting of dozens of highland wild bovines pulling heavily laden goods, slowly moving northwest.

”Huh? A Brighton caravan?”

”Judging by the direction, they should be heading to Nirheim.”

Furthermore, with Rein’s eyesight, he could easily discern their attire, mainly composed of simple leather armor, with tall, burly statures, and a three-red-mud mark on their foreheads.

It piqued Rein’s interest.

Rein said to the elite soldier beside him: ”Let’s stop the airship here; you wait for me. I should be back by midday tomorrow.”

”Yes, Lord Rein!” the soldier replied.

Soon, Rein leaped off the railing, the Floating Technique allowing him to descend slowly towards the ground and walk towards the caravan.

”Huh, quite a lot of the goods are ores?”

As he neared the caravan, a cursory glance revealed that the Brighton tribe’s caravan goods were not all fur-like items but nearly half were various ores, many of which were rare.

Although covered with cloth, as a Metal Series Dawn Wizard, Rein didn’t need to see them; he could easily sense this.

”Stranger, one of the wilderness rules is not to approach caravans indiscriminately.”

At this moment, a young Brighton, over two meters tall, clad in simple leather armor and wielding a single-bladed battle axe, approached Rein and said in a deep voice.

”Is this a caravan heading to Nirheim?” Rein asked with a slight smile.

”What if it is?” The young Brighton looked at Rein suspiciously, tightening his grip on the battle axe.

”May I travel with you?”

”We don’t welcome strangers.”

”Hmm, in that case, may I purchase some ores?” Rein didn’t mind the refusal, smiling as he spoke.

”How did you know we were transporting ores?” The young Brighton’s expression changed immediately, and after a whistle, seven or eight equally robust Brighton youths rushed out from both sides of the caravan.

Rein chuckled to himself, shook his head, and then transformed the hardened essence gold in his hand into a shield and a Knight’s Longsword, immediately followed by a single-bladed battle axe identical to the one wielded by the young Brighton.

This made the Brighton warriors pause and exchange surprised glances!

”High Rank Wizard?” the dreadlocked elder leading them widened his eyes and exclaimed in a low voice.

”Stop!”

He called out, quickly stepped out of the crowd, bowed slightly, and said, ”Esteemed Wizard, we are just an ordinary caravan, may we ask what you wish?”

Knowing that their Brighton tribe with diluted giant blood was not enough to resist a stranger who was a High Rank Wizard, the elder was cautious.

”Don’t be nervous, I’m just here to buy some ores.”

”Well... alright.” The dreadlocked elder showed a hint of difficulty but nodded, seemingly intimidated by Rein’s power.

”Elder? This is meant for Izso...” the young man beside him started but immediately stopped speaking.

However, Rein had already caught the ’Izso’ pronunciation.

Could it be the Isodre School?

This made Rein smile faintly, his interest piquing even more.

Perhaps, from this caravan, he could learn a lot of firsthand information about the Shirendil Plateau and the Isodre School.
