Chapter 1487: Chapter 511: Ambush and Fury

As soon as Rein rushed out of the cabin, he saw soldiers on the passage and deck, looking slightly panicked, running back and forth, and loudly issuing commands.

It must be noted that this was the flagship of the Empire Airship fleet. Rarely did anything happen that could cause the elite Empire soldiers to appear so flustered and terrified.

And following the direction of many soldiers’ gestures towards the lower side of the airship, Rein couldn’t help but widen his eyes instantly.

Just below, in the sea area, appeared a huge circular whirlpool, with a diameter of about two or three kilometers, seemingly spinning faster and faster. Seagulls and albatrosses, originally skimming over the sea surface, were all drawn into the whirlpool by its tremendous suction.

For a moment, it was as if a hole had opened in the sea floor!

Even the Empire Airship fleet cruising at an altitude of two thousand meters was affected by the rapidly descending air currents, causing the massive airbag to shift, tilting the pod underneath where Rein was.

At this moment, Menia and Reginald also quickly stepped out to the deck one after another.

”Rein, Reginald and I will go down to check. You temporarily...” Red Queen Menia, seeing the whirlpool below, immediately made arrangements, just as she was speaking.

Suddenly, the whirlpool below underwent a drastic change!

It seemed the seawater absorbed by the whirlpool had reached a certain limit, and the next second, the massive seawater from that part of the whirlpool unexpectedly surged upwards into the sky, forming a towering crystalline column hundreds of meters high.

It was as if a stone had been thrown into the water. The surface was first thrust down by the stone, forming a depression, and in the next moment, it rebounded upwards.

But what instantly attracted the attention of Rein and the other three Epic-level powerhouses was not the towering water column, but the immense shadow rising within it.

It was a fish!

An enormous whale!

Furthermore, it was a whale with a unicorn!

The whirlpool just now was the special ability ”Surge” of the ’Leviathan Giant Whale’ Jorgandman, forming a whirlpool on the sea surface, and when enough seawater was absorbed, it would counter-force into the sky, creating a massive water column.

”This... This is an ancient Leviathan Giant Whale?! Wasn’t it supposed to be extinct?!” Seeing the whale-like shape and the extremely unique unicorn design, Reginald couldn’t help but recall something and exclaimed.

”Not good! Quickly, all airships, discard heavy objects, elevate the flight path, advance with full speed!” Reginald’s expression suddenly changed, and he shouted to the adjutant beside him.

The ascending height of the airship is limited because the higher it goes, the thinner the air. Thus, the buoyancy provided by the airbag is reduced, and the airships used by the Empire Delegation this time mostly have a maximum height of around two thousand six hundred meters.

”Yes!”

But before the adjutant could run a few steps, suddenly!

A majestic roar echoed from the sea below, followed by a gigantic water column with a diameter of several tens of meters, spewing from the ’Leviathan Giant Whale’s’ blood-red mouth like a cannonball.

The unique cavity structure of the water column caused it to resemble a gigantic, high-pressure water gun, or like a giant anti-aircraft cannon, immediately blasting the Empire airship behind the flagship into smithereens!

”Whale Spring Spurt!! It is indeed the Leviathan Giant Whale!” Menia’s fair face turned solemn.

Seeing such a distinctive ability, there was now no doubt about the other’s origins!

”Let’s go, Reginald, Crown, we will divert its attention.”

”The airship fleet should immediately ascend in height and speed towards the Empire!”

”Good, who would’ve thought we just left the Federation Territory, only to help them annihilate a resurrecting ancient giant beast!” Reginald shook his head, lamenting.

Although he was encountering a Leviathan Giant Whale for the first time, with Menia and himself, Reginald was still confident they could kill it. At worst, they could repel it with no issue.

”Me...” Rein opened his mouth, about to say ’how come he’s left behind again’ when.

With two resounding dragon roars, one red and one yellow Giant Dragon, sprang up from the sky below the airship flagship, as Menia and Reginald swiftly leaped onto their respective dragon backs.

”Alright~” Rein watched this scene, helplessly shaking his head.

At this moment, the situation in the sea changed again.

Suddenly, from the sea area below the Leviathan Giant Whale emerged some dense little black dots, which then rushed out of the water, attacking the Imperial Dragon Knight and airship fleet in the sky.

Squinting his eyes slightly, Rein quickly saw that these were monks riding flying fish or flying manta rays with transparent wings.

”Sea God Sect!”

”It seems the so-called Leviathan Giant Whale’s resurgence is not accidental.”

However, these Flying Fish Knights and Manta Knights couldn’t cause much trouble for Menia and Reginald, two veteran Imperial Dragon Knights. Instead, they were continuously hit by blisteringly hot Fiery Breaths and sandstorm whirling sand Breath, making them fall from mid-air like black raindrops.

But due to their delay, the Leviathan Giant Whale had the opportunity to release the Whale Spring Spurt repeatedly, destroying several Empire airships!

The situation seemed to be at a stalemate.

The Leviathan Giant Whale was bombarding the Empire airships while own Dragon Riders were annihilating the opponent’s flying knights, yet Rein felt that the attack wouldn’t be that simple.

At this moment, suddenly!
