Warhammer Divine Throne

The fist hit Tauros right on the chin.

The massive body of the Four-armed Bull Demon, nearly four meters tall, was lifted off the ground by the punch, spinning in the air. Its jaw was deformed, its teeth shattered, and blood sprayed from its jaw.

Tauros’ soul left its body with an evil grin. It was not dead; it was about to return to Subspace: ”This is your last victory, human!”

”Ha, do you think you can escape?” The White Wolf Knight’s lips curled up.

A strong Light of Spiritual Power shone on the mountaintop, forming a huge vortex. Tauros’ soul was drawn away, moving further from Subspace and closer to the Spiritual Vortex.

”No! No! This can’t be! You... Ah!! Ahhhhh!!!!” Tauros’ soul let out a wretched howl. For the first time, fear appeared on its face: ”No! No! No!!!”

The Spiritual Storm swept Tauros’ filthy soul into the vortex. The white airwaves burned its soul, and the filthy, blood-red soul struggled desperately in the vortex.

”No! This can’t be! This can’t be!!!” The soul of the Four-armed Bull Demon was utterly crushed under Laine’s Spiritual Energy, and with the last essence of its soul turning to nothingness, the once invincible horror of legend finally fell before Laine.

It was over. Laine reached out, gripping the massive bull horn of the Four-armed Bull Demon, severing its head as a trophy. After collecting all the Knight’s Badges from Tauros, Laine finally allowed himself to feel the pain from the battle.

The pain almost overwhelmed his mind, but Laine knew he couldn’t afford to pass out now. So, he crawled to the icy river, washing his wounds with the freezing water, the chill seeping into his bones. After cleaning the wounds, Laine hastily bandaged himself, then leaned weakly against the side, gasping for air.

Once the Doomsday Bull evolved into a Four-armed Bull Demon, it was no longer a ”creature” but a demon, originating from Subspace.

Demons are extremely hard to kill. They can be defeated repeatedly; their physical forms can be destroyed, but the essence of a demon is not its physical form. It is merely a collection of negative energy in Subspace; its essence is energy.

Normally, demons cannot enter the Prime Material World. Only when certain beings in the Prime Material World further degenerate and corrupt, or under specific circumstances, can demons enter the Prime Material World through the Chaos Gate.

Once a demon’s physical form is destroyed, its soul will return to Subspace, undergoing a long period of recovery to reform its physical form, waiting for the next opportunity to invade the Prime Material World.

But Laine is different. He is his father’s son; possibly only he in the Prime Material Plane can utterly shatter a demon’s soul. The demons and undead slain by him will have no possibility of revival; death for them is truly the end.

Laine leaned against a pine tree, catching his breath. A coin shimmering with faint light beside him caught his attention. Instinctively, Laine reached out for it, and soon, a coin featuring the head of the Goddess of Wealth and Trade appeared in his sight.

Divine Coin!!! This time I’m hitting it big! Oh, Goddess of Fortune above! Thank you for bestowing me with good fortune! Laine’s eyes widened, unable to contain a smiling expression.

The Divine Coin is a universal currency on the Continent, officially issued by the Wealth Church. Each Divine Coin carries a trace of the Goddess of Wealth’s Divine Power. The initial reason for its creation was that moving large quantities of Gold Dinars was cumbersome—major traders frequently dealt in thousands of gold coins, creating a massive burden that was inconvenient to transport and store, often leading to disputes in buying and selling. Therefore, when major traders came to the Church of the Goddess of Wealth to pray, the Goddess of Wealth created this Divine Coin.

One Divine Coin can be exchanged for a thousand Gold Dinars, but its actual value far exceeds this because this currency endowed with divine power has many uses and is even a necessary material for significant spells and alchemical items, so one Divine Coin can actually trade for about twelve hundred Gold Dinars, and sometimes even higher on certain black markets!

The severely injured White Wolf Knight was grinning, as if the wounds on his body no longer hurt so much.

This matter was still being discussed in the void.

”Brilliant!” Yurik finally burst into laughter: ”Hahahaha~ Look, I knew he could win. I will inform all the White Wolf Divine Halls of what happened here, so everyone in the world can see what an outstanding young man I have!”

After speaking, Yurik swaggered off.

Only the remaining figure watched Laine, divine light flickering in its eyes: ”That energy, I’ve seen it before.”

It recalled before arriving in this world as a refugee, encountering endless demon armies in Subspace battling a human clad in fully silver plate armor, enveloped in blue flames. The energies of that human were very much like this one, though clearly not the same person, because that human was extraordinarily tall, and his power was astounding. He could single-handedly wield a sword to chase an entire demon army, causing those once-almighty Demon Princes to flee helplessly before him.

”A horse, a red horse, was given power to take peace from the earth, so that people would slaughter each other. And a large sword was given to him.” The beautiful figure recalled the prophecy previously obtained with all its divine power: ”The Knight Kingdom will be engulfed in war, until its complete destruction.”
