Villain Extra: Rogue Reader

”Hehehe!”

”Hehehehehee!”

”Hehehehehehe!”

Ray’s creepy laughter continued to resound even after leaving his dorm.

The nearby students who had woken up and prepared to make their way to the ceremony were creeped out by his behavior.

Nevertheless, they only dared to softly gossip about him and made sure to avoid blocking his path.

News of his deed in the Arena Section had already spread to many.

”Young Master Ray... you’re going to become an outsider at this rate.” Belva feared for his academic life. She wasn’t creeped out by his maniacal laughter because she was used to it by now.

Every once in a while, he would give off a villainous air for some reason. It already happened once too when he suddenly stripped with his boxer left.

”Who cares if I’m an outsider or not?” Ray shrugged his shoulders. He was never someone who belonged in this world, to begin with.

He was just an extra—and unwilling extra that was thrown into this world.

But still, he was quite satisfied with the reward he obtained from the Villain Wheel.

It wasn’t anything new or an item, but an upgrade of his current skill.

And like many would have guessed, he upgraded the Necromancer skill.

With the upgrade, he no longer needed to consume even Villain Points to summon an undead.

Of course, the downside was that there was still a limited number of slots.

Currently, he only has Lancelot as his undead because that was a freebie given.

Lancelot took 1 out of the 2 slots available.

However, that wasn’t the best part about why he was laughing so sinisterly.

This new upgrade enabled him to have the undead inherit his skills and beyond.

Lancelot not only learned all of his active skills, but he could also train independently and level up.

Yes, just like how MMOs have their character level up and gain attributes plus more skills—Lancelot had become one of such characters.

Needless to say, Ray immediately summoned Lancelot and used Teleportation to the wilderness and began his training arc.

He could check on his vision and even command it to do specific things; otherwise, it would be left alone and operate on its own.

The perfect soldier in the making was already in his hand.

How could Ray not be filled with joy?

You would have thought that was the end, right??

SIKE!!!!

Anything that Lancelot learned would also be shared with him and inherited directly.

This was better than cloning because not even clones could be that overpowered.

Lancelot was an undead with unlimited stamina and did not require any sleep. All dangerous missions could now be delegated to Lancelot.

’All hail Lancelot!’ Ray just knew it was right to name his first undead knight Lancelot.

”Please mind your actions, Young Master Ray. It would be bad news if your actions were spread to the Marquis and that the Carrion Household might become stained.” Belva sweated nervously and advised him sincerely.

She respected but also feared Marquis Robert deeply. The latter was someone who could suppress foreign armies with just his presence alone.

”Shouldn’t they be proud instead?” Ray raised an eyebrow and frowned. ”My deeds in the Arena Section should have already been reported to Father. He is probably debating what gifts to give me.”

”...”

The other children of Marquis Robert could never sound that confident after causing such a ruckus. No, maybe only the eldest daughter, Chloe, was capable of pulling such a feat and being praised.

’Hopefully, everything goes well in the welcome ceremony.’ Belva prayed silently.

Suddenly, she noticed Ray was walking in the wrong direction.

”Young Master, the auditorium is this way.” She called out and pointed in the opposite direction.

Ray ignored her and continued to walk in his path. ’As long as I can find that scene from the Foresight, I can just have Lancelot planted there.’

He complained on purpose to the system about the mosaic blurred faces and physiques to avoid the system from understanding a loophole.

The surrounding scenery in the Foresight scene wasn’t a mosaic, and given that it was a handover to a student of Crestellan Academy, the scene definitely had to be around the campus.

He had inquired with Belva before that students weren’t allowed to leave the campus unless granted permission. The process was tedious, and it would be extremely suspicious if the culprit repeatedly asked to leave. Not to mention, they were literally above the sky.

The academy was basically a floating island, and if someone were able to bypass the restriction and come in through an unorthodox method, Ray had to be even more careful.

’Based on the novel, the principal is soon going to appoint the protagonist as successor because of some dumb prophecy. And the principal is the eighth circle, but nobody knew he was inflicted with a heavy injury.’ This was a major plotline, so he remembered the summarized detail.

As for the precise detail, he remained unsure, and his brain wasn’t godly enough to recall everything.

A 5,000-Chapter novel, with each Chapter being at least 1,500 words.

Just how many word counts had he read in total?

He didn’t know, and maybe someone who enjoyed math would do the calculation, but that wasn’t important right now.

What was important was that he needed to find this secret handover spot as soon as possible.

”Young Master, are you just trying to stall because you have some social anxiety?” Belva finally asked when Ray repeatedly avoided a large crowd.

She had noticed it before during the first cafeteria entry. It was so overcrowded, but it shouldn’t have been enough to irritate him that badly to request a switch.

Then there was the Arena Section.

When they first entered, Belva could sense his unease.

However, he managed to cover that up by going rogue and ragebait mode.

His uneasiness only subtly resided when he managed to lower his focal vision to a few particular students.

”Belva, I’ll say this once. Being clever is fine, but never try to be too clever. Oftentimes, clever people die first because they not only know too much, but they speak too fast.” Ray suddenly said in a solemn tone.
