Villain Extra: Rogue Reader

”Get away from me!” The male student panicked heavily and chugged out even more spells.

They consumed all their mana to completely surround the field. That way, no matter how fast Ray was, there would be no space to dodge.

”Yo, whoever you are! Stop sulking in the ground from your bruised cheeks. Start helping me out!” They then shouted at the female, who was still trying to recover from her swollen cheeks.

”Try and assist him, and I’ll go after your face again!” Ray quickly threatened menacingly. He purposely left her alone for now because some women just cared about their appearance more than their lives.

Don’t ask why!

That just seemed to be a universal cause, similar to how men were just the worst universally.

Yes, that included him because he never claimed to be a saint.

Sure enough, the female student shrieked and held their swollen cheeks.

”Oh, by the way, if you just exit the arena, your face will return to its usual appearance~” Ray suddenly informed her.

”Don’t listen to this villain! He just wanted you to leave the arena. We can still win this!” The male student instantly realized his intention and tried to persuade the female student to stay.

”Since it’ll be healed once we win anyway, just come and assist me.”

”Yeah, just listen to him and stay. Get your face beaten up so badly like a pig and have it be captured by everyone!” Ray encouraged her to stay, too. ”Oh, my maid has a special spell to capture the moment and imprint it on paper. I’ll gladly spread those photos to everyone.”

”Eeeek!” Instantly, the female student trembled at the scenery of her terrible appearance being spread around.

”Psst, look at my maid over there!” Ray exclaimed and vanished from the spot. He hadn’t forgotten that the male student was still bombarding him.

”Where did he go?” The male student’s eyes quickly widened in shock.

He glanced around the surroundings and didn’t see him anywhere.

Right at this moment, the male student also noticed the crowd was shouting something at him and pointing at something.

To prevent external interferences, the formation automatically blocked out all sounds from the outside. But it wasn’t vice versa, which meant that their conversation and every action could be heard and seen outside.

Needless to say, one of the loopholes was that the participants inside the formation could still see the crowd’s actions.

Hence, the male student noticed everyone was pointing behind him.

’I don’t want to turn around...’ The male student sweated profusely. He knew the moment he turned around, some shit was about to happen.

And he seriously didn’t want to imagine what it would be.

”Hey, buddy, you’re sweating a lot. Why don’t you turn around?”

Sure enough, like a horror movie, a voice crept up from behind him.

The male student shook their head repeatedly. What awaited him when he turned around was so blatantly obvious. His mana was exhausted too from his AoE (Area of Effect) spells that should have enveloped Ray.

Alas, that didn’t happen, and now he was just a helpless fish on the chopping board.

”Oh come on, turn around and I’ll promise you’d be safe~” Ray was once again tempted to turn around. ”Weren’t you so confident earlier and trying to convince your fellow teammate to help you out? Look at what they’re doing~!”

The male student held a bittersweet smile when he made a side glance at the female student, who had inflicted a fatal injury on herself.

She wasn’t blind and had witnessed Ray toying with them all.

Since that was the case, why should she continue to humiliate herself and keep her swollen cheeks that were still aching by the second?

She might as well escape the formation and recover fully.

As for the Stellan Points loss?

It was whatever!

Nothing was more precious than her face and image anyway!!!

Once she was out of the formation, the female student left the Arena Section without looking back.

All she knew today was to avoid Ray from now on.

He was the devil!

Despicable!

The Villain!

”Ah, what a pity that she really left. I wasn’t going to do anything bad, to be honest. I was just going to give some fan service and help our eyes light up.” Ray mused loudly.

Even a fool could understand what his words meant.

But that wasn’t the entire point.

Ray purposely said so in such a way that no one should attempt to provoke him.

He might not be intent on beating up women, but he sure as heck had many ways to make them surrender without going through the violent mode.

He was never someone who enjoyed beating others up. He was an amiable and tolerant person, alright.

Those who don’t believe him were probably the courting death type, such as this male student here.

”Looks like it’s just you and me, buddy.” Ray widened his smile. ”Why don’t you turn around?”

”Hah, you just want me to look at you while you pull that goal move.” The male student sneered.

”Bingo—” Right when Ray was about to praise their cleverness, they suddenly bit their tongue and inflicted a fatal injury on themselves.

He would rather bite his tongue to die than be killed in that scary manner.

As the formation was about to kick in, the male student was relieved for only a brief moment.

’How dare you try to leave without permission!’ Ray cursed silently and immediately kicked him right in the balls—another big goal!

The male student felt his soul leave his body while being transported out.

”AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!”

Despite being transported outside, the male student still winced in agony and clutched his legs.

”That’s what you called phantom pain, bitch!” Ray clicked his tongue and felt irritated. The feeling was no different than being cliffhangered by the author at an exciting Chapter.

The crowd descended into silence. They were flabbergasted by his ruthless action.

”What infamy...”

”This is a villain in the process, and not a hero.”

”Bwahaha, this is interesting.” While many were dumbfounded, only George clapped his hands and marveled at this amazing scene.

As for William, he was stunned and frozen on the spot.

’He’s a villain, alright.’ He made his final confirmation.
