The Versatile Master Artist

Koukou attended the pottery class again in her second year.

By that time, she had straightened her teeth, removed her glasses with orthokeratology lenses, and her skin had gradually become whiter and smoother.

She was no longer isolated, no longer given nicknames.

The girl was like a rose in May and June, transforming from thorny grass into a blossoming flower in an instant.

More and more boys began to admire her.

Many even willingly surrounded her.

Koukou smiled at everyone, searching, searching, yet she did not see the figure she most hoped to find.

She even went to great lengths to obtain last year’s pottery class summer registration list and cross-referenced it against the calendar, yet found little.

She didn’t even see Mona’s annoying name.

She inquired with the pottery teacher and learned that there had been an affordable two-week experience class in August and September last year.

Many parents sent their children for a short trial of pottery, without officially enrolling them in the class.

The registration form from that time had long been lost.

Fencing, chess, vocal music, Latin dance, performance class, violin...

Later, Koukou attended many, many interest classes, anyway, her father felt guilty toward his little girl and enjoyed seeing her become more cheerful.

It was just about paying to attend interest classes.

Attend them!

Whether she learned well or not didn’t matter. As long as Koukou asked, her father would definitely agree.

But alas, the city was too big, with a sea of people.

Myanmar is the second-largest country in Southeast Asia.

Close to ten million people live around Yangon alone. Finding a needle in a haystack, meeting someone again among millions, how difficult it was.

Koukou wasn’t really looking for that boy for any particular reason.

She just liked walking leisurely in the city, learning one course after another.

Like a little girl who luckily survived the winter night, waiting for the pumpkin carriage, living in her own castle and palace. No longer needing to keep warm, she would still drape in a beautiful fox fur, casually striking matches, watching the phosphor light rise from her fingertips again and again.

Somewhere in the world, at some moment in time, she had seen that kind and warm smile.

Perhaps at the next corner, in the next class.

Koukou could sit beside him and say hello with a smile.

So, in ninth grade, her father suddenly asked her, if she liked attending interest classes so much, why not transfer from White Elephant Middle School to the local prestigious private school Fitz.

Koukou didn’t refuse.

On the first day of transferring, although Koukou had long given up hope, she was greatly surprised.

In fact, she had seriously considered it long ago, so many years had passed.

Memories always have a way of infinitely beautifying someone.

The boy named Gu might have become a chubby guy, might no longer have a gentle smile, might also have changed to enjoy mocking people, giving others nicknames.

Maybe even if she really met that guy again, from passing by his side, she wouldn’t recognize him anymore.

But it was great,

aside from being magnified compared to her memory, he hadn’t changed at all.

Still slender, still gentle, still endearingly pretending to be mature sometimes.

From the moment she stepped into the classroom, Koukou recognized him.

Although she knew, of course, he had long forgotten that little girl with braces.

The only thing not so good was that he was much the same as when they were young.

Even that pesky Mona beside him hadn’t changed.

When Koukou heard her father say that Gu Weijing donated a huge sum of money to the orphanage children,

she didn’t know where the guy got such a large sum of money, but she wasn’t surprised at all.

That boy was just the kind of person who would do such things!

”Damn, I knew it, this guy’s too-good-to-be-true nature would eventually invite the wolves from outside.”

Mona sniffed, thinking angrily.

She tried hard to recall that transparent little nobody from the pottery class.

No matter how she thought, Mona found it difficult to match the dark, skinny girl with glasses to the enticing enchantress before her with fair skin, curves, and long legs.

She and Gu Weijing did indeed attend pottery class together.

Mona still had a wobbly little clay cup at home, with a handle chewed like by a dog, most likely the handiwork of the person before her.

Honestly.

Even though Koukou spoke of precious memories, Mona had trouble recalling them.

Who would care about a nobody like that little girl!

Only someone like Gu Weijing, a central heater, would be so satiated as to offer warmth to others.

Now it was clear.

Upon hearing this story,

Mona didn’t feel any ”Wow! We knew each other since childhood” sentiment, rather, she felt a surge of anger.

She finally understood why Koukou was always so gossipy about her and Gu Weijing’s emotional relationship.

So this b*tch had been alluringly eyeing her family’s little donkey from outside the walls, and as soon as she didn’t want it, the person came and took it away.

Even...

”You must’ve hooked up long ago! B*tch.”

Mona felt inexplicably like an outsider’s mistress had put a green hat on her, angrily standing with her hands on her hips.

If not for Koukou’s slender waist, long legs, and good athleticism.

In terms of combat power, she figured she couldn’t outfight her.

Miss Sande Nu almost wished to pounce and bite Koukou.
