The Versatile Master Artist

Gu Weijing indeed wanted to avoid Koukou to some extent.

During the past period, for various reasons, he discovered that Koukou had a lot of curiosity towards him.

Perhaps there’s a bit of affection mixed in with that curiosity, or perhaps there isn’t. Or maybe her closeness is just to mess with Mona.

Koukou’s personality is lovable and multifaceted, able to get along with anyone, and she interacts well with most boys and girls.

Gu Weijing always felt he couldn’t quite understand Koukou.

But that’s not the reason he’s avoiding Koukou.

Now, as a novice in romantic relationships, Gu Weijing is somewhat at a loss about how to handle this situation.

In principle,

Gu Weijing believes that after he started dating Miss Sakai, he shouldn’t get too close to other girls.

Mona’s chat records, he could delete completely from his phone.

But facing the little heroine who just recently saved him, should he rush over and say— ”Hey, Koukou, I have a new girlfriend now, so please don’t try to come close anymore.”

Even if Freud said that every romantic relationship has a strong sense of narcissism,

such a declaration would be overwhelmingly narcissistic and exceptionally rude.

He believes Koukou wouldn’t mind.

Even if Miss Koukou had a bit of vague affection, it wouldn’t be to the extent of entanglement and drama.

Just thinking about that scene made Gu Weijing so embarrassed that he wanted to dig a three-bedroom apartment with his toes and bury himself.

After much consideration, Gu Weijing decided to handle it coldly.

Koukou is so popular at school that by avoiding her for a while, her attention should get diverted elsewhere.

Once the curiosity passes, it’s all good.

Unfortunately, Miss Koukou is not someone who would obediently follow Gu Weijing’s psychological expectations.

This cheeky girl, realizing Gu Weijing’s intentions, not only didn’t turn away but instead cornered him to the wall, ready to explore further.

This was even more awkward.

In the secluded hallway of the teaching building,

Koukou stared into Gu Weijing’s eyes, while Gu Weijing’s gaze was uncomfortable.

The girl with braided hair leaned forward; their bodies were close, so close that Gu Weijing could clearly see the platinum necklace hanging on her neck disappearing into the neckline of her unbuttoned school uniform, rising and falling with her chest, close enough for him to smell the peach bubble gum in Koukou’s mouth.

”Do I look good?”

Koukou noticed Gu Weijing’s evasive gaze and teased.

In history, great artists often have countless romantic affairs.

Either flirting with girls or on the way to flirt.

If Picasso, notoriously lecherous, faced such a question, he’d probably wish to turn into a necklace and bury himself among the beautiful girl’s curves.

But the family education Gu Weijing received helped him overcome instinctual desires in such moments.

He thought it best not to let this ambiguous atmosphere linger any longer.

Gu Weijing decided to speak the truth, regardless of its appropriateness.

”Sorry, Miss Koukou, it’s not about you, you are beautiful too. I just feel that right now, I shouldn’t get too close to girls and should keep a certain distance.”

”WHY?”

Like a red koi fish, Koukou blew a bubble.

”Did you change hobbies and start liking men now, are you gay?” Koukou tilted her head, jokingly examining Gu Weijing from head to toe.

”No, because I have a formal girlfriend now,” Gu Weijing replied honestly.

He’s a bit worried Koukou might want to gossip further.

Gu Weijing doesn’t want to publicly reveal his relationship with Koizumi Katsuko now.

Public opinion isn’t the key.

Fitz International School doesn’t have teachers who are bored enough to meddle in early romance.

But Koizumi Katsuko is still holding the young artist agent agreement from Tokyo Gallery + BTAP.

When signing the contract with Hanks, Mrs. Sakai chatted, hoping that whether the Myanmar gossip would ever reach Tokyo Gallery.

The two of them should restrain themselves and keep a low profile in public at school.

Koizumi Katsuko didn’t seem to mind that much.

But if the romance really needs to be exposed.

The right to control should be in the hands of the girl, not boasted all over by Gu Weijing.

”Oh, is that so.”

Koukou lightly responded, remained silent for a few seconds.

No disappointment could be seen on her face, she suddenly seemed to have lost interest in gossip.

She just stood there and forcefully blew a bubble.

Pop!

The bubble burst.

Koukou retracted her arm, turned around, and walked away.

...

Professor Watter left the podium without taking the computer.

He initially wanted to fold Gu Weijing’s sketch homework and put it in his pocket. Gazing at the sketch paper’s exquisite design, he hesitated, then returned to his office halfway.

Professor Watter found a bottle of sketch fixative spray, shook it twice, and sprayed a layer over Gu Weijing’s drawing.

He casually grabbed a book and tucked the sketch between the pages, then walked out with the book.

Watter entered the elevator foyer, swiped his faculty card, and took the staff elevator straight to the top floor’s principal’s office.

Being a high school principal actually carries great influence.

Especially in private elite schools, the principal is like a little lord on campus.
