The Versatile Master Artist

Koshiba Tarou clenched the tablet tightly in his hand, his tone tinged with hysterical excitement.

He felt that he was not only criticizing the painting but also refuting Gu Weijing as a person.

He wanted to painstakingly expose every flaw in the work, revealing to everyone what kind of a person Gu Weijing truly was.

What a pity,

Student Xiaosong regretted that what he was holding was just a digital photo, instead of Gu Weijing’s original draft like the day in the underground parking lot.

Otherwise, Koshiba Tarou would definitely stage another scene of tearing the painting.

This way he could clearly express his disdain for Gu Weijing.

”I can’t see any noteworthy highlights in this work; what I paint with my toes is better than the worthless Gu Weijing.”

In the small painting classroom, silence reigned.

Everyone was looking at Koshiba Tarou and the tablet in his hand.

Some people clearly sensed that Assistant Xiaosong’s emotion seemed to be a bit off.

Such accusations shouldn’t be words an elder assistant teacher says to students.

Harsh criticism is fine; after all, he’s a Japanese artist who won an official award at such prestigious occasions like the Biennale, and it’s said his family runs a Grand Gallery.

But such phrasing seemed very lacking in style.

”We’re just students from a small place; it’s normal not to catch the attention of Assistant Xiaosong’s high standards. Gu Weijing’s performance among us has always been quite commendable.”

Gu Weijing was usually a bit reticent but not a bothersome troublemaker.

Someone felt this was not ideal and spoke up attempting to ease the atmosphere.

”Grades, grades don’t necessarily count. Even Van Gogh never attended Art Academy, he was a missionary originally.”

Jerry laughed and said, ”Book smarts don’t help; Teacher Xiaosong obviously values more advanced, more important things like creative inspiration, and our student Gu clearly lacks this spark, which is why Mrs. Sakai didn’t choose him for her advanced class.”

”And everyone sitting here surpasses Gu Weijing in inspiration.”

Jerry said with a smile.

He wasn’t sure if what he said was correct; anyway, Jerry was just casually speaking out, always viewing Gu Weijing as a potential rival.

Someone slandering Gu Weijing pleased him.

Jerry’s laughter prompted many in the class to join in laughter.

Miao Angwen’s expression was somewhat peculiar; his heart agreed with Jerry’s standpoint, but recalling the shadowy figure,

he hesitated for a moment and then decided to quietly hold his tongue, just watching from the side.

Koshiba Tarou didn’t care about these ignorant opinions, but the supportive laughter still made him feel very satisfied; he needed this now.

He said viciously, ”Only if blinded by lard would a gallery be willing to sign such an artist!”

Mona looked dazed; she never expected to hear such an answer.

Koshiba Tarou directly degraded Gu Weijing to nothing.

The young boyfriend that she saw as promising was, in the eyes of true high-class art figures, merely a piece of useless mud!

Mona found it hard to believe this answer.

Hearing it from Assistant Xiaosong made her have to believe it.

”I completely disagree.”

At that moment, a cool girl’s voice calmly pierced through.

”Senior Xiaosong, you are completely blinded by jealousy.”
