The Versatile Master Artist

Aside from teaching students from prestigious schools and earning benefits like ”bonuses” and ”excellent teacher” titles, simply looking at their assignments is quite satisfying.

It’s like leveling up a character in a game and creating a perfect character.

Professor Walter is really excited right now.

”Amazing, this sketch showcasing basic drawing skills could be directly displayed on the school’s bulletin board, demonstrating our school’s sketching achievements!” he said.

”Wow, it’s so beautiful.”

”This vortex is making my eyes dizzy.”

Some students chimed in.

”You never asked us to draw like this. It’s just a matter of slightly random lines, and if everyone slows down, they could draw it too.” Some others were still a bit unimpressed.

Appreciating beauty is also a form of cultivation.

And this kind of cultivation is not something everyone possesses.

”Everyone could draw it?” Professor Walter chuckled angrily, ”Just from the skill of this sketch alone, interviewers at the school fair would be fighting over him, believe it or not.”

The professor didn’t finish his sentence.

Just from the skill of this sketch... the majority of people here, if not all, may not be able to achieve it even in their lifetime.

The art industry is this brutal.

”You don’t need to worry about my assignments in the future. I have use for this drawing, so I’m taking it.”

Professor Walter had no interest in explaining to those who wouldn’t lower their heads to appreciate a masterpiece, the brilliance of Gu Weijing’s penmanship.

He took Gu Weijing’s sketch paper and walked out of the classroom.

...

”Hey, classmate Gu. Why are you avoiding me?”

Gu Weijing walked out of the now bustling classroom.

This was originally just a class assignment, and since he decided to draw it this way, he anticipated that Professor Walter would be surprised.

He just didn’t expect Professor Walter to handle his work so publicly.

Gu Weijing wasn’t used to dealing with the situation of classmates crowding around, so he quickly bypassed a few corners and walked into a secluded corridor.

Suddenly, he felt someone patting his back.

Gu Weijing turned his head and saw Koukou standing behind him.

One has to admit, the sense of style is really an innate ability or talent for some girls.

Even though everyone wears the same school uniform every day, the cheer captain manages to pull off different looks every day.

Koukou didn’t wear her signature cool little skull earrings today; instead, she had a small shiny stud on her earlobe.

She wore a baseball cap, with her long hair braided into a plait hanging down her back to her shoulders.

Today, she wore the pants she uses for sketching class, with a few holes she had worn through at the knees and calves.

Don’t be surprised, the girl’s intention is deliberate.

Koukou manually transformed her cotton school pants to look like trendy ripped jeans, pairing them with a white magnolia brooch on her chest, creating a fashionable and athletic mixed style.

At times, it really makes one sigh; it would be a waste if Koukou doesn’t become a versatile star in the future.

”Professor Walter actually doesn’t emphasize class assignments that much right now, and many classmates in the class haven’t been drawing very seriously. So I don’t think you need to come to me for assignments, Koukou.”

Gu Weijing smiled.

Since about half a month ago, he has been intentionally avoiding seats near Koukou.

Koukou rolled her eyes dramatically at Gu Weijing.

She stepped forward, squeezing Gu Weijing to the wall, reaching out to lean against it.

The practice of dance and fencing gives Koukou a fluid physique, and she is naturally taller than Koizumi Katsuko, about 172 cm. On tiptoes, she’s on par with Gu Weijing.

Koukou successfully performed a ”wall slam.”

”Answer my question,” Koukou leaned forward slightly, propping one arm against the wall, and looked straight into Gu Weijing’s eyes: ”Why are you avoiding me?”
