The Genius Evolution Store

”With this, I’ll take away your suffering.”

Those words were a bold claim, but as soon as he finished speaking, Auric simply smiled and said, ”It’s done, sir.”

”Huh?” The volunteer was confused. It didn’t even take a few seconds. All he could feel was Auric tapping his shoulders and pushing his back, but for some reason, Auric already told him he had finished the treatment.

”Have I been treated?” he asked for confirmation, his face completely in disbelief.

”Yes.” Auric chuckled. ”What’s wrong?”

”No... It’s just... it’s too fast. You don’t have to check or do anything else?”

”Everything is done. You are now all right. Besides, will it be a problem if the treatment is too fast? Shouldn’t we strive for a quick and painless treatment?” Auric smiled.

”No, no. I don’t mean to say that...” He shook his head furiously, not wanting Auric to feel offended.

”If you don’t believe me, you can release your energy right now.” Auric nodded calmly.

He looked hesitant. Considering he had endured so much pain, he didn’t really want to experience it again.

However, since Auric asked him to do it, he took a deep breath and released his energy.

He gritted his teeth, clenched his hands, and closed his eyes, ready for the incoming pain.

Yet, no such pain came.

”!!!” The guy widened his eyes straight away. As Auric said, he had cured him. It only took him an instant. ”This... This...”

The guy looked at his hands. His energy was truly covering his body.

”Congratulations. You’ve recovered.” Auric smiled, reassuring him again.

The guy couldn’t help but tear up. He grabbed Auric’s shoulders. ”How... How can I thank you? I... I thought... I wouldn’t be able to use my power again, and...”

He just hugged Auric, unable to express his gratitude. ”Thank you, thank you so much.”

”You’re welcome.” Auric patted his back, comforting him.

Once he took a step back, he took a deep breath to calm himself down and said, ”I really don’t know how to thank you...”

”You don’t have to.” Auric shook his head before noticing the ring on his finger. ”Oh, my. Are you married, sir?”

He noticed Auric’s gaze and raised his hand, rubbing his ring. ”Yes. I’ve been married to my wife for five years.”

”You have children?”

”I have a son. He’s three years old now.”

”Really? Your son must be proud of you. You’ve been doing your best at your job to provide for the family. I used to help my dad with his work, so I could understand how hard parents worked for their children. So, please... you don’t have to think much about it. Let’s get you back to your son. I’m sure that’s what everyone wants. Just keep doing your job and become a hero to your son. That’s how you can thank me.” Auric smiled.

The man was astonished. His cheeky words felt embarrassing at first, but when delivered in such a sincere voice, his heart melted.

”Now, now...” Auric helped him walk to the edge of the stage as the staff member snapped and hurriedly helped him.

When Auric returned, he saw everyone looking dumbfounded. What shocked them? Was it his treatment? They must have looked weird because patting him on the shoulders was completely unnecessary. The only thing necessary was placing his left hand on the side of his back.

Was it because he treated him so fast? For him, it only took two seconds to release his unique energy, break down the poison, and expel it from his body.

Besides, he did it painlessly and quickly to the point where the patient didn’t even realize he had finished the treatment.

His treatment was completely on a whole different level.

After performing such a feat, he comforted the patient and even brought back his dignity. He did it in such a natural way as though he had done it so many times.

Auric looked at the camera, crossed his fingers, gave a playful wink, and showed a cheeky smile.

The instructors were dumbfounded. The students were astonished. The viewers were crazy.

After he had accomplished something that even the instructors couldn’t pull off, he actually gave such a ’fan-service’ to everyone, especially with that face of his.

”Oooooooohhhh!”

”Kyaaaaaaa!”

The students were screaming, especially the female students.

”Long live the prince!”

”Not good. I am going to faint! My prince is the best!”

”No, I’m the one going to faint. Oh, no! I’m really going to faint. I need my prince to treat me.”

”Ah? You can actually do that?”

”Nope! You guys are delusional!”

The female students had gone crazy. Vera shook her head helplessly, while Katarina and Ellia were frozen.

Ellia just looked at Auric without even moving a muscle. If she could, she would have snatched Auric with her space element and put him somewhere no one could find him, and they could live happily ever after.

Katarina, on the other hand, just covered her face with both hands. ”Ugh. This is the problem of having such a boss.”

She was supposed to remain as his secretary, but with such a boss, it was hard not to have her heart flutter.

Even Maya was frozen. She had never seen Auric as more than a student. She cared for him from an older person’s perspective.

Auric might be a troublemaker like her. They had a lot of fun like friends, but she still took care of him.

Even though she had witnessed Auric treating his patients a few times... She had even witnessed Auric treating this poison for the first time in his career.

It might be because of the pressure or because there were people around, so she couldn’t think of something reckless. She just thought it was natural for Auric and felt proud of it.

However, this time, Auric’s treatment had improved by several levels. He pulled off something that others couldn’t do in just seconds. He did it with such style that it was hard not to feel impressed.

Then, last but not least, he even crossed his fingers, gave that playful wink, and showed such a cheeky smile.

This was probably the first time she had felt this way after witnessing Auric’s treatment. She thought he was so cool that a smile escaped from her lips without her realizing it.

The internet, however, became even crazier than the arena. After all, they definitely got the close-up image of Auric’s pose. Thanks to the cameraman’s magical angle, the camera completely captured a much better picture compared to what others could see in the arena.

[Hell yeah! No one can doubt my prince anymore!]

The chat exploded to the point where a single message would be buried in the blink of an eye as millions of people went crazy with their comments.

The problem was that Esfrata wasn’t the only country doing this. All the viewers from other countries were basically doing the same thing, which was why the chat had become uncontrollable.

However, a lot of figures were also observing Auric’s treatment from behind the screen.

Chief Lucas couldn’t help but smile. He was probably the only one who fully understood Auric’s ability and potential.

On the other hand, the students of Grand Magica College were dumbfounded.

”Back then, we recovered from that poison because of Auric?”

”He was the one who treated us?”

”Did everyone hide it all this time, saying it was an expert from the outside?”

”Well, isn’t it understandable? If Auric’s identity is revealed, he won’t have a peaceful time anymore.”

”You’re right. This is amazing. I have never had the chance to thank my savior. Still, will he be alright to reveal that right now?”

”I think he will be fine. He must have some confidence before revealing it.”

At the same time, Merlin from the UK was also watching the livestream. She wanted to know how good Auric was as an evolution master, considering he was the one who treated Timothy.

The result surprised her. Merlin couldn’t help but smile as she really wanted to meet this youngster.

The evolution masters were stunned. How should they process this?

Although they were distracted by Auric’s gesture, a few of them managed to realize that Auric was actually using his unique element to treat the patient, not his dark element.

This was the problem. Should they give a point to Auric? Auric chose to compete by presenting himself as a dark-element evolution master. He shouldn’t use elements other than the dark element.

Most people would think that Auric did it with his right hand, so they would believe he had fulfilled the criteria.

At the same time, could they really stop Auric from earning the point? The moment they showed any sign of rejection, they would be eaten alive not only by the students but also by their own country.

’What’s that? Did he just pull a misdirection? The camera was following that right hand, so people would believe he did it with his dark element.’

’Misdirection... a technique that a magician usually uses to draw attention away from their real trick. And most people were fooled spectacularly.’

’Could I even object to this and remain alive? More importantly, he has just cured something that no one can cure. Regardless of the method, he has done it.’

’That’s right. Auric is also an evolution master for many elements. So, even though he comes forth as a dark-element evolution master, he still has all the other identities.’

All the instructors couldn’t do anything—no, they didn’t dare do anything.

One instructor decided to step forward. ”Student Auric. I’d like to ask you something.”

”Yes?”

”Why did you use your unique element? Couldn’t you solve it with other elements?”

Auric thought for a moment. ”If it’s another type of poison, I could probably use my other elements. For example, if the poison contained earth and lightning, I would just use plant and wind elements to treat the patient.

”However, I couldn’t use something I don’t have, so I have no choice but to use the ’master key.’”

”The master key...” He understood that Auric’s unique element was practically his cheat code. All this time, no one knew what Auric’s unique element was called.

Seeing the confusion on his face, Auric added, ”You surely don’t plan to ask me to tell you about my unique element, right? That is confidential.

”If you’re going to force me to share the method for treating him, then please bring someone with the same element as me first. Then again, if there is someone who can wield so many elements, you will surely know what my element is without me telling you.

”So, there is no reason for me to tell you about my unique element. Besides, the normal treatment is something that everyone already knows.”

Auric had also added another trap. He mentioned the fact that he couldn’t use things he didn’t have. This meant Auric didn’t possess a light element to treat the patient.

Besides, there was a chance that Auric didn’t have the fire and water elements either, as he hadn’t shown them. Dermania was already aware of his fire element because of Gloria’s report, but the other countries weren’t.

So, at the very least, they would think Auric didn’t have water and light elements... not yet.

Nevertheless, after hearing Auric’s words that could invite so many misunderstandings, the instructor immediately shook his head and explained himself. ”No, no. I’m not asking you to reveal your secret. Rather, I’d like to ask you whether the gesture was necessary.”

”Yes? As I said, I’m just trying to make the treatment painless and quick. Even a doctor often does a trick or two to distract the children’s attention so that they don’t panic or cry. So, I did the same thing. Rather than having them scared or hurt, I’d rather have them remain calm... or even confused.” Auric nodded.

”...” The instructor was in a dilemma. Should he support the point or not?

However, there was one person who wasn’t in a dilemma. It wasn’t the instructor. It was Auric’s opponent, Nicholas.

’Well... do you expect me to perform after he’s shown something like this?’ Nicholas raised his hand and said, ”I forfeit the challenge.”
