The Genius Evolution Store

”Now that we’re done with all the mess, I am really craving this.” Auric smiled while taking a bite of the ice cream.

”I thought you were going to ask for alcohol.” Katarina chuckled while holding her smoothie.

”I don’t really like alcohol. Call me a sweet tooth or a baby, but I’d rather drink juices or maybe some carbonated drinks.” Auric rolled his eyes.

”Well, both drinks will kill you slowly. Your choice just kills you slower.” Katarina shrugged.

”It’s fine. I’m not in a hurry.”

Katarina raised her eyebrows before laughing as she finally understood what he was talking about.

”Remind me to buy a wine collection for him.” Ellia pointed at Auric.

”Why? Alcohol is good.” Vera asked while scooping her ice cream.

”I just don’t like it. Staying sober is good.” Auric shrugged. ”Anyway, Ellia, I’m thinking about closing that store. I am thinking about moving it from Dermania to Lech-Aistia or Granda. Will that be a problem?”

”What store?” Vera tilted her head in confusion.

Ellia acted as if she hadn’t heard Vera. She replied, ”Well, just tell me where the new one is. I will have to adjust a few things, but generally, there won’t be much of a problem. Is this country not that good anymore? Never mind, after what happened, it’ll be weird if you choose to remain.”

”Yeah.” Auric turned to Katarina. ”So, what do you think?”

Katarina looked up, pondering. ”When do you want to do it? I can close it and re-open it in three days.”

”For now, we will wait one week after this, so it doesn’t look like I’m doing it in retaliation.”

”Hey, guys. What store are you three talking about?” Vera frowned, not knowing anything about Auric’s store. The only store in her mind was the Night and Day Store.

However, the Night and Day Store was located on Esfrata, not Dermania.

Auric just waved his hand, gesturing to Vera that it wasn’t a big deal.

Katarina raised two fingers. ”Still, are you going to open it in Lech-Aistia or Granda? Pick one?”

Ellia interjected, ”You don’t have to choose one actually. If you really want, you can open it in both countries. Granda has a better economy and is safer due to their location. Lech-Aistia might be more dangerous, but they will need it the most. After all, Lech-Aistia is the country with the longest border with the beast territory.”

”Won’t it be a problem to open the stores in those two countries?” Auric frowned.

”Not really. Everything is manageable. Besides, this will be retaliation, so it’s good to make them regret their decision.”

Katarina nodded in agreement. ”I can’t help but agree with Ellia on this one. That family was doing some suspicious things. I couldn’t figure out what they were planning yet, but it would probably be something we wouldn’t like. I suggest we move it as quickly as possible.”

”Which family?” Ellia frowned.

”Ashavatalia.”

”Oh, that!” Ellia looked up, recalling their information in her mind. ”They’re a powerful family. Did something happen?”

”They just happened to encounter the store and purchase the item. I’m just worried that they’re doing things, like using the copyright against us, or leaking the content.”

”I see.” Ellia nodded in understanding. ”If it’s up to me, I would go with Lech-Aistia and Granda immediately. However, I will push the advertisement in Lech-Aistia because they’re much bolder.

”Then, I will secretly leak the information about the Ashavatalia family, pointing to them as the reason for leaving the country.

”That alone wouldn’t be enough to kick them in the balls, but if I’m not wrong, their lazy successor is in this training camp...” Ellia glanced at Katarina.

”Yep. Theodore Ashavatalia was the top candidate after Antonio Sastre. Besides, Irine Ashavatalia might be searching for something according to her family’s will.” Katarina nodded with a serious expression.

”In that case, just beat up this guy and deal a blow to their reputation. Then, use that store to leak information about them. That will be enough to weaken them severely. A family like this definitely has a lot of enemies. Their enemies will do the rest for us. That’s how I will do things.” Ellia raised both hands. ”Of course, this is your store, so you should decide.”

”I’m a rather peaceful person. If it’s not necessary, there’s no need to do it. Besides, I don’t intend to put an advertisement on this store. I will just let it grow naturally.” Auric shrugged. ”However, since you think it’s fine to establish the store in those two countries, I guess I will do just that.”

”You’re not going to the UK? I guess not.” Katarina recalled what happened on the first day. It wasn’t a conflict, but it definitely made a bad impression.

”Yeah, not at the moment.” Auric nodded. ”Besides, there are still the Great America Base and the United Asia Base. There are still a lot of options to explore.”

”Fair enough.” Katarina nodded. ”In that case, I will begin with the procedure so that we can establish everything one week from now.”

Ellia smiled. ”Since you’re quite peaceful, let me do that job for you. I’m going to challenge Theodore Ashavatalia in this event.”

”Oh. Both of you are Rank 3, so it won’t be that suspicious, especially since there’s already a conflict between Dermania and Esfrata.”

”Seriously, guys. I’m feeling left out.” Vera pouted.

Ellia sighed and raised one finger. ”Basically, you are free to challenge Clarice Estella first. I will challenge her during the universal challenge on the last two days.”

”Oh, fine then.” Vera nodded.

”Ehm...” Auric scratched the back of his head.

”You don’t have to say anything.” Ellia waved her hand. ”I’ve made up my mind.”

Katarina gave a thumbs-up. She couldn’t fight against Theodore Ashavatalia because she was Rank 4 while Theo was Rank 3. If she challenged him, she would lose her reputation.

Ellia, on the other hand, would be a perfect person to challenge him. It wouldn’t create any suspicion like Auric.

Auric sighed. There was no stopping Ellia after this.

”Just focus on your own challenge. I will take care of this.” Ellia raised one finger. ”Besides, won’t it be good if you can fight Antonio? Now that Gloria is out of the picture, Antonio will most likely have the spotlight as the strongest Rank 3 student from Dermania.

”In addition, Theodore’s name will become quite famous as well. Hence, you just have to defeat Antonio. I will take care of the number two.” Ellia winked playfully.

Auric wanted to challenge a lot of people. Originally, Gloria was one of the targets. He wanted to learn her element as well.

Other than her, Antonio’s phoenix fire, Theressa’s sun flame, Timothy’s pure water, and Selena’s life attribute were among the ones he wanted.

Besides, he also intended to challenge Nicholas, the only gold-grade evolution master on this trip. There were simply too many targets, so it was good to have some time to recharge.

Auric just raised both hands, giving up on arguing. ”I will be careful.”

”Oh! Fancy meeting you here!” They suddenly heard a female voice coming from the left.

They stopped talking and turned their heads, wondering who was coming to them.

”Selena Bellegarde.” Katarina narrowed her eyes.

”Hello, hello!” Selena waved her hands cheerfully, not caring whether they were from different countries or not.

”What are you doing here?” Katarina crossed her arms.

”This is our free time. Can’t I be here and greet you guys? It’s not like there’s any conflict between us.” Selena chuckled.

”I can’t be so sure, especially when a mafia was saying that.” Katarina shook her head.

”Oi, oi. Are you talking about his teacher?” Selena pointed at Auric. ”How rude of you to talk to someone’s teacher like that...”

”See? This is what I’m talking about.” Katarina smiled.

”...” Katarina and Selena looked at each other. Actually, both of them had clashed in a place where no one was watching.

Katarina had been expanding her information network and making sure that she had ears in this city as well. She had a hard time because of Selena.

That was why this might be the first time they met, but they couldn’t exactly get along.

Auric’s expression turned serious. ”Well, would you be willing to share your intention with us, Miss Selena?”

”Oh, my. You’re so polite. That’s cute. Just call me Selena. I don’t mind explaining it, but I wonder if you’d like to accompany me over a glass of cocktail?” Selena winked playfully.

”I don’t drink.”

”That’s even cuter. In that case, I wonder if you have any interest in a sugar mommy. If you do, what do you think about becoming my sugar baby? I will take care of you.” Selena smiled.

”That’s a rather bold statement. If he needs a sugar mommy, I should be the one.” Ellia narrowed her eyes.

”Ellia Stroph Astler... do you think you can even do that? Your money is your family’s money.”

”Some of my companies are my family’s companies, but all my money is mine.” Ellia harrumphed. ”I have more money than you. I can spoil him rotten. Where exactly are you better than me? Strength? I don’t mind having a sparring match.”

”A sparring match? This is why you’re a brute. Are you sure you can spoil him rotten? I’m afraid that’s just your obsession. Besides, you asked me where I am better than you, right?” Selena slid her fingers from her shoulder down to her stomach, tracing the curve of her body. ”Here. I am better than you.”

”...” Ellia’s eyebrows twitched.

”You guys really know how to argue.” Katarina chuckled. ”Don’t you know that Auric’s parents have already arranged a fiancee for him? That was what his mother told me the last time I visited her.”

”WHAT?!”
