The First Store System

Chapter 1536: Ancient Glorious City(7)

The enemies in the audience were no threat to Aakesh, but every character on the stage gave him chills.

The mother was the strongest, with her strength being at the Sacred Monarch level, if compared to the power system of the Sacred Dimension.

Unless Aakesh took help from the system, there was no way for him to defeat the mother, but Aakesh didnʼt need that.

He only needed to move out, so a black ball of energy immediately appeared in his hands. He simply threw it on the stage and rushed outside.

He had already grabbed Lily and Khaval before running. In less than a moment, they were at the exit point, but before he could complete the last step, an invisible force pushed on him.

Aakesh felt as if the entire mass of the universe was pushed on him, forcing him to stop.

The mother had exited the stage and had reached Aakesh at that point. As the sense of death was about to envelop him, Aakesh unleashed whatever he could and threw himself out.

Bang!

The next moment, he appeared outside the building while a sense of gloom covered the entire structure.

Aakesh could see the mother looking at him from the inside with her eyes burning with anger. He ignored it and focused on his left shoulder.

There was a dent, and some part of his shoulder was burned. He could only breathe a sigh of relief since he was already that injured when the fight didnʼt even occur.

Lily and Khaval both looked angry with each other since it was Aakesh saving them and getting injured.

Rumble!

Suddenly, the sky above the city rumbled. It was night in the city, matching the sky of Thorr City, but suddenly, the clear sky became pitch black as dark clouds enveloped the sky.

Aakesh ignored his injury, which had started to recover, and focused on Lily with a surprised expression.

Yellow thunder seemed to flash in the sky, and suddenly, it struck Lily.

Lily stood there and faced the thunder with her bare body. The strike failed to cause any injuries, but after that, a rain of thunderstrikes took place in the area.

One after another strike hit Lily. In no time, hundreds of yellow thunderbolts had struck Lilyʼs different body parts.

Aakesh stood there silently, while Khaval looked worried about Lilyʼs safety.

The situation in the theater influenced Lily so much that the breakthrough that should have come months later arrived early.

After an hour of straight torture, Lily was covered in blood, but the sky showed no signs of stopping.

Passing a tribulation to step into the True God level wasnʼt an oddity but a rare phenomenon; only those who had immense talent faced tribulations to step into the said level.

After an hour of continuous thunderbolt bombardment, the sky in the city started clearing up. It didnʼt mean that the tribulation had ended, but it was the second phase.

The sky turned yellow, and the next moment, Lily was enveloped in a yellow flame.

Aakesh nodded when he saw the color of the flame. It was on the darker side, which meant even greater talent.

The blood Lily had shed due to the earlier round of bombardment got vaporized by fire, and a burnt smell appeared.

Getting burned by fire wasnʼt a long-duration trial, and it ended in a minute.

Lilyʼs bones could be seen after the fire disappeared. The yellow sky turned golden the next moment, and a golden light shone on Lily after that.

It wasnʼt part of the tribulation but the reward after successfully passing the danger.

In the presence of the golden light, Lilyʼs injury started to recover at a rapid rate while her life level began breaking through the Divine Lord level.

Her inner world automatically emerged from her body and floated above her head. It took the remaining reward since the better the upgrade of the inner world, the more stable the foundation of a cultivator.

Aakesh could see the insides of Lilyʼs inner world. The usual surface area of a peak Divine Lordʼs inner world was between one thousand and fifteen hundred square miles. The talented ones had above two thousand but were still lower than three thousand.

Lilyʼs inner world had a surface area of five thousand sq. miles, equal to what a True God level cultivator had.

Due to the influence of the golden light, the area started growing at a crazy rate while the laws of the world became more stable. Since True Godʼs inner world could give birth to cultivators, the law needed to be incredibly stable.

A few minutes later, the sky returned to normal, but Lilyʼs inner world was still growing. It finally stopped expanding after its surface area touched the ten thousand mark.

Usually, someone who was about to break through to the intermediate True God level had that kind of inner world. Lily had the same area right after her breakthrough.

Aakesh nodded in appreciation since Lily didnʼt disappoint him. The inner world then flew back to Lily, and her life level started growing once again.

A few minutes later, she finally stepped into the True God level, becoming the first in their group to achieve that level.

”Congratulations, Sister!”

Khaval congratulated Lily as she opened her eyes. Lily nodded and then looked at herself and then Aakesh.

Lily remarked, ”I will protect you because I am the strongest person in our group right now.”

Aakesh nodded and smiled in response to her. He didnʼt want to put Lily down, so he didnʼt tell her about his strength.

Aakesh was only at the peak of the Divine Lord, but his attributes were equal to those of a veteran True God level cultivator between late and peak True God. It wasnʼt about average cultivators but the attributes of the talented ones.

Lily decided to take the lead and stepped forward, but before that, she looked at the building they had come out of.

Aakesh didnʼt try to stop her and looked around, trying to distinguish anything different about the inside from the outside.
