Chapter 1466 The Sixth Pill’s Quest(9)

Chapter 1466: The Sixth Pillʼs Quest(9)

Aakesh listened to all the pills Grustin needed. Once he had completed his list, Aakesh stood up from his chair and walked toward the pill counter.

He then pulled out the required number and types of pills one by one. Once he was done, he stopped and returned to his chair.

”You need to pay three thousand… Sacred stones,” Aakesh expressionlessly informed Grustin. Since Grustinʼs purchase varied from higher-level pills to King-level pills, the price wasnʼt a small amount.

Grustin seemed to have already been prepared for it, so he took out the required amount of stones and pushed toward the store owner.

Aakesh nodded and waved his hand. The next moment, the small mountain of Sacred stones disappeared from the store, and immediately after, a mechanical alert rang inside Aakeshʼs head, informing him of the correct amount and sale completion.

”The pills are yours,” Aakesh informed Grustin, handing him more than fifty pills.

[Ding!]

Immediately after, Aakehs was bombarded with one mechanical alert after another. But since there were customers ahead of him, he put it on the back burner.

Time flew by, and a few hours passed in a flash.

Aakesh finally had some free time, so he decided to check the alerts.

[Ding!]

[Host, congratulations on completing the ”Mission Objective: Sell Pills” successfully! The sale commission has been transferred to you.]

[The ”Mission Reward: Ten new pill types addition in all Lesser, Higher, and King grades” will be given after the storeʼs closing!]

[Please see the following screen for your sixth pillʼs quest!]

The next moment, a blue window containing the details of the sixth pillʼs quest appeared in front of him.

[Mission Sequence: Sixth

Objective: Sell pills,

Detail: With Grustinʼs purchase, the store had met all of the previous sales requirements for the fifth pill quest. Since we are just getting started, now is not the time to celebrate. Work even more diligently to make more and more customers interested in the product.

Number of pills you need to sell: 100,000,000,000,000 (each category),

Days required: 3,600,000 days,

Mission reward: Emperor Grade pills,

Failure Punishment: The random disappearance of fifteen types of pills and the sales commission will turn to 0 at the eligible productʼs sale for the next one thousand years.]

Aakesh heard all the alerts and soon focused on the blue screen in front of him. The questʼs requirements had grown a thousandfold, and the mission wanted the store to sell 100 trillion pills for each category.

After the reward today, the number of pills available for sale would go to ninety, with thirty types each in all three grades. Keeping in mind that change, the store would need to sell a total of 9000 trillion pills, which was 1500 times more than the fifth quest, whereas the deadline to do it had only grown by a hundred times to ten thousand years.

Aakesh didnʼt worry much about the high requirement since the store was growing at a vastly higher rate than the questʼs conditions. He then looked at the reward section, and as was sequentially expected, it was the addition of the Emperor level of pills. The Emperor level of pills was used for the cultivators between the Sacred King and Monarch levels.

Aakesh only took a casual glance at the failure punishment and waved his hands since he was confident in completing the quest. The next moment, the screen disappeared, waiting for him to call it back again.

Aakesh was going to close his eyes to relax when he heard the sound of footsteps approaching him.

He turned in the direction of the footsteps and found it was a customer coming toward him from the beast room.

Ruhun had no particular expression on his face as he exited the beast room with the Purple Mantigre beast card in his hand.

It had been twenty years since he entered the store and summoned the beast. The first taming battle resulted in a draw, so Ruhun gave up on the beast.

He returned to the store the next year and initiated another taming battle. The result remained the same.

Not only was Ruhun growing, but the Purple Mantigre was also growing in strength since it retained the memory of earlier battles. It was done to keep the challenge of taming battles alive and not just simulated victories.

After the second draw, Ruhun would return to the store once every year and initiate the taming battle.

He failed to win but never lost as well, continuing the streak of draws. Finally, the result changed in the 21st battle, and Ruhun became the victor. It wasnʼt as overwhelming as he wanted, but since the system didnʼt care about that, the second step of beast owning was complete.

”Aakesh, I want to complete the purchase,” Ruhun indifferently asked Aakesh.

Time flew by, and hours flashed in the blink of an eye.

As the sun began to set, darkness began to envelop the sky of the Thorr and its nearby cities. With it, the time for the store to close also arrived.

After Autumn and Katrina left, Aakesh walked to the storeʼs door and shut it down, bringing an end to another fruitful day for the store.

[Ding!]

[Host, the Ten new pill types addition to all Lesser, Higher, and King grades have been successfully rewarded!]

As soon as Aakesh turned around, the systemʼs mechanical, emotionless voice informing him of the reward for the quest rang inside his head.

The next moment, a blue light covered the pill counter, and Aakesh could see the counter growing through his naked eyes.

After the process ended, the light disappeared, and the grown pill counter appeared in the sight of the three of Aakesh, Lily, and Khaval.

It hadnʼt grown vertically but horizontally since the number of shelves had grown by ten to match the newly obtained pills.

Aakesh then stepped forward and walked toward the counter to check the newly obtained pills. He had gotten ten new types of pills for all three levels, so he first started from the bottom row, referring to lesser level pills.
