Chapter 1447 (8) Meeting with Hannah(22)

Chapter 1447: Meeting with Hannah(22)

”Why do you want to meet me?” Hannah sweetly asked.

She was wearing a white shirt and a tight red skirt that touched her feet. There was a slit in the skirt, starting from her left knee. She had used beautiful colors on her face that accentuated her beauty. Since Hannah had to meet Philly, she had prepared herself well.

Even though she was sleeping with the father, that was something that couldnʼt be known to anyone, so she needed to act sweetly in front of Philly.

Philly had an endearing smile on his face since the illusion version of him was obsessed with Hannah.

He sat down on the sofa and then tapped his thighs, gesturing for Hannah to sit. The smile on Hannahʼs face grew wider as she followed the gesture. She then added to it and rubbed his crotch.

Philly angrily cursed in his heart since she was aware of Hannahʼs workings. But since he had a purpose for coming here, he also joined the play.

He stroked her from the bottom and then reached above. As his hand was about to reach her face, he suddenly stopped, and the knife appeared in his hand.

It was only a few millimeters away from touching her throat. Hannah finally reacted, and her face turned pale, drained of all her blood.

Hannah didnʼt try to act randomly since she was aware of the knife in Phillyʼs hand.

”When did you find out?” Hannah calmly asked. There was no hint of familiarity in her voice as if she were talking to some stranger.

Hannah realized the reason behind Philyʼs actions was the truth of her and Philyʼs fatherʼs relationship.

”Speak only the answers.” Philly ignored Hannahʼs question and coldly whispered in her ears.

Hannah shuddered since it was the first time she had seen Philly act like that. She could even accept Philly threatening her with the knife since he was crazy and arrogant, but talking that coldly wasnʼt something he could do.

Hannah wanted to ask who Philly was, but she didnʼt dare to since the threat whispered by him still lingered in her head.

She forcefully calmed down and commented, ”What do you want to know?”

”Where is the treasury?” Philly asked.

Hannah froze when he heard the question. It took everything in her will to stop herself from turning around and staring at Phillyʼs face since he had given him too much surprise.

”Wrong answer, and you die,” Philly added. With only the simple touch of a knife on her throat, Hannah would die due to the cursed effect of the weapon, so she had no way of surviving the situation.

”I donʼt know-”

Puchi!

The next moment, a blood spurt cut Hannahʼs sentence midway. Terror engulfed Hannahʼs soul, but when she found that she was still alive after the attack, she looked down and noticed that the knife was still there.

”Next time, my knife will taste your blood,” Philly coldly warned.

***

Philly couldnʼt kill Hannah since he didnʼt want to alert his father, so he left her alive after forcing her to take an oath using the knife as the source. The moment she told any fourth person about what happened between her and Philly, she would be dead.

Philly succeeded in finding the location of the treasury, and it was something unexpected. There was a space coordinate connecting the treasury beneath Phillyʼs house.

Philly also learned the truth of a scheme about himself from Hannah. She and the father had that immoral relationship before she was chosen as Phillyʼs fiance.

The father chose Hannah since the treasury wasnʼt purely owned by his father. His dead mother was the half-owner, and there were valuable items in the treasury that only Philly or his blood descendant could control. The knife was one such item. It was his motherʼs powerful weapon. Hannah was the fatherʼs way to control both Philly and his children, if he were to ever have one.

Philly immediately returned to his residence, and following Hannahʼs words, he activated the space coordinate. The next moment, a storm erupted and his room was destroyed.

At the same time, Phillyʼs father opened his eyes from his meditation. The father frowned and turned to his left.

Peering through the space, the father could see the scenes of Philly activating the space portal.

”YOU BASTARD!”

The father screamed angrily and disappeared from his residence. The next moment, he walked out of the void, staring coldly at Philly.

Phillyʼs heart froze when he saw his father appear out of nowhere. He realized there was no way to keep this charade anymore, so he didnʼt waste a moment and stepped inside the portal.

The father felt his heart sink in anger, and at the same time, he also followed inside.

The treasury wasnʼt a treasury filled with valuable items; it was a world in itself with its own laws and rules.

After stepping inside the portal, Philly appeared in an ice field. The world was divided into two fields, ice and fire. The mother controlled the icy side, while the father owned the fiery portion.

Philly hadnʼt even looked around when he sensed his fatherʼs presence approaching him. He knew there was no way he could run from a Sacred Emperor, so he stopped there and waited.

The next moment, the father appeared next to Philly.

”What are you doing?” The father grabbed Philly up and angrily asked.

He was about to slap when the energy grew crazy, and not long after, a woman made of ice appeared in the air.

Phillyʼs eyes jumped in excitement since the woman was his dead mother. The ice woman coldly looked at the father and asked, ”How dare you think of hitting your son?”

”Hmph, since when has a projection become crazy enough to scold me?” The father scoffed and coldly stared at the ice woman.

The ice woman didnʼt back away despite being stared at by someone way stronger than her. Even though the father was more powerful, she was the master of the icy field and had an undue advantage. The most the father could do was defeat her.

Despite his being angry, the father didnʼt act against the ice woman since it controlled the icy side and could make things complicated for him.
