Chapter 1424 Dungeon(3)

Chapter 1424: Dungeon(3)

Aakesh returned to the dungeon, with the wall no longer blocking him. Warm energy rushed through his body, increasing his strength.

The process kept going for a while since his attributes were seeing a large change. After a few minutes, the rush of warm energy disappeared, and Aakeshʼs status screen appeared on its own.

…

Level: Level 320,

HP: 226,000/226,000,

Energy: 226,000/226,000,

Physical attributes:

Strength: 7,586 (+1,100),

Agility: 7,570 (+1,100),

Intelligence: -0-,

Endurance: -0-,

…

Aakesh nodded since the betting gain made his power level touch 320, while his strength and agility crossed the mark of 7500 units.

Not only had he gained level, but his exhausted energy and health had also returned to full. He then waved his hands, and the status screen disappeared.

Aakesh then focused on the path ahead of him. The wall had disappeared, and a forked path had taken its place. It was a three-way street, with Aakesh having to choose one.

Unlike the last time, Aakesh sensed danger emanating from all three paths, and it was of the same intensity. Since Aakesh had no idea what kind of danger awaited him on the other side, he again chose randomly and decided to walk through the first street.

Making his decision, Aakesh raised his foot and took the first step on the road. The next moment, a wave of chilly wind hit his face.

When Aakesh took another step, the intensity of the wind grew, with some projectiles mixed in the already chilling storm. Aakesh indifferently walked ahead, and once he reached the fiftieth step, he was left with no choice but to activate a defensive shield.

His body was no longer able to handle the chilly storm on its own. What was more dangerous was that the projectiles mixed in the storm had a freezing amplification effect.

Wherever on his body the projectile hit, it would become a source of chill, making Aakesh feel uncomfortable. Aakesh knew that if the number of projectiles grew and the temperature of the storm reduced, he would be in serious trouble.

To solve that, Aakesh decided to walk as fast as possible. Once he reached the seventy-fifth step, the shield around him was unable to handle the storm and projectiles, as even it was slowly getting frozen while chill seeped inside Aakeshʼs bone, who was inside the barrier.

Aakesh immediately enhanced the shield by adding two new layers to it, making it a three-layered shield. When he reached the ninetieth step, he was covered in a ten-layer shield.

With every new step, he needed to add another layer to the shield. And even after doing that, his body still felt cold.

Even though Aakesh had used so many layers of shield, he wasnʼt very worried about the cold. At his best, he could activate a three-hundred-layer shield, and compared to that number, ten layers was nothing.

Aakesh took another step, activating another layer of shield. When he reached the hundredth step, the storm grew violent like never before, and the shields around Aakesh began to freeze, and then they turned into powder.

At that moment, Aakesh sensed immense danger to his life, immediately activating ten layers of shield. He kept at it until the storm stopped breaking any more layers.

If not for his quick reaction after reaching the hundredth step, Aakesh would have been in grave trouble from the destruction caused by the chilly storm.

Once the storm subsided, the chilly wind began to slowly fade, and soon, the temperature returned to normal. Aakesh deactivated the shield and looked at what was waiting for him.

It was a wall that had appeared immediately after the stormʼs disappearance. It also had murals, and when Aakesh focused on it, the familiar routine played out. The mural detailed a simple scene of vast icy plains.

A strong suction force emerged from the mural and sucked Aakesh inside. The next moment, Aakesh found himself in an icy field.

Aakeshʼs vision was partially blocked by the snow in the air, but he could make silhouettes of structures not very far from him. The temperature was still below his bearable range, so he didnʼt feel uncomfortable there and walked toward the closest structure he saw.

Even though it seemed close, Aakesh had to walk more than an hour to reach the structure. It wasnʼt a building but a tall platform with stairs to climb to the top.

Aakesh didnʼt immediately climb up the stairs but looked around. He could still see silhouettes of different structures that looked similar to what the platform looked like from afar.

Aakesh had two choices at that moment. He could either go to the top or he could search for another platform. Since exploration was the key to finding things, Aakesh decided to go the other way, and he climbed up the stairs.

It was an immensely tall platform with more than a hundred steps. Each step was ten times larger than Aakesh, so he had to jump from every lower step.

Once Aakesh set foot on the stairs, he found that his skills were blocked, so he could only use his physical strength to reach the top. His attributes were more than enough, so it only took him a few seconds before he reached the top.

When he reached the top, Aakesh found a plain, icy field way bigger than what could be seen from the outside. Whoever was the creator used a space expansion system to enlarge it.

The wind speed was higher while it was heavily snowing, resulting in a severe drop in temperature. It was still below the bearable limit, so Aakesh indifferently walked forward.

Even though it was heavily snowing and Aakesh couldnʼt use any skills, an ice hut was visible to him. It was a few miles away from him, and it only took him around two seconds to reach there.

Once Aakesh reached there, he finally saw a second life in the area. An Ice Yeti was standing outside the ice hut as its guard, and when it saw Aakesh, it growled and immediately pounced, having no interest in conversing with Aakesh.

When Aakesh saw the Yeti charging at him, he calmly stood there, and once the Yeti was only a step away from him, Aakesh punched.
