Chapter 1419 Spurctic Race!

Chapter 1419: Spurctic Race!

The next moment, Aakesh, Lily, and Khaval appeared in the selection area.

More than three years had passed, so Khavalʼs face was filled with excitement, while Lily showed no change in her expression.

The two of them then chose their respective training areas and then disappeared from the selection area.

Once they left, the smile on Aakeshʼs face disappeared, replaced by his usual indifference. Years had passed for Lily and Khaval, but for Aakesh, it was only one day of absence.

Aakesh deactivated all his senses except for direction and walked toward the weapon counter.

He picked up the weapon available to him and then walked to the selection switch.

After he pressed the switch, the space around Aakesh cracked, forming a space portal. The next moment, he was sucked inside the portal.

As Aakesh activated all his senses, he found himself back in the familiar battle arena.

The weapon he had gotten for the day was a bow. The next moment, the regular blue screen popped out in front of him with several options, like before.

Roar!

A roar aimed at Aakesh suddenly rang in the area, causing Aakesh to look in that direction.

Aakesh looked to his left and saw his opponent for the day.

The creature stood ten meters tall, with a hunched back and a single leg. It had two pairs of hands, with sharp, pointed tips spread across the beingʼs metal skin at fixed intervals.

It had an enormous head, almost double the size of its shoulders, and sharp, dense brown hair. It had a pair of eyes with vertical slits—a combination of brown sclera and metallic pupils.

Its eyes expressed nothing but menace as the creature stared at Aakesh and released another roar.

Aakesh recognized the race of the creature immediately and nodded since the battle was going to be challenging.

The creature belonged to the Spurctic race. It was an extinct race of the Sacred Dimension. It was a battle-loving race known for their remarkable talent in combat.

The Spurctics were one of the many races to go extinct during the war waged by Vritrasura. Despite their menacing and evil appearance, the Spurctics were in another camp, firmly waging war against the armies of Vritrasura. Their remarkable talent became their enemy and caused the army to use everything at their disposal to eliminate every member of the race.

***

Aakesh reflexively tapped on the blue screen, and the next moment, it disappeared.

Ding!

The familiar sound of the bell rang in the area, announcing the start of the first round of battle.

The opponent roared and made its move, but unfortunately for it, its opponent was overwhelmingly powerful, and even before the sound of the bell and roar could disappear, a blood cloud appeared in place of the creature.

A blue light washed over the arena, and time came to a standstill. The blue screen reappeared with the same number of options.

Aakesh tapped on the screen, ready to face another battle. The second battle faced the same result as the creature immediately turned into a blood cloud before the sound of the bell could dissipate.

Time flew by, and minutes passed in the blink of an eye.

Whoosh!

An arrow flew, tearing through the air and striking the heart of the creature.

Thud!

The next moment, the creature crashed to the ground with its eyes completely dimming. Another battle came to an end with that.

A green light covered Aakeshʼs face, and the small cut on his left cheek immediately healed.

After that, the familiar blue screen popped out, and Aakesh chose the same option as usual, to go to the next battle.

The battle was increasing in intensity at a rapid rate, but it was still far from a level where Aakesh needed to fully concentrate and use everything in his arsenal.

More time flew by, and battles between Aakesh and the Spurctics kept happening one after another, with Aakesh overwhelmingly winning all of them.

Aakeshʼs cultivation was the same as before, but his strength had grown immensely after the scenes that played out the day before for him. Round 280 could have given him a challenge a day before, but now he crushed the opponent at that level.

When it was time for the 286th round, Aakesh finally felt some sense of danger from the Spurctics, increasing his battle intent.

Ding!

The familiar ringing sound echoed in the ears of two opponents, but it hadnʼt even subsided when Aakesh had shot hundreds of arrows, with each aiming to pierce through different body parts of the Spurctic.

Roar!

The Spurctic unleashed an angry roar and pushed back the arrow, flying at him. The creature disappeared from its spot, appeared right behind Aakesh, and slashed.

Instead of ripping Aakeshʼs head, an arrow clashed with the slash, and Aakesh disappeared from the location. He appeared a mile away from the spot and immediately shot hundreds of arrows, with each arrow strong enough to tear apart the Spurctic of the 280th round.

The Spurctic showed no expression, looking at the numerous arrows. It swiped its right hand in the empty air.

The next moment, the sharp, pointed tip of its hand lit up and released invisible beams of wind.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

A loud sound rang in the area as the invisible beams clashed with the numerous arrows. At that moment, Aakesh had shot three arrows.

The three arrows looked different from each other, having different arrowheads. Their direction wasnʼt the creature but the sky.

After reaching a distance of several hundred miles in the sky, the three arrows began to rotate around each other, each releasing energy. The three different colors started combining with each other, forming a drill in the sky.

The three arrows were fully engulfed in the assimilation. The Spurctic sensed danger from the scene playing out in the sky, so it acted, creating a wave of defense for itself.

The next moment, the drill formed by the three arrows changed direction, charging at the Spurctic.

Boom!

A loud sound rang in the area as it clashed with the waves of defenses raised by the creature. The drill kept breaking through one wall after another and succeeded in reaching the creature.
