The First Store System

Chapter 1147: The Sixth Product(1)

The time was like a continuous stream that had no mountains blocking it. It kept flowing, and time kept passing.

Seconds turned into minutes, minutes turned into hours, hours turned into days, days turned into weeks, weeks turned into months, months turned into years, and just like that, several years passed in the blink of an eye.

As the sun rose on Thorr and its nearby cities, the most popular building in the city also opened its doors to customers.

Aakesh stood at the gate, and as usual, a large crowd of customers welcomed his sight, so much so that the range of several hundred meters was filled with people who wanted to enter the store.

As Aakesh opened the doors, a hint of excitement spread across their faces. Aakesh didnʼt let them wait for long, turned around, and returned to his chair.

As the customers flooded the store like a raging tide, the first 13,148 customers to step foot inside the store were shrouded in golden light, while the remaining fifty thousand plus customers were left behind.

The customers who werenʼt covered in golden light couldnʼt help but become disappointed, while the case for those inside the golden light was the opposite.

Out of the 13,148 customers, those who own the cards, barring a few, went toward the portal room, while the remaining joined the queue to pay Aakesh.

”Hello, store owner!” Maria respectfully greeted Aakesh, as she was the first in line.

Aakesh nodded in response to her greetings. She then turned around and left for the portal room since she owned a Higher Store Card.

Time flew by, and soon the queue to enter Panagea was clean.

Autumn and Katrina failed to get their spots in the first group, so they went to Aakesh and soon sat down on their respective chairs. The other store customers had already gotten used to their presence, so they no longer felt surprised by the fact that the store owner treated someone else with an indifferent response.

”Ah, I miss Khaval,” Katrina suddenly commented since she and Khaval had become good friends in the past few years.

Aakesh nodded since he also missed Khaval, but just last night, Khaval also asked to enter Panagea, so after paying a large sum of his commission to the system, Aakesh got an extra virtual portal for Khaval.

Aakeshʼs room now had two virtual portals that would be filled the entire day.

Aakesh wasnʼt worried about Khavalʼs safety since he had a different character than Lily. Khaval was more like him, indifferent toward others but close to his family. Khaval would know what to do and at what time. Even though he was only a newborn, considering the lifespan of Chaos Whales, his emotional and logical intelligence was very high.

”He had his ambitions like Lily,” Aakesh responded and focused on the customers waiting in line.

Katrina scoffed and closed her eyes, sleeping to pass the time. Autumn, on the other hand, had a pondering face as she was thinking about the events in Panagea.

Time flew by, and around an hour had passed since Aakesh had opened the store for the day.

[Ding!]

Aakesh was currently tending to a new customer when suddenly the systemʼs alert rang in his ears. Aakesh ignored it for the moment and kept his focus on the customer.

”Yes, Panagea has different prices for different stay hours,” Aakesh answered the man since like the majority of the new customers, the man was interested in Panagea.

Aakesh then informed the man of the prices of the different stay hours and also informed him about the lack of spots to enter Panagea for the moment while pointing at the waiting corner.

***

After the man left, Aakesh returned his focus to the systemʼs alerts since no customers were approaching him.

The next moment, several mechanical, emotionless alerts bombarded his head.

Ding!

[Host, congratulations on completing the ”Mission Objective: Sell Weapons and Training Area Hours” successfully! The commission for the sale has been transferred to you.]

[The ”Mission Reward: Availability for King Level Weapons and Training Areas for Sale” will be given after the storeʼs closing!]

[Please see the following screen for your fifth weaponʼs quest!]

The next moment, a blue screen containing the details of the fifth weaponʼs quest appeared in front of Aakesh.

[Mission Sequence: Fifth

*- (2,000,000,000,000 trivial, normal, moderate, or difficult) training hours = 400,000,000,000 Immortal training hours = 100,000,000,000 Gods and Demons training hours = 1,000,000 Primordial training hours.)

A smile spread across his face after hearing the alerts. Aakesh looked at the screen, nodding in appreciation since it had been years since Aakesh heard those alerts ringing in his ears.

Aakesh focused on the screen, and as he had expected, the difficulty had grown by thousand times while the deadline had only grown by ten times.

Aakeshʼs smile turned wider when he looked at the screen depicting the different requirements of the training hours. The Primordial level training area had finally become available, and compared to the other requirements, it was nothing. Even the lowest requirement hours were 100 billion hours for the Gods & Demons level training area, while the store only needed to complete 1 million Primordial training hours to complete the hourʼs requirement.

From that, it could be shown that there was bound to be difficulty in selling it. As for what the difficulty would be, Aakesh would know after the storeʼs closing since only then would it be available in the store.

Aakesh then waved his hands, and soon after, the screen containing the quest disappeared, waiting for him to call it back.
