The First Store System

Chapter 1139: Once a Top Race!

”Should I enter the store?” The man asked with a pondering face as he stood in front of the ordinary building with the First Store written in bold letters.

The man was Visca, a human, who mistakenly came here.

Humanity was a race that was once one of the top races, but currently, it was an upper mid-tier race since the strongest human in the Sacred Dimension was only the Sacred Emperor.

There were several territories in different parts of the Sacred Dimension under human control, but everyone in the dimension knew about the planet Farren.

The reason for its fame was that the planet Farren housed the humans when they were one of the top races, with the Sacred Creators leading them. At that time, Arjuna was the Sacred Creator, and he had established a human organization that was headquartered in Farren.

After Arjuna ascended to the Primordial Dimension, humanity retained its spot for some time, but due to the lack of a character like Arjuna, it started to fall.

The power difference in the Sacred Dimension wasnʼt that wide when it came to the peak Sacred Creators. It wasnʼt that some were weak and some were strong, like immortals in the Primal Dimension. But things were entirely different. Every Sacred Creator was undefeatable by other Sacred Creators due to their overwhelming strength.

During Arjunaʼs time, he was one of the strongest, if not the strongest cultivator below the Void Beasts in the Sacred Dimension, so after Arjuna ascended, other Sacred Creators looked at Farren as a treasure ground.

During one such treasure hunt, an item appeared that forced two Sacred Creators to battle, and the aftereffect of that fight turned the beautiful planet, Farren, into ruin.

Whatever scope humanity had left to retain its spot once again disappeared after the end of planet Farren. But then, several billions of years later, a ray of light erupted from the planet, visible to everyone in that Universe.

The ray of light turned out to be an item left by Arjuna. It was a sentient item that would awaken after there would be no Sacred Monarch left in the human race.

The ray of light again caused a frenzy among the top cultivators in the dimension, forcing them to adventure. Soon, it was found that the ruin had become a training ground for humans. Any other race member would be killed as soon as they entered.

Visca was one of the many humans who had been training in the ruin since he was only a child. He had begun there when he was the late Divine Lord, and now he had exited it after becoming a Supreme God.

Visca didnʼt leave the ruin for the store, but any human could only stay inside the ruin for eleven million years, and Visca had exhausted his stay. Since Visca had saved a lot of merit points during his stay of eleven million years, he was able to exchange them for an opportunity.

Visca couldnʼt help but remember the scene before coming here.

Every human could exchange for items before leaving the ruin using the merit points they had. When it was Viscaʼs turn, he was left with a similar choice. A screen had appeared in front of him, considering the number of merit points he had.

As his points were high due to a fortunate event years ago, he had quite a lot of choices in front of him.

At the top of the screen was the first ranked item, and he could exchange by paying three thousand merit points. Each merit point was equivalent to an ultimate Sacred stone. If not for that fortunate event, Visca would also be like others, having one or two merit points left at the time of leaving.

Visca had a total of three thousand seventy-nine merit points, so if he chose the opportunity, it would cost him the majority of his wealth.

Visca was in a conundrum, but soon he decided to take the risk since these kinds of choices determined the fate of the man.

The next moment, the merit points at the left of the screen disappeared to seventy-nine, while the list disappeared. The screen started to separate like a puzzle, and soon, it took the form of a virtual scroll.

Visca had to do nothing as the scroll soon opened. The scroll was blank at first, but soon golden fonts started appearing, forming a sentence.

[The First Store!

Be cautious, for it could also become your doom!]

Visca stood in front of the store. He was pondering since the scroll termed this store as his opportunity, but it also said that it might cause his doom.

”Damn it, did I spend all my merit points for hesitation,” Visca cursed himself for acting like a coward.

Visca had to pay an additional thirty merit points to travel here, so in total, it cost him three thousand thirty merit points. Visca converted the remaining forty-nine merit points into ultimate Sacred stones since he was coming to the store and it would cost him money.

Visca gritted his teeth and stepped forward. He would only know whether it would be an opportunity or doom by stepping inside the store.

”Hello, store owner!” Visca greeted Aakesh. His tone was courteous since the store owner could also cause his doom, so he wanted to steer clear of committing any mistake due to his attitude.

Aakesh nodded in response to the manʼs greeting and stared, waiting for the man to ask the question.

The man didnʼt keep Aakesh waiting for long and asked about the storeʼs products.

”The store currently sells five products, and they are pills, weapons, cultivation arts, beasts, and Panagea…”

Aakesh introduced the five store products and their basic details.

Visca finally understood what was the opportunity the scroll talked about. As soon as the store owner said Panagea, a feeling of joy like never before erupted in his heart.

It was the first time Visca had heard Panagea, so the reaction only meant one thing. There was an opportunity that might change his life waiting for him.
