The Conquerors Path

Chapter 907 905-You Are Too Young.

My senses could pick up how damaged Silva was becoming, her mental state perhaps having denied the truth, and now having the punishment come to her most ruthlessly. It had struck a heavy blow to the mental power she had accumulated over the years. In the end, something like this isnʼt an easy change at all.

On one side, it was her family—the ones who taught her, raised her, and in a sense, shaped her into the woman she is. Her parents had always treated her with love and care, treating her like a gentle princess of theirs. She had no hatred for them. On the other side, it was her best friend and the master she had sworn to follow and take care of.

Someone who had made the other side of her had gone forth to shape the woman she had become, someone she had sworn to follow, protect, and stand behind. So the question arose—revenge would come, but what would Silva be able to do? Which side would she finally have to choose in the end?

ʼNot a very good position for anybody to be in.ʼ

I thought as I looked at the seemingly trembling woman of the past. Even Silva, in her own way, had changed from the young, passionate woman she was. She had made some changes and had gathered a lot of respect in her path. Itʼs not for no reason that even Zora knew the name and face of Silva—someone called quite the genius inventor.

And now, she was no longer of that kind. Her mind wasnʼt as severe as Eleanaraʼs, but now with all this, she wasnʼt far behind from being locked within her own dark room, unable to make a choice. Her fate would end up with her ruining her life with her own hands, just like the situation with Eleanara.

No matter what Eleanara might say, it wouldnʼt change the fact that the main reason for the death of all of Silvaʼs close friends would be herself. Not to mention the choice of what actions she should take in the future. It was a subtle path—any way she took it, it would only end up with pain and sadness for her.

ʼLooks like sheʼs melting into it.ʼ

With such a thought, I finally spoke.

”You know, your friends talk about you...”

My words made Silva flinch, her expression seemingly fighting her desire to know and her desire to not know at all. I smirked at those trembling emotions of hers as I continued.

”They donʼt hate you, you know...”

My words made Silva flinch again, but I could see that she had decided not to listen. If she were to even deeply understand that her friends still believed in her after being taken down by her own family, Silva wouldnʼt be able to stop herself from either going insane or doing something she would regret for the rest of her life.

”Tsk... you are falling.”

I spoke, and with that, I moved forth—the same combination of aura forming around me, but this timeless. I focused more on enhancing the natural aura of innocence my bloodline gave me as I moved closer to her. With my current presence covering me, it was hard for the fragile mind of Silva to react against me. I was basically a completely non-threatening entity that felt good to be near.

Thus, before she could fully grasp the result of the attraction toward me, I took the maid Silva into my arms. Her fragile, small frame filled my arms as I held her in a princess carry, her face now clear for me to see—one filled with pain, tear stains at the edges of her eyes, her eyes puffy from the tears.

Her face was pale, and those sparkling eyes of hers now looked quite dull. Silva had quite beautiful silver hair and shining gem-like dark brown eyes. In all respects, she could be considered a very beautiful woman—one who could easily fit the league of a high-level MILF with all the right proportions.

Her body in my arms didnʼt weigh anything to me as my gaze met the surprised gaze of Silva, who started to struggle a bit dully in my arms.

”Let me go! This isnʼt appropriate!”

Once the shock settled, the truth came. Being taken into my arms wasnʼt something Silva was going to allow—especially into the arms of such a young man, who, in a sense, was holding the love of Nathalia in his arms. I could understand her thoughts, but I wasnʼt letting her slip away easily from my clutch. My hands on her arms and legs tightened as I spoke.

”I heard a lot of stories about you from your friends, and I have come to form an understanding of you based on this. While they gave me their trust, their main wish was for me to see if you two were okay, and I gave my word on it, so...”

As I took a stop at those words, I made Silvaʼs eyes focus on me. The aura of innocence and life now mixed together in a hard path, forming a certain bond around the whole situation. I saw Silva pause—my words and the situation hitting her so that all she could see in front of her was a very innocent and kind young man, trying to stay true to his promise, one who seemingly cared for her and Eleanara.

Thus, my words along with my effect made Silva pause—her body seemingly stuck in my arms as our gazes battled against each other. She was trying to find more into my gaze as I continued.

”So... please stay calm and listen to everything I have to say. Perhaps everything is not as lost as you think.”

At the last subtle pressure of my words, Silvaʼs eyes widened, her gaze seemingly having questions in them as I spoke.

”Is there a place we can talk in private?”

My words made Silvaʼs eyes narrow up—the mind of the woman always supporting Eleanara from her back coming into control as she spoke.

”I can take you to such a place. Let me down now.”

Silva spoke with strong intention in her words, to which I shook my head with a smile, my gaze having its mischief to it but also a seriousness as I replied.

”Iʼm sorry, I canʼt do that. Right now, you need someone with you, and I donʼt want you running away.”

My words didnʼt have a good effect on Silva as she replied.

”Do you think I canʼt get out of your embrace? Now put me down before I lose my patience.”

Her words made me frown as I looked sharply at her and spoke.

”No can do. I have a promise, and I will keep it. It canʼt be that you are being flustered by being in the lap of such a young man?”

My words hit at her ego as she replied back.

”You havenʼt lived long enough to make me flustered.”

She replied.

ʼWeʼll see about that.ʼ

I thought as Silva started to slowly struggle again in my embrace, her pride not allowing such a situation to happen at all. Thus, I had to pull out the big guns.

”If you wonʼt allow this, then I will stop the full truth from you and even the Queen.”

This time, my words hit the home base, and Silva stopped moving. Her beautiful features now had a frown on them as she looked at me, her gaze seemingly searching for the truth as I gave her a very light smirk—which I was sure made her angry. Finding the situation a no-win situation, she could only give up as she replied.

”Fine, go this way.”

Silva finally spoke, a small blush coming to her face from the sheer embarrassment of what was happening to her. For a moment, I took away the pain that was filling her, though it would surely come back to her. As I started to walk with Silva in my arms, her light body was quite fun to handle as I soon reached a door to a room.

With a command from Silva, the door opened up to a more exquisite bedroom, which might have been used for guest purposes. Thankfully for Silva, the maids had been moved away from this region, so she was saved from any embarrassment and rumours that would spread around. I walked into the room with Silva still in my arms.

The moment we entered the room, the door closed behind me with a thud. Silva, now looking at me with a burning gaze, spoke.

”Put me down.”

The weight of authority in her voice made it clear—she was someone used to leading. Smiling, I slowly placed her on the ground. Pushing any further would only backfire on me. Leaving Silva standing, I walked towards one of the seats and sat down, my gaze falling on her as I spoke.

”Please, take a seat.”

My words were filled with respect. Silva gave me a certain, discerning look before finally taking the seat across from me. Her expression was far from pleasant as she spoke once more.

”Speak. Please tell me the whole truth.”
