The Conquerors Path

Chapter 894 - 892-Sexy, Strong But Not Strong?

The whole place looked spotless around me, and it had a menacing legacy. On the top ceiling, I could see well-drawn depictions of the past, showcasing all the glory that Lyssandra had brought to this empire and marking her legacy as one of the greats who led this species.

My gaze then landed on a throne in front of me. This whole place looked like another throne room, and seated in it was Lyssandra.

’Damn, looks like she dressed up well for me’

I thought, looking at the stunning dwarven woman seated on the throne, her legs were crossed delicately, the slit in her gown revealing a glimpse of her thigh, each slight shift of her thighs as she adjusted her posture, sent a teasing glimpse of smooth, golden-toned skin.

The bodice clung to her like a second skin to highlight the full curve of her breasts without being overtly indecent. The deep neckline framed her collarbones, a single, delicate chain of dwarven gold rested above the swell of her chest, as if deliberately drawing attention there.

She sat with one leg crossed over the other, her thigh peeking through the slit of her gown, her foot clad in heeled sandals laced up her calves. And then, as if she had caught the thought lingering in the air, she shifted—uncrossing her legs with a deliberate slowness, her gown parting just enough before she gracefully re-crossed them, the new angle only amplifying the taunt.

Her expression looked a bit dry and bored as she sat with a very authoritative posture on her throne, her gaze falling on me. No expression or movement of the inner problems happening in her heart was shown to me at all.

’Guess what they say is true, great kings gotta have great poker faces’

Laughing internally at that thought, I made the play go its way. The moment my gaze landed on her, my expression shifted to one of surprise. My eyes stumbled, and for a moment, I fell into a certain gaze as I muttered.

”Absolutely beautiful”

My words didn’t make any changes to the expression of Lyssandra, who kept her whole persona in check as I suddenly went forth to hold over my chest, seemingly as if I am facing some kind of difficulty holding back my emotions as I stand in front of Lyssandra. My expression seemingly being caught in the eyes of Lyssandra as I, for a moment, saw her bite her lips as she spoke.

”What is it? You seem quite struggling?”

Her words made me break out of my thoughts as I looked at Lyssandra in surprise, my eyes showing a certain fire to them as I replied without any filters.

”I had heard legends about you, and I had my own expectations about such a legend when I thought I would meet you. But all of those fade away in the awe of your beauty. I have never seen someone more ravishing.”

My words would have been disrespectful in a normal setting, but none of what is happening here is normal at all, and it’s quite cute to see how Lyssandra sat in that throne of hers, trying her best to keep that posture of hers which makes her look menacing. Normally, that would be the case, but now, matching it with her dwarf height and me knowing the struggle she is going through on the inside, just makes it all the more cute in my eyes.

’Let’s break that composure, shall we?’

I thought with an inward evil smile.

Third Person POV:

Only God knows how hard Lyssandra is fighting right now. All over the night long, she had planned on how she would take the things. She wanted to first create the atmosphere of the two of them meeting and being impressed by her treasure, which would then allow for her to support him from behind, telling her family to deal with him in the correct manner. She had thought a lot on how things would go.

Lyssandra had planned through it all. Unlike her daughter, she can’t be as flexible as her in this case. Well, that’s not entirely true at all. She can do what she wants, as her husband, in a sense, doesn’t even have control over the place. She was the true ruler, but even that doesn’t mean she wants to let herself go loose so fast.

In the end of things, what Lyssandra wants is for her treasure to not see her as some sort of loose woman. She wants to let him fight to get even closer, and Lyssandra had thought of several plans and ways in which she could have done this. She thought of different scenarios this could go through and dealt with different solutions to any problems that may arise.

Lyssandra, just like Valdris, knew what path she would have to take to keep her treasure close to her, and she was willing to do whatever it takes to achieve that. Lyssandra wanted to take it slow, to build up the true warmth in between them. Her belief stemmed from the fact that, unlike her daughter, she wasn’t one to be easily dealt with.

But oh, was she wrong.

’I just want to take him up and have me cuddled in his strong arms’

Lyssandra thought as she gulped down her saliva. Her gaze had automatically found itself to Austin when he had walked into the room. She had gone the extra length today to look beautiful and sensual, highlighting her look a bit more than she has ever done in her life. And now, her heart raced like never before as she ’officially’ met her treasure.

The moment went like a spark to her brain. Her body heated up, her face almost blushed hard, while a smile threatened to leak out of her lips. The memories of what he had done and what she had seen passed faster and faster through her mind, reminding her of the taboo she had done, which only went forth to make her body even hotter.

Right now, she just wanted to throw away all decorum, call up her treasure to her side, make him sit on the throne, and then sit on his lap and enjoy Austin’s warm embrace. Gods! She has never felt such strong desire ever before in her life!

Lyssandra bit her inner lips, trying to regain her posture. And when she saw her treasure being dazed by her beauty, she felt an inner happiness she had never felt before. She could see his eyes trailing over her, which she would normally find disrespectful and teach that person a lesson, but for now, she just wanted him to always look at her body, enjoy anything he wanted to.

And the later moment when he complimented her, she almost lost it and just wanted to hug her treasure up. Right now, Lyssandra was playing to the most of her willpower that she had cultivated all her life, and it wasn’t easy at all to keep herself in check. All her plans she made till now somehow came to look a bit stupid now.

”Normally, I would take the tongue of any man who would say such things to me, but I shall allow an exception for this moment.”

Lyssandra spoke out, her words trying to be a bit more harsh than she expected them to be, trying to hide all her embarrassment.

’Noooo...I hope he wasn’t hurt by those words!’

The inner Lyssandra thought as Austin, being taken by the words, only smiled, a certain glint in his eyes as he looked at Lyssandra as he spoke.

”Oh? And why am I getting such a pass?”

Austin asked, pushing his luck. Lyssandra wanted to exert some pressure now, but she couldn’t bring it in her heart to say anything bad towards her treasure or even hurt him in any way. Thus, she narrowed her eyes, trying to use her aura to pressure him as Lyssandra replied.

”You are more arrogant than I heard about.”

To her words, Austin smiled, the smile making the heart of Lyssandra skip so fast she couldn’t trace it as her treasure spoke.

”And you are dodging the question.”

His words having a lingering meaning to them as he took a step forward, moving closer towards Lyssandra, which would normally have any man’s head blown away. As Austin spoke before Lyssandra could even chime in,

”I have been with several powerful people and seen even some legends of power. All of them would have brought me down to my knees by now for even being a bit disrespectful, and yet here you are giving me such leeway. Very curious.”

Austin’s steps resonated through the hall as he walked closer to Lyssandra, who seemed to be shrinking in her throne, trying her best to keep her pressure up but failing when Austin got closer and closer towards her. Her heart beat increased with each step her treasure took to be close to her, while her body flushed red. Discover exclusive tales on .Côm

”Normally, I wouldn’t take such risks, but I feel it in my heart. I feel the throbbing in my heart right now that I have only experienced once in my life—an experience that I had gotten myself yesterday.....”

Austin spoke, soon having gotten himself very close to Lyssandra, walking closer and closer towards her. And with each of his steps, the pressure only got weaker and weaker, which made a small smile come to his face as Austin went forth to get a hold of his heart, seemingly feeling its beat as he continued to speak.

”I had felt a second connection like this, which Valdris had dodged. She said I would find the answer on my own, which meant she knew where this second connection was being formed from. I doubted ever I could find a second, and lo and behold, it was so close to me....”

As Austin ended those last words of his, he stood over Lyssandra. The woman of high power, now not even looking at Austin, her gaze, which always stayed strong, now focused a bit downward as Austin hovered over her. With a single touch, Austin went forth to hold Lyssandra’s chin, feeling its soft texture on his hand as he made this sexy GILF raise her head to meet his eyes.

Their gazes clashing for a moment, the spark changing everything.
