The Conquerors Path

Chapter 993: Chapter 991-The Blood Queen.

’Guess the passive still works well.’

I thought as I looked at the vampire secretary who was trying her best not to show the fact that she wanted to just jump my bones and suck my blood till she reached the highest peak of pleasure.

”Um... hello?”

I said, to which the vampire woman quickly broke out of her daze as she spoke.

”AH! Yes... Come this way, the Lord is waiting for you.”

Her words were professional and curt, and it would have been better if she hadn’t wiped away the saliva from her lips in the end. So I, holding back my smile, followed the vampire as she led the way. Even then, I could see her turning back to look at me sometimes in between, like she was somehow just holding her back from throwing away all the hard work she reached to reach this position for just a moment of pleasure.

Though in the end her rationality won over her, and I can also see how she reached her current position, too. That was some great willpower. Just to tease her, I had increased the effect of the passive just on her for fun, and as she led the way, I was moved from the room itself, outside to a hallway, which quickly moved through with some passing vampires here and there, to which I had reduced the overall effects.

It just gave them more of a goodwill glance to me as the secretary soon led me through the hallway, reaching a more elevator-like place, to which the door opened up. She stood outside the elevator as she spoke.

”This is as far as I go. The elevator is already planned to take you to the top to meet the Lord. Hope you have a good talk.”

”Thank you.”

I said with a smile, which caused the hesitating woman to hesitate once more as she spoke while handing me something.

”Here you go, this is a direct connection to my communication orb. If you ever want to get in touch about anything here, you can contact me.”

”Oh sure.”

I replied as I took hold of the slip. Though as I tried pulling it, the secretary didn’t let go, and I looked into her eyes as she stressed.

”You can call me for anything... anything.”

”Hahaha... sure, will do.”

I replied with an awkward smile, after which she finally let go of the slip. I stored it up as the door closed on me. Soon, it started to fluctuate as it started to move. The speed itself was quite faster than I anticipated, as I, within 30 seconds, soon reached a certain floor as the door opened up.

As it did, I was welcomed into a whole other type of world. I mean in a more powerful royal sense, as there seems to be a grey pale moon in the sky and opening more towards me, being a vast majestic field that seemed to spread far and wide, like an open field in the sky with a beautiful view that seemed to take breaths away.

And awaiting towards the centre of the place, seated on quite a comfortable sofa, sipping what seems to be some kind of red stuff, was a woman. A very mature-looking vampire woman. She had pale skin like the rest, red blood eyes, and red hair that seemed to be created from blood itself. What was fascinating was that I could see the years had created subtle grey strands around her.

Her face was beautiful, no doubt, but it had some wrinkles around her eyes that gave her a more mature look. Along with the fact that she indeed seemed to be about in her 40s, an overall extremely mature beauty. As I could see through the more casual dress she wore, she had some great curves, both front and back.

I didn’t hesitate for long as I took a step into the realm from the elevator, feeling as if the whole world had shifted for me, as I started to walk through the field, feeling as real as it can be, as I kept walking straight as I moved through the field. Within a few minutes or so, I ended up in front of the woman, who finally looked at me with those red eyes that seemed to shine with a bit of grey.

One can only imagine how old she really is for such a long-living species, such as her and one that has reached even the Imperial realm to look old. Though it’s not a problem much for me, being me who has fucked around with Gods, for whose age technically ceased to exist a long time ago. She was just a very mature woman.

”It’s nice to meet the legendary Blood Queen Vixuola De Dracula.”

My voice was very respectful as I gave a light bow to her, who just waved her hand at me, a more warm, aged, mature smile coming to her face as she responded.

”No need for the formalities. Here, have a seat.”

Hearing so, I took a seat before her, getting myself comfortable, as I took in the gentle waves hitting me during the cold night and the beautiful grey moon lying in the sky.

”Want some blood wine?”

She asked as she pointed at me, to which I waved my hands at her.

”No, thank you, I just enjoy regular wine.”

My words made her smile as she waved her hand, and another set of glass and something else appeared in front of me.

”Go on, have some.”

To which I took up the bottle that appeared in front of me and poured it into the glass. A beautiful red color forming to it, like dark blood, as I took it off the table, a smell hit my nose as I took the scent in. The scent itself affects me in a sense of being drunk if I were a normal-level fighter. As I took a sip of it, a hit of surprise came to my face.

”The Original Delcuse Von Vicar II from the blood war era?”

I asked in surprise, and this time it was Vixuola’s turn for Vixuola to be surprised as she asked.

”You know the taste? I thought I was the only one in the world with its last existing creation.”

Her words made my lips twitch as I asked.

”And you took something out like that for a first-time meeting?”

My words hint disrespectful but it can be chalked up to the age, as she replied.

”I just like to be dramatic, but you didn’t say how you know the taste.”

’Yeah, I can see your dramatic tastes.’

The whole fucking place was an indication of how dramatic she can be.

”As someone wise, you should know, nothing in this world is always absolute.”

My answer seemed to please her as she smiled a bit as she took a sip of her own blood wine. I stayed the same, as I leaned back to the sofa, enjoyed the soft breeze, took in the taste, and just enjoyed the silence. Nothing broke the contact between us for some minutes, after which Vixuola finally started the talk.

”I heard a lot about you from the past incidents, and everyone was curious about what level you lie in. And my... my... I am surprised, reaching Origin level 7 at your age. You have really hidden yourself.”

”How!?”

A surprised expression came across my face, one of shock and panic, which only seemed to please the woman as she responded, waving her hand around the place.

”The treasure you use to hide your Origin rank is quite good, but this is a domain under which no lies can be shown to me. Nothing can be hidden away from me. Thus, the moment you stepped in here, your lies were transparent to me.”

My expression turned twisted, and a hint of anger came to me at the situation. The old sadist seemed to be enjoying it as she continued.

”I can’t even begin to believe where the DarkNight even found someone like you. To reach such a level of power at your age, perhaps you even overcome the talent of Mira Lionheart.”

Most wouldn’t pick it up, but I did when she muttered the word Lionheart. I saw the subtle twitch and flaw in her aura, as if saying it was a bit grating for her.

”How old are you?”

She asked me with a peering gaze, to which I, seemingly deflating a bit, replied.

”Sigh... I am currently 24 years of age.”

”That still makes you the greatest talent in the world right now, perhaps even greater than...”

She didn’t finish her words, but this time I could sense that she was a bit more pissed than normal, and I smiled inwardly. Truth be told, I am just tempted to have Farah just transfer her into a blood angel and then use her and control her, but doing that directly to one of the leading faction leaders of the war council isn’t really a good idea.

The war councils themselves have a lot of secrets they hold, and I can’t just go about changing just anyone. It must be ones I can control and keep fully monitoring. This woman’s talents speak for themselves, but right now I am holding back on turning her, though in the future I might do something like that.

’Plus, I have other ways to deal with her, too.’
