The Conquerors Path

Chapter 962: Chapter 960-Huh.......Me Dead.

[Ding!]

[Fate Has Decided]

[A new fate has been etched for you!]

[Your role in the story has been decided!]

[You have been assigned the fate....]

[The Conqueror!]

’Hummm...that was fast.’

[For a Fate? That was literally a whole lifetime taken to reach that decision.]

Yeah, I could understand that, and in a sense I did get an amazing fate indeed.

[

Fate: The Conqueror.

Description: You take what you want and you do what you want.

]

’An apt yet simple description.’

I mused at the words, a smile tugging on my lips as I saw the fate that was given to me—a fate that lets me walk the path I want and is something that I won’t reject. Fate did indeed play it smart when it came to me.

’The Conqueror’s path doesn’t sound bad, does it?’

[It’s an apt way to go for you; this way, you are free to mess with the heroes or even the villains of the fate, and right now, they have also regained what rightfully belonged to them]

My expression turned sour at those words, ’cause it’s true: fate wasn’t just now set for me but also set for the other ones—the so-called protagonists and the new protagonists born into this. All of them are and are now fully acclimated to the fate of the world.

[It wasn’t just your fate that was being diced; the luck and blessings that fate assigned to the new ones were on hold, and even for the past ones too, but now it’s free—and the luck and opportunities and growth they are blessed with will slowly start to overwhelm in a sense even you]

’Can’t have that happening.’

In my own way, I really will have to thank my ’mommies’, who helped in this, but for now, there are bigger things at play here. First of all, the plans I had all put in place are shaking themselves apart; the girls are going wild, and a future that I might not be able to predict will soon fall to me, too, which isn’t all that good from any situation.

[Not to mention you have pissed off fate; the amount of workload she has....uff...I would stay clear of her for a few centuries.]

’Great, now I have pissed off fate too. What else can go wrong?’

[.....]

’.....’

’I shouldn’t have said that.’

[Ding!]

’Mother fu-’

[The attention of Divine beings on you has increased by 1000%!]

[They will now be actively trying to intervene in your life and trying to get to you more!]

’Fuck!’

My head felt even more in pain.

’What the fuck does this mean?’

[As you know, Orpheus and Razellia were the ones holding the other Gods from just ripping you away with them to understand more—especially when you stepped to Godhood, where they just wanted to raise you to the celestial realms, where they can have what you gave Lala—but now things have changed]

’Changed how?’

[Well, you see, with you finally being integrated into this realm and your fate having been decided, technically in all senses of the words, the Gods have their own right to take you up, and not to mention their curiosities have now exploded beyond imagination. Even worse is the condition of taking a step back from being overprotected—one of the things that Fate had put forth to both the Goddess of Life and Goddess of Destruction for her to stop her from coming down and spanking your ass.]

’I see.....the petty act of Fate.....’

Leaning back against the sofa, my mind started to run in circles, information passing through me.

’So basically, I have to deal with crazy girls who are going crazier, situations running out of my control, protagonists like bastards with great blessings, Gods who will be looking to me at any moment, new girls who will be striking me, and more—all the while dealing with some normal or maybe bad luck?’

[In a nutshell]

’I see.....I see....I see.....’

Suddenly, I leaned forward, a wide smile on my face as I started to use my full power to see if I could just run away from the dimension!

[Wait!...wait!.....don’t run!]

’Fuck that!.... I am getting out of here!’

Shouting back, I really try to break through the dimensional barriers to another world, but ended up losing down on it due to me not having reached that level of power yet.

[Even if you run away, all of them will still hunt you down!]

I paused at those words, me stuffing myself back into the sofa at the absolute truth of those words, ’cause the system is right: I could run to the end of the cosmos and they will still end up finding me one way or the other.

[The only way out of this hole is to keep digging]

’.....’

’I don’t think anyone in this world has ever said that.’

Refocusing on my mind, I tried to calm myself down for now; the situation ain’t all that bad.

[....]

Yeah, who am I kidding? I am fucked.

[.....]

’Why do I feel like there is more bad news?’

[You want more?]

’No...no....I am fine with this.’

Pushing away the system, I started to run through the different things at hand right now. It seems several things I pushed back need to be dealt with as fast as possible.

’I can’t stop these girls from going full-on crazy, but I can indeed at least control how much crazy they will all go.’

And just as I was trying to relax my mind, a message arrived from Trisha. Reading through it, my expression turned a bit bright; though it was good news, it arrived during the worst time.

’At least the connection I wanted opened up.’

Thinking it down, my face hardened—some things I was pushing back now needed a more delicate touch, too.

’Farah.’

|Yes, master?|

The contact line was established ’cause at the moment, Farah was a bit far away from me.

’I give you full authority; establish it.’

|It shall be done!|

I felt the excitement in it when Farah had replied like that, making me smile. Slowly, I started to calm down; not everything was lost, and if I were one to break due to just a little bit of stress, then I would have broken a long time ago.

[Um.....]

’Spit it.’

[The lost realms will be coming back]

’Yes?’

[They will be coming back]

’They who?’

[They]

’.....’

[Sigh.....as I said, the whole thing is twisted, which means the lost lives and species of the ancient times will climb back out]

’.....’

’Sigh...explain more.’

[The messages were indications towards the whole world heading towards coming back with everything it had lost; they will all come back]

’How long do I have?’

[You have time, but if I were you, I would hurry up some things; the world will soon change as a whole]

’Tell me about it.’

Taking in those words, my expression turned a little taut, knowing of what we have lost. Gaining it back will only be more dangerous than it is right now, but before I could get to any more plans, the door to my room opened up as my family walked in.

”That was amazing, big brother!”

Elda shouted as she ran up to me and just jumped into my lap with a big smile. I caught her falling on me as I held her lightly—a smile on my face as I hugged the cutey. My eyes then landed on Nora, who, giving me a nod, spoke.

”That was amazing.”

”Glad you enjoyed it.”

I replied.

”I have to go; Olivia called me for a meeting.”

”Really? How about a kiss before you go?”

I asked back with a tease as Olivia blushing, walked up to me and gave me a light peck on my cheek, after which she headed out. During this time, Elda had made herself comfortable on my lap, enjoying the light embrace.

’It seems Olivia is about to attack Nora, too.’

The thought is grim, but I can’t jump into it—not yet anyway. And, tearing down my thoughts, I looked at Elda sitting all innocent on my lap.

’And how do I deal with this sweet devil?’

During my fight, Elda wasn’t all that stable either; that moment of corruption that rose, it hit Elda, and she played her part quite frighteningly, if I say so myself. Nathalia has no idea what sort of demon she has at her back, whom she considers a close friend.

”Big brother?”

Elda said as she looked at me with those innocent eyes, all lovey dovey, and if I had known what I did now, perhaps I would have also fallen to her innocent act. Looking all cute and lovely, I smiled back as I patted her head and asked.

”So what did you like most about the fight?”

My words making Elda smile as she started to excitedly say all about the fight she liked the most, a smile on my face while my mind ran the possibilities of how I could contain Elda—because right now what I feel as the most dangerous one I should deal with being Elda, ’cause unlike the other girls, she had without a blink gone for the kill.
