Summoners War: Only I Summoned Divine Beasts

Chapter 695: Revealing His Cards

A few hours ago.

[In exchange for 10,000 ena, Nidhogg will have to kill enemies of Nathanʼs choice for the next two weeks. The contract will be activated the moment Party A, Nathan, says the keyword, which is ʼEna Contract, Activate.ʼ]

”This is the contract.” Nathan showed the contract for the ena to Nidhogg. ”Do you have any questions?”

”Not really. Once I get the ena, my body should start growing. It will be noticeable, so Anubis will know when he has to suppress the zombie. Then I will incinerate the zombie and pulverize his soul.”

”Now that I think about it, you are supposed to be the dragon of the end, right? The one bringing those souls to the underworld after Ragnarok.” Nathan crossed his arms.

”Indeed.” Nidhogg nodded. ”Besides, my power can stop the chaos that has been produced by it.”

”Fair enough. I wonder if I should bring Surtr to this world or not…” Nathan smirked. ”Not me, definitely, since he is a titan, not a beast.”

”I donʼt think you need to do that, but it doesnʼt necessarily hurt to try.” Nidhogg shrugged. ”As long as he is an ally, itʼs not really a problem. Besides, I donʼt really have any conflicts except for some arrogant divine beasts.”

”Hahaha.” Nathan chuckled.

”Still, are you sure about this? 10,000 ena is not a small number. In addition, 100,000 ena is the threshold for your quality. By giving me this 10,000, you will not have enough ena to maintain your quality.”

Nathan shook his head. ”Itʼs fine. Itʼs only 10,000. What weʼll do next will be hunting warrior class demons in preparation for the extermination of the Divine Hand. I can get back this amount of ena in no time.

”Besides, once I get my element as well as the fifth familiar, Iʼll be in a good condition for horizontal growth.”

”!!!” Nidhogg could imagine his plans. ”Are you going to summon more divine beasts… like increasing the quantity as much as possible?”

”Yes. I donʼt know how many divine beasts I want to summon, considering it will be decided on the circumstances. But yes, Iʼm planning to summon a lot more divine beasts within a short period of time after this.

”As Jason has taught me, once you reach your fifth familiar, your growth will be quite horizontal. That means itʼs time to focus on quantity instead of quality.

”After all, having 100,000 ena will give you a quite talented familiar and this number is not that hard to meet,” Nathan explained.

”I understand. Itʼs not my position to tell you what to do. Besides, I believe you have thought about it carefully.” Nidhogg nodded. ”Besides, if there are others who can do it instead of me, I can laze around.”

”Are you sure? You might get less prioritized for ena, though.” Nathan grinned.

”…” Nidhogg looked away.

”Hahaha.” Nathan chuckled while waving his hand. ”Anyway, get the signal and immediately kill the enemy, will you?”

”Understood.”

Nidhogg remembered it while he was slapping the zombie with his claws. The zombie struck him with his sword skillfully, but this wasnʼt enough.

Nidhogg had gathered his fire in his throat, ready to unleash the chaos fire.

To his surprise, he suddenly felt a surge of ena coming into his body.

ʼThis is…ʼ Nidhogg widened his eyes in shock. As he said previously, the moment the ena entered his body, his quality was upgraded, which resulted in a transformation.

His body grew almost 50% larger than his previous body.

”Oohhhh! This is it. Iʼve been waiting for this.” Nidhogg grinned.

”!!!” Nidhoggʼs growth was so much that even Anubis could easily notice it from afar. It was a bit too early, but there must be a reason Nathan chose to go this early. ”Suppression.”

The zombie was shocked enough to see Nidhoggʼs body growing larger, but his physical strength also increased tremendously. The claws that he stopped with his sword earlier started to overpower him.

All of a sudden, there was a sense of suppression that made his body limp as though all strength was leaving his body. His instinct was telling him to kneel down, but because of Nidhoggʼs claws, he ended up getting slammed down to the ground.

”Rawr!” The zombie opened its mouth, struggling underneath Nidhoggʼs hand.

”This is the end.” Nidhoggʼs eyes turned bloodshot as the purple flame hidden inside his mouth leaked out. He then released his breath at point-blank range as a high-pitched cry escaped together with his fire.

The fire incinerated the zombie, destroying all his body. It then spread in all directions, hitting a few buildings. The chaos fire immediately flared up and spread crazily, enveloping several buildings in an instant.

”!!!” Alan was shocked the most. After all, his connection to the zombie vanished. ”It died so easily?”

ʼAn opening!ʼ Nathan sped up. With Alan getting distracted, he could slip past Alanʼs defense easily.

He punched Alan in the gut. Unfortunately, Alan was still a grandmaster. He somehow reacted to his attack by placing his sword in front of him to reduce the impact on his punch.

Still, there was no need for Nathan to hide himself any longer. This fist was the Dragon Fist that he combined with his new discharge technique.

Dragon Fist.

Roar!*

A dragon emerged from the fist and bit Alan before flying forward, dragging him inside its mouth.

”Kh!” Alan gritted his teeth before the dragon crashed into the building while the remaining energy pinned him to the wall. ”Gah!”

This was Nathanʼs usual way of fighting. He would weaken his enemy with a few surprises or new things, which would lower their performance. As a result, the enemy couldnʼt unleash their full strength against him, ultimately lowering their chance to win.

Alan ended up falling for the same trick before he realized it.

On the other hand, Fenrir suddenly noticed the incoming presence, reminding him of the mission.

He, the Ent, and the troll couldnʼt help but glance to the side, seeing a massive dragon approaching them, specifically the Ent.

*Roar!*
