Rising Shards

Even if it was probably too late to stop now, I did wonder: were we really doing this? Was this really alright? There were still some twinges of guilt I felt, but they felt the same as I did when I did anything fun, the kind of guilt that was programmed into me at Tesata. They trained me there to feel guilty any time I was happy, no matter how benign the thing that made me happy was. So I decided I didn’t want to obey that. I wanted to dive into this happiness with my favorite person.

I didn’t want to stop, either. All that time I spent agonizing over whether or not Zeta would be interested in me sexually, interested in figuring out more sexual things between us, and now here we were side by side, naked, exploring that together. We were covered up by blankets, sure, but something about laying ourselves bare under them felt right for finally opening up like this as we pleasured ourselves together.

I couldn’t remember what music was playing on my chill playlist at this point, I was so focused on watching Zeta. I spent so much time imagining what she’d look like feeling this kind of pleasure, and with her at my side, it easily cleared how good my daydreams were (Zeta tends to do that for me quite a bit). She looked so...pretty. Like adorable, yes, hot with the blanket covering just up to her collarbone, yes, but I kept focusing on how pretty she was, the way she’d shut her eyes, the notes she’d hit as she whimpered, the way her whole body shuddered as she finished, it was magic. Zeta finished much faster than I was expecting, but she kept going at my request, two things that filled me with pride.

I was taking a bit longer to get there, but that was fine by me. Zeta opened her eyes slowly, catching me staring.

”Hey,” Zeta said. Her tone was soft, like she’d just woken up from a pleasant dream. ”This is pretty crazy, huh?”

”It is,” I said, my own voice shaky from the pleasure growing in me. ”You’re really pretty.”

”Whaaaat?” Zeta said. ”You are, too.”

”You’re so beautiful,” I said.

”You are, too,” Zeta said, then scoffed at herself. ”I don’t even know how to put into words, I just keep repeating myself like a robot or something.”

”That’s OK, we can have some robot moments,” I said. ”Beep borp.”

”M-meep,” Zeta said. ”Wasn’t it aliens when we did the meep morp thing?”

”Robot aliens, I think,” I said, both of us falling into a laughing fit, gently bumping our heads together.

It was something totally new for us, a leap forward, but we still were doing it our dorky way, finding things to laugh at, throwing our silly jokes in, forging ahead into uncharted territory the only way we knew how.

”I have a selfish request,” Zeta said.

”Tell me,” I said. ”Anything. Well, just about. You know what I mean.”

”I...want to take my blanket off,” Zeta said. ”For the rest of this. Is that OK?”

”Yes,” I said, my mind foggy with lust now. ”That’d be...so...do you want me to...?” The words barely came out, almost lost to me just whimpering in agreement. I was getting close now, unsure what to do with this much bliss at once.

”Uh huh,” Zeta said. ”Is it too selfish to ask? I want to watch you. I mean, already am, but like…”

I nodded. Then shook my head. ”I mean it’s not selfish! It’d be...amazing.”

”So...we’re in agreement?” Zeta asked.

”We are in agreement!” I said. ”Is that what we’re gonna say when we make a decision like this?”

Zeta shrugged. ”It kinda works. No, wait wait! We totally have to say the line!”

”Which...?” Again, my brain was pretty much mush at the moment. ”Oh!”

”The water’s a bit cold,” Zeta said, tapping her toe against me. ”Kay, are you ready?” She blinked, then frowned. ”Awww, but that’s mostly my line then, wait,” Her whining at her own idea was really, really cute. The temporarily halted momentum was worth it to see that adorable reaction.

”Why don’t we both say ’kay, are you ready,’ then? Say that together, then we both say our yeahs, then...” I got a hand out, ready to pull my blanket away.

”OK,” Zeta said, eyes wide with wonderment.

We both nodded, and whispered at about the same second: ”Kay, are you ready?”

”Yes,” Zeta said.

”I am,” I said.

While I was foggy in the moments before, my lust became crystal clear as we both flipped our blankets away. I didn’t really realize until that moment that the blanket idea made this more of a dramatic reveal, one that made me reach a new level of excitement. We got some glimpses when we got into the blankets, but now we had a full view again. Any concern I had about doing this was fully defeated by Zeta’s lustful gaze toward me. We didn’t need to say the line again to continue, but I felt it crawl up in my throat, so I was glad Zeta started again on her own, her hands reaching below. I got my momentum back pretty quickly as well.

This felt so much different than just seconds earlier, now it was even more vulnerable, even more open, bringing us even closer. I was tempted to reach out to her, and wondered if she felt the same. For now, though, my body begged for release, and I had to grant that request. As I stared all around Zeta’s body, I reached the peak, feeling like I was going to explode from this incredible rush throughout my body. My ears were buzzing as I started to return to my senses a bit, just in time to see Zeta reach her own climax for a second time.

We panted, grins plastered across our faces, ones that looked almost devious. I did feel kind of devious, for once we were able to do this without anyone interrupting or stalling ourselves. Neither of us could hold back as we leaned in, kissing deeply, hugging each other close. Between deep kisses, I nibbled at Zeta’s neck, whispering over and over, ”Mine. Mine. Mine.” I savored the feeling of her arms around me, of our bodies closer than they’d ever been, even if it was just a brief moment, even if it was something that could become mundane later, right then it was magic.
