Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 665: The ’Key’ To Everything! Part-1.

”No wonder humans attacked the fairy kingdom and invaded the city of Kenorland in search of you...”

”Those three S-rankers likely sensed which direction you had been flung to by the sea waves... they knew that the possibility of you being in fairyland was quite high...”

Hearing Lia’s words, Bela nodded her head and replied in a calm voice,

”In this trial prepared by me and King Allen, you managed to save the temple of nature and helped the fairies retreat...”

”But in reality, there was no one like you who could save us all back then...”

Bela did manage to reach the temple of nature, but she was cursed with the destiny of being a great person in the future; it was impossible for her to run from her own destiny.

Sooner or later, she had to confront reality head-on!

”Just like in the trail, human army invaded Kenorland and shattered the barrier protecting it by using powerful space-related artifacts...”

”And sensing the movement of a massive human army, demons also got alerted and jumped into this battle as a third party, causing thing to get even more chaotic...”

Bela took a deep breath and spoke with a sigh.

”Not only Kenorland was completely defenseless, it was taken by surprise... it was eventually flattened in a massive battle that kept going on and on for an entire week before both humans and demons finally retreated in the end...”

”By the time they retreated, ’The Temple of Nature’ was destroyed, ’The Grand Atlas’ was thrown inside a space crack by Nova and the fountain of elemental life was shattered into pieces as demons and humans both went crazy over it...”

”They fought each other for days to earn the right to possess the fountain of elemental life, but in the end, when demons were feeling that they were at a disadvantage, they self-destructed and shattered the mythical artifact!”

Bela shook her head in regret as she said,

”Nova was a strong fairy... alas, she was unable to stop two armies all by herself; in the end, she had only one choice left, take me and escape!”

”Using secret artifacts of the fairies, she opened a teleportation portal for us both and we escaped without daring to confront the two armies head-on...”

In the trial, Lia directly went forward to confront the two armies and even managed to do significant damage to them; that’s why Nova abandoned the thought of escaping and instead came out to support Lia.

If not for Lia, she wouldn’t have hesitated for a single second the moment she sensed the presence of the two armies attacking the city.

She would immediately take all important artifacts and put them in her own space ring; if she couldn’t, she would abandon them.

As for things like the grand atlas that couldn’t be put inside a space ring, Nova opened portals to throw them inside in hopes that they won’t fall in the demon race’s hands.

While doing all this, she was obviously unable to save her fellow fairies, but she was powerless to do anything else and had no choice but to save whomever she could.

In the end she only managed to take Bela away with her through a portal and managed to save at least one life from that chaotic battlefield!

Perhaps it was Bela’s destiny that she was the one that got saved out of all the others, but this event turned Bela’s life into something completely different!

”The Kenorland incident happened in the year 2030, and for the next twenty years... which is until the Year 2050, I remained on run with Nova...”

”I wandered around the world with her and learned healing techniques and general knowledge from her; she was like a second mother and a mentor to me...”

”She laid the foundation of my future development and in those two decades, I managed to conquer the darkness created in my heart from suffering trauma as a child...”

The reason Bela had told this massive story of her to Lia was not just because she was being sentimental and wanted to share her past with someone else.

The main reason for telling Lia her story was to explain how she awakened the same skills as Lia has!

”Once I conquered the darkness in my heart through hard work and constant effort, I got stuck in a bottleneck... I had the passive skills ’Spiritual Ascension’ and ’Conqueror of Darkness,’ but I couldn’t evolve them no matter what...”

”I was stuck at the peak of A rank for a long time... it was as if my destiny had come to a standstill; no matter what I tried, I just couldn’t go any further on my Path...”

Hearing Bela’s words, Lia narrowed her eyes a bit and spoke.

”But then came the year 2050... the year when the greatest ’Miracle’ was born...”

At Lia’s words, Bela nodded her head as a smile appeared on her face.

”Yes! In the year 2050, the ’World’ changed, the ’Will of Heavens,’ the ’Laws’ of the ’World,’ Mana, Miasma, and all beings in the entire universe...”

”Every existence in this universe felt that sensation of ’change’ as King Allen von Reinhart was born in that year!”

”The very day he was born, my destiny that seemed to have come to a standstill for a long time, finally moved once again, and with help of the ’change’ brought by him, I successfully merged my two skills...”

”That’s how I finally awakened the active skill, ’Ascended Soul,’ and became qualified to create the ’Sword of Promised Destinies’!”

Bela looked into Lia’s eyes and spoke,

”In that moment, I realized the reason for my birth; I realized the reason from my existence and my life...”

”I realized that it was my destiny to become the creator of the ’Sword of Promised Destinies’ for the him...”

”That day, I received the divine revelation of the will of the heavens and finally gained the knowledge that is absolutely crucial in the formation of this mythical artifact!”

”And today I hope that you will inherit this information from me...”
