Reborn as an Extra

Chapter 655: Ascended Soul!

While Rio was dealing with Rahn, Lia had no idea what was going outside; after all, she was unconscious and her soul was busy dealing with all the enhancements pouring into her body.

[Ding! Congratulations! You have broken the ’Limiter’!]

[Ding! Advancing to Rank-S...]

A massive amount of mana entered Lia’s body as the ’Law’ of ’Cosmic Order’ gave her its favor and supported her to become insanely stronger!

[Ding! Congratulations! You have broken through to rank S!]

[Ding! You have learned the skill ’Void Travel’!]

[Ding! You have learned the passive skill, ’Supreme Being’s Aura’!]

[Ding! All your stats have been enhanced greatly!]

[Ding! You have gained a new passive skill, ’Enhanced Regeneration’!]

[Ding! Congratulations! Your skills and techniques have improved greatly!]

[Ding! You have been bestowed a new title, ’Favored of the Cosmic Order’!]

’Void Travel,’ ’Supreme Being’s Aura,’ and ’Enhanced Regeneration’ were standard skills that all S-rankers acquired after ascending to rank S and breaking through the gene limiter.

Rio awakened them during his ascension, and now Lia has awakened them too.

The main reason why S-rankers are so tenacious and so much stronger than A-rankers is not only because of the difference in base stats but also because of these base skills that elevate them to a higher life level.

[Ding! Your Pseudo-legendary talent ’Absolute Precognition’ has been greatly enhanced and has evolved into a legendary talent!]

[Ding! Your rank is now sufficient! You have unlocked new powers of your talent!]

The talent that once could only predict short-term futures has now evolved into something even more devastating and powerful!

[Talent: Absolute Precognition (SSS-)

[Talent description: Your great affinity and hard work have forced the ’law’ of ’Cosmic Order’ to acknowledge your efforts.

Although it cannot grant you the legendary skill that you deserve due to certain reasons, you have been granted a slightly weaker version of the legendary skill!

You have become the first person in the world to force the ’Law’ of ’Cosmic Order’ to make such great exceptions just for one person alone.

Congratulations! now you are not controlled by the thread of destiny; instead, you are the one who can influence the threads of destiny with your own powers!]

[Talent Effect:

1. You can see into a person’s mana, soul, and fate, which can help you see deep into their future using the threads of fate and destiny.

2. The ’law’ of the ’Cosmic order’ bestows upon you the ability to foresee certain calamities in advance.

3. You can see the threads of fate to a certain extent; you can bend the threads of fate to a certain extent and within a certain range. The effects of this ability increases as the user’s rank increases.]

Originally the Lia could only see two seconds in the future, but now that the talent has ascended to a new level, Lia can see much farther in the future using the threads of destiny.

Her ability to see the future will now keep increasing with her increase in rank, and she won’t be as restricted as before!

Originally her skill had a big flaw and weakness that could easily be exploited, and it was that Lia could not see multiple targets’ futures at the same time, but now she can do that too.

Aside from seeing the future, now the other two talent effects that were originally locked have also unlocked, granting Lia even more precision and enhanced range!

Not only can Lia see the threads of destiny connected to a person, she can even manipulate and try to change them according to her powers!

[Ding! You have been granted a new title, ’Fate Weaver’!]

This ascension not only improved Lia’s talents and skills, but it also enhanced all of her base stats and the strength of her soul!

Lia’s passive skills, ’Spiritual Ascension’ and ’Conqueror of Darkness,’ were the main reason why Lia was even able to summon Kai in such a powerful form and let him use his power despite having such a big disparity in strength between them.

These two skills enhanced Lia’s soul power tremendously and reduced the burden placed on her soul when summoning a powerful being like Kai.

After reaching rank S, these two powers also evolved to the next level!

[Ding! Your passive skills, ’Spiritual Ascension’ and ’Conqueror of Darkness,’ have combined and evolved into a new active skill, ’Ascended Soul’!]

When two powerful skills combine and evolve to a new level, that doesn’t just improve their power by just one level; it multiplies the power of both skills with each other and enhances it to an entirely new realm!

[Skill Name: Ascended Soul!]

[Skill Type: Active!]

[Skill Description: Your soul that has become completely immune to darkness can never be tainted by corruption anymore.

Your soul has ascended to the realm of perfection; its ability to tolerate all possibilities and futures has become second to none!

Congratulations, you have now become the second person to have awakened this skill in the entire universe after ’Astra, The Goddess of Protection and Cure’!]

[Skill Effects:

1. Your soul is now immune to miasmic corruption and darkness; any kind of soul and mind attacks related to dark and miasmic elementals will not work on you anymore.

2. Your soul is extraordinary, powerful, and extremely stable, with a dense soul power residing in it. All of your skills and spirit magic-related capabilities will be enhanced tremendously.

3. You can now actively use your soul power to enhance your attacks and abilities!]

The first two effects of the skill were both passive, meaning they would always apply automatically and would enhance Lia tremendously.

As for the third effect, it made the skill an active one, and now Lia can combine it with her own attacks.

This enhancement made Lia’s soul completely immune to any kind of corruption and darkness-related attack!

Of course, Lia’s body is still vulnerable to miasma and corruption, but her mind and soul will no longer be susceptible to it.

Although this skill is not as overpowered as Rio’s ’True Immunity,’ it was still an insane boost for a divine spirit user like Lia.

Lia was currently unconscious, but if she could see her stats right now, she would perhaps faint from shock.

Improvement in one talent brought improvement to other weaker talents too; Lia’s sword aptitude was improved tremendously and finally became capable of reaching the rank of demi-gods, and even her spirit affinity was improved quite a lot.

Her sword skills and her other skills improved a level too, and now she was a genuine S-ranker without a doubt!
